Review of xero
Please change the invoicing back to how it was.The original format was easy to use and I saw what my clients saw. The invoice creation page is TOO BUSY! Now I see what too much, there is no simplicity, there are more steps to go through in order to complete the invoice. There is no flow to the page and not efficient. With the update that has recently been done when my banking updates it is constantly creating duplicates which is also time consuming. Loosing my patients. If it's not broke don't fix it.

Review of shipstation
We use ShipStation for our WooCommerce website, and it has served us well for the past 5 years. The shipping rates offered are excellent, and the ShipStation interface is also, in my opinion, better than other ones we have tested, including Shippo and ShippingEasy. In the few times we have contacted customer support, they have been very responsive and actually addressed our concerns in a meaningful way. I would easily recommend it to anyone in need of a shipping platform.
Review of fiverr
I returned to try Fiverr after trying them in 2019 unsuccessfully. To say my experience this time is worse is an understatment! The customer service is utterly frustrating to deal with and they have a rather complicated system where the designer has to approve a cancellation. As a customer you have no rights so be aware. The designer that I chose was recommended by fiverr. This was a big mistake. This person was rude, uncooperative and quite frankly did not have a sufficient understanding of English. Repeated text messages explaining what I was looking for and requests for his advice were met with repeated request to send briefs, to which the work which I submitted was so bad that I had repeatedly asked the designer to cancel to which he kept refusing. I contacted the customer support on several occassions and TJ, Madeline and now Zazu keep asking me for the same information over and over instead of following up from where their collegues left off in an attempt to resolve the issue. Becuase I am so fed up and want this head banging back and forth to come to an end, I offered $25 as a gesture of goodwill with no request for the designer to deliver anything because quite frankly he has nothing to deliver. All designs and ideas were submitted by me to which he merely copied and pasted it into 'his' design. The designer has repeatedly refused to cancel the order and Fiverr operates that as a paying customer we need to prove that we deserve the refund. The designer now wants $40 to which I have no idea why. I've now asked for a full refund and will not be using this service and I highly request that you DO NOT Pay anyone until you know the person can understand English and what you require first!!! I have repeatedly asked the designer to stop wasting my time and he still, to this day insists on delivering work when I clearly DO NOT want to work with this individual after trying to get my design done since Feb 2025. Incredible and atrocious company to give your money to. Whilst I have complained to Fiverr customer service who are taking ages to resolve the matter, the designer has marked the project as completed and has all my money!!! And I have nothing, no designs, and a delay of almost 6 months. Awful, stay away folks.

Review of hotels
I did not receive a confirmation number when I made the reservation 2 weeks prior. I called a listed 800 number on the day of my reservation and they gave me a confirmation number, but when I got to the hotel they had no reservation listed for us. I had to get a 2nd room for the night. I have since tried to get a hold of a customer service rep, but I can’t without a confirmation number.
Review of google
Google Fi is an expensive phone service, based on my experience. Worse yet was the Google Fi phone (moto g power) that "worked" with the plan. Nothing but poor service that was expensive. Clueless customer service ready to heap the blame on the CUSTOMER!! I'll take credit for my mistakes. Problem was Google tried to make it ALWAYS my fault! So finally dumped their plan and went back to Consumer Cellular. MUCH better & cheaper!! Except I was stuck with my overpriced Google Fi phone, which doesn't work too well. Not sure if it because the phone is setup for Google Fi and doesn't work that well on other networks...In conclusion, the whole Google Fi experience was EXPENSIVE, VERY substandard and only served to push me further away from all things Google....
Review of freshbooks
I am getting nervous about using their newer version of Freshbooks. I had a very good experience for about 5 years with the service until transferring everything to a new version of the software. I have two business accounts, both had instances where the client was double charged via a recurring payment profile. I did not get a notification from Freshbooks and only found out later because one of the clients called our support line asking about an extra charge on their card. I may have to find a new solution if it keeps happening.
Review of duolingo
I tried duolingo to learn Italian. I had started with babbel but wasn’t getting it. With duolingo I started to learn. Then after unit 57 it just ended. Like now you know Italian but I did not. No response from duolingo. I went back to babbel and some of my learning from duolingo helped. I am currently using both babbel and Memrise and starting to understand more.
Review of doordash
I made a huge order through doordash from McDonalds. A couple of my items were missing from my delivered order. The missing items was an entire large meal plus an extra order of fries. I was charged for over 15 dollars for these missing items (im not including the costs of sales tax, delivery fees, doordash fee, and tip for the driver). I notified doordash, hoping they could re-deliver the missing items (at no additional cost to me), but they refused. Giving me only the option of doordash credits. Worse, they credited me only $6.17. Since they refused to have my (missing) food items sent to me, and since they made me accept their credits as my only option, I would think they would have to reimburse me in full. $6.17 in credits for something that cost me over 15 dollars just doesn't suffice. I appealed, and made a complaint and they bumped up my credit from $6.17 to $9.72. This still isn't a full, proper reimbursement. So, I kept on complaining to doordash, demanding they reimburse me in full. Their agents just would tell me things like they're kicking my complaint upstairs to their special team (assuming they even exist) and/or it would take 24 hours for a resolution, things like that. But I never heard back, let alone got my credits properly increased to what I'm truly owed. After getting a run around from one of their agents, I'd re-apply my complaint with a new agent. After a few times of this and not getting any resolution (well, according to them, they resolved my issue. But not properly according to me.), I finally threw in the towel. They just dug in their heels and refused to properly compensate me without openly saying so. I'm sure multi-billion dollar door dash (10 billion annual revenue. market cap: 71 billion) needs the 6 extra dollars they still owe me more than I do. Lousy crooks.

Review of highsnobiety
When I tried to return my hoodie that was too big, I was told the only way would be to go to the FedEx warehouse and hand it to them. The FedEx warehouse is outside of my city, over an hour away by car, which is ridiculous!! Julia, the employee who helped me, was genuinely useless, as she did not try to help me find a solution to this issue. This is ridiculous given that I have alreasy paid 50£ in shopping fees. DO NOT BUY if you live in the UK.
Review of eBay
I bought 7 items from the same company and asked the seller to combine the items in one box to save on shipping. She agreed and said don't pay when the auction ends, let me send you an amended invoice. OK, no problem. So the auction ended and Ebay auto deducted the payments within 15 minutes. Now I have to wait for a refund. When I sell an item on EBay they keep my money intil they decide I should receive it and it's a different excuse every single time.
