20 Years of Loyalty

20 Years of Loyalty, but AT&T Couldn’t Care LessI have been a loyal AT&T customer for 20 years without a single issue—no late payments, no complaints, just a model customer. That all changed when my mother passed away, and AT&T’s response to my situation has been nothing short of appalling. After my mother’s death, I informed AT&T that I no longer needed her phone line. Despite this, they continued charging me for 10 months for a line that was never used. I wasn’t even asking for a refund for those months, just some acknowledgment and help. Instead, they told me that they couldn’t cancel the line without charging me an additional $500—on top of the nearly $800 I had already paid. When I reached out for support, they not only failed to help, but the customer service representatives were cold, dismissive, and condescending. I had to fight to get any response, and when I did, I was told that if I didn’t pay up, I would continue to be charged monthly for a line I had clearly requested to cancel. The worst part? They didn’t even care about the loss of my mother or my job. Instead, they treated me as though I was some kind of deadbeat trying to get out of paying. I had to go through this entire process multiple times, getting sent in circles with no regard for my situation. To make matters worse, when I went into an AT&T store to resolve the issue face-to-face, I was met with more rudeness and apathy. The associate was condescending when I explained the death of my mother and even mocked me when I couldn’t produce the death certificate immediately, as though I hadn’t just lost the person closest to me.When I finally accepted the offer to settle the phone line, I paid hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket, not because I wanted to, but because AT&T refused to take any responsibility for their mistake. After all the pain and hardship I went through, they continued to send me confusing and threatening messages about late fees, even though I had paid everything they claimed I owed.I’ve tried everything to get someone to listen, but nothing changed. After 20 years of loyalty, AT&T treated me with nothing but contempt. The lack of compassion and empathy is staggering. This company doesn’t care about its customers, and they certainly don’t care about basic human decency.Do yourself a favor and avoid AT&T. They will take your money, ignore your requests, and treat you like garbage when you’re at your lowest. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and I will never trust them again.

I ordered tape for removal boxes on a deadline as moving flat.. it was not delivered to Waitrose store .I complained and reordered again to be delivered to the same store on amazon's own web site . This time I emailed so there was a very clear paper trail. Again not delivered. I then had to pay for removers to pack given the very tight deadline I complained by email to customer services who could not have cared less. Emailed via CEO email addresses the head .same result as was true of direct emails to the head of amazon. I advised amazon I wanted to close my account and wanted the credit on the account. stonewalled . no reply. Amazon is very badly run in my view . avoid at all costs

Borderline FAKE News

They make the claim on their website that "Investigative Journalism and News in the Public Interest". But when I read their articles, the content appears wildly lopsided and their facts are murky, at best. I don't see how such crummy journalism from Renee Dudley (emphasis on "dud") and Jeff Kaocould (emphasis on "could") be in the public's best interested. I would argue the quality of ProPulica's content is a tightrope between reality and how they want to twist the facts - borderline fake news.

Absolutely Useless

Useless, incompetent, inaccurate, pathetic. So why does anyone bother listening to or looking a weather forecast in the UK as it’s so often completely wrong ?I also never understand why the BBC Weather App and the televised BBC weather forecast often don’t say the same things ? This is coming from the same source surely ?And they want a billion pound super computer to make it more accurate ? Better off picking up a piece of seaweed and it’s far more accurate and way less expensive

Disgraceful

Don’t use this company. Taken an auto renew for 3 years that isn’t authorised and never refunded me. Awful customer service and underhanded tactics so you can’t get a refund

Review of lego

The delivery process is poor

The delivery process is poor. Over two days to despatch goods. Then a further four days to complete the delivery. The only notification form Lego is when the goods are despatched. Tracking in Lego is not possible without an account. This is from the Global Brand of the year. Their delivery process is emphatically far from world class. They need to get it fixed.

Shame on you Samsung

I would leave -100 if I could. I have bought their phone, TV, Monitor, Fridge like a fool over the years. Their quality wasn’t that bad 10-15 years ago but as the years go by, it just becomes worse and worse. What a cheat of a company. Rubbing people of their hard earned money. Samsung never had a good reputation but, you took it to new heights. I will solemnly swear never ever ever ever buy one more shameful product of yours and will make sure to suggest the same to everyone I know.

Review of amazon

Appalling customer service, as usual

Ordered ink cartridges to print some medical documents needed tomorrow. Door knocked at 7.50am today (Sunday) so out of hours. Driver didn't wait until I got to the door. I opened the door and the driver was just about to pull away. She said she had put the item through a neighbour's letterbox. The neighbour is on holiday. The delivery confirmation stated the item had been handed to the resident (me). Amazon say nothing can be done until "after an investigation". "No replacement cartridges can be sent". "Its impossible". I cannot print my documents. Delivery was too early, driver did not wait for me to answer the door. Driver delivered item to wrong letterbox. Driver lied about delivery. Amazon has no solution. Amazon is utterly useless, their drivers lie, leave parcels on the doorstep where they are stolen, put them through the wrong letterboxes, fabricate the delivery. Meanwhile, one of the richest men in the world smirks.

Excellent

With so many options to choose from it can be overwhelming. Alibaba was great and the fact that they stand behind their platform and they rate their suppliers makes it easy to make a purchase with confidence.

All of the negative reviews are…

All of the negative reviews are correct. This is an absolute nightmare of a garbage website, rife with every kind of intrusive, browser cluttering script you can imagine. As soon as the page "loads" (which translates to 30 seconds of browser freezing and page skipping), you are bombarded with that stupid "this site wants to show you notifications" prompt, a newsletter sign-up field, a loud, auto-playing video, and ads, ads, ads. When you click the "X" on the intrusive video, it just takes you to another window. Scrolling down the page causes the browser to freak out while it tries to calculate all of the effluvium in the background sludging up the pipes. All I wanted was to peruse the website for information, but it is so unwieldy and patently obnoxious I exited out of it after 35 seconds, which was like a small eternity considering all of the above.Had a similar experience on Weather.com - another reprehensible mess of obstruction and meddlesome browser behavior. The one star is unsurprising. There are ways to make your site usable and effective without all of the insufferable trash picking at my eyeballs.
