I have been a scribd subscriber for about a year now. I will say the price is what has kept me a subscriber because I have had issues from day 1. I listen to audio books while working ,cleaning etc. I will start listening to a title or even sometimes finish a book and of course save it. 4 or 5 days after being told the books are available the puff disappear from saved and say available soon( a MONTH later). I contacted CS( customer service) several times as to why this keeps happening. I have been told several things from that's because it's only available in your area for a certain amount of time. They have to limit book access so the writers get paid fairly. I could go on and on. I understand all this however if I saved the book and or have read part or all the book. WHY can't you let us keep even 4 or 5 books. Oh and I should say I was told to Uninstall the app then reinstall ( lost all saved titles and history) twice. I could go on and on. Today however I got an email from Juan from am email I sent back on November 2/22 today is November 28/22. Fast I know lol. The response was HILARIOUS and I quote. " I'm the support manager for customer service. We are sorry you keep hitting a wall with our product. Our service is primarily for casual readers. It's not meant for power reads like yourself, who may be reading more then one book at a time. Or reading more often then once a week. We recommend trying another service that caters to power readers like yourself but we are happy help you cancel your account if it doesn't seem like the right fit for you"Best regards Juan ( Team Leader). OMG I laughed so hard at first the FANTASTIC cs. No answer for you but I can cancel your subscription. I thanked him for the laugh at his great cs. Scribd literally has on EVERY ad. Unlimited books and unlimited audio. No definitely NOT unlimited. I also am a subscriber to audible and its by far the better service however you pay for it. If another truly unlimited book subscriber service starts up in Canada I don't think Scribd will be in business very long. Good luck and happy reading/listening.

Recently bought a Business Office 365 Package from Microsoft. Having difficulty with the Authenticator, so locked out of certain functions that are critical for my small business. Tried to contact support, only offered an AI version, no humans. Still unable to use my MS Office Business products. Would happily migrate over to Google Sheets, etc. Will avoid using Microsoft and its laptops (I also recently bought a Surface) in the future.

My husband and I started service with Google Fi in October 2021 because I was impressed with the call-blocking feature of the service. After a year and a half of good service, we are suddenly living a nightmare. BOTH of our phones just blacked out and stopped working within a week of each other. Although we were given several options, the most logical one to go to a customer care location was nearly impossible because the only location we could go to was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too far for us to travel. We contacted Google Fi customer service and it took them a whole week before they would send us the return labels to return the phones to them. Since we didn't have the money at the time to pay in advance for replacements, we had to FIRST send back the broken phones BEFORE they would send us the replacements. They have now had our phones in their possession for over two weeks although we were told that it would only take them 3 to 5 business days to ship the new phones once they received the old ones. We were counting on that because of our business situations. It has been now going on four weeks since we had our phones!!! To date, they still have not shipped us the new phones. We had to FIND our old T-Mobil phones which are supposedly compatible to Google-Fi's network. THEY ARE OVER 4 YEARS OLD AND THEY SUCK!!! Half the time, we cannot get calls, make calls, and we barely can make or receive text messages. We were told that we have to wait for an email letting us know when the new phones have been shipped and to receive a tracking number. THIS HAS BECOME A NIGHTMARE! I have a home business and I have been in limbo for nearly 4 weeks waiting for Google Fi to make good on the service they promised. EVERYDAY I am on the verge of losing my mind and screaming at the top of my lungs because of the level of frustration that I have reached. My husband is as disgusted as he can get because he is in the same boat. The customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. They have no sense of caring for the customers' situation! They couldn't care less about whether or not you have the ability to communicate with the outside world because of your non-phone service. I can actually visualize them sitting around drinking coffee, chit-chatting and laughing with each other while a pile of broken phones sit piling up in the background. Their sense of urgency to satisfy the needs of customers and make their situations better is null and void. I will never recommend Google Fi to anyone I consider a friend or family member. It's almost a shame to say that I wouldn't recommend their service to my worst enemy. It's just too horrible to imagine.

Had an account with a few photos for sale on it until I was messaged directly from a fineartamerica account by a scammer which as it turns out from posts on the website has happened to numerous members. When I posted my scam experience I was met with ridicule by one of the moderators who accused me of replying to the email thereby giving the scammer access to my email account. How was I to know it was a scammer when the enquiry came from an apparently genuine member? Anyway this disgusting reply led me to closing my account just now. Avoid unless you want to get scammed! No security!!!update 30/11/24 and as you can see they don't even have the integrity to respond. It would make you wonder about the source of the positive reviews on here....

I came here thinking I might be in a minority - but no, the general consensus of most of the reviews here seem to agree with me. Even if their products are reasonably good, they are badly let down by their technical support. Huh! What technical support? They offer no valuable insight whatever. I bought one of their illuminated wireless keyboards - one of very few such products on the market, which is generally of good quality. I like the feel and functionality of the keyboard, but it wasn't behaving as it should. It started lighting up on its own, even when it wasn't being touched and programmed not to - and the lights staying on continuously - even though they are set to go off after 10 seconds (you can set the duration). I queried this with 'technical support' who advised initially to request a replacement. I did that, but the replacement behaved exactly the same. They advised I update the firmware. I did that. Still no luck. They advised I try installing it on another system. Alas, the problem persisted. By the time we had tried all these options, I was advised again to request a replacement etc. They don't read the previous correspondence, so I got the same old questions all over again. I could have tried all these 'fixes' myself. I was looking for some technical insight to help me diagnose the problem - but they are just drones sending out generic responses with no useful input whatsoever. Exasperated, and now given up hope, this review is my response. I don't expect anybody from the company will read it, much less care, as any company with one iota of conscientiousness would not allow a situation to persist where they are eliciting the lowest possible scores in customer satisfaction. That is a company that just doesn't care. Useless. Utterly useless.
