All good until you try to close the account. Took months and many, many phone calls and emails. Tried to close at the end of December and finally got it closed at the end of February after we were charged $262.00 for the year and 75.00. Then they said they would be charging us for 2 more months. Never will we use them again.

Review of woot

I wanted to give WOOT zero stars

If I could give WOOT a zero star, I would. I had the misfortune of owning a product that WOOT sells. It is a battery operated water tester, which appears with a photo on their website. It appeared that possibly the only way to change the batteries was to destroy the rubber feet that were hiding screws underneath. Before I attempted to do this I wanted to verify with customer service that this was the only way to change the batteries. I sent numerous emails to their customer service and support which were always replied with a form letter that had nothing to do with my query. After several times explaining the situation, I finally got a response that said they couldn’t help me unless I sent them an invoice proving I own the product. After several more emails I finally got a response that said to send them a link to their product on their website so that they knew what product I was talking about. I did send a link and that’s the last I heard from them. WOOT is probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. This all happened between mid-May and beginning of June 2025.

Unserious hiring process

My review has to do with their hiring process. Its just horrible and it says a lot about their corporate environment. You may be the greatest fit but they will never give you the chance to see you. They will ask you to record your 1’ answers on a video and then they will reject you within 10 minutes. This makes you feel akward and stupid. I ve worked in 2 titan multionational companies and this doesnt look innovative at all. You just filter out excellent candidates. Ps* I now see why you have so low median employees’ tenure.

A very good art website.

Have had and used a DeviantArt account for donkeys years (ever since November or December 2019 to be exact) and always had a good time. Just however out of nowhere in 2022 I slowly began to go on DeviantArt more frequently than expected. No wonder when I started acting like this but I think it was in May 1st of 2022, but I'll always have a soft spot for DeviantArt considering I quickly made many success with my XxTheGreat12 account and got many watchers.Only flaws are that approximately 39 of users here on DA are pedos or are problematic people/trolls. Don't know which one of these users (who unfortunately are still hopelessly problematic like that to this day), who I shall not name, and both have creepy OCs and make unsightly fetish art (especially of child characters). To make it exact the former's OC is of some cat with a blue shirt and the latter's OC is literally just an indigo recolor of a raccoon character from some random children's show.Despite these flaws, I continue liking this site and go on it everyday. I just hope this website one day starts to have less drama than ever, because, you see, hereby another flaw is that there is always lots and lots of drama on the site.

DO NOT BUY!!

DO NOT BUY!!! Half the time the game pass has issue. Xbox WiFi is some of the worst wifi you can have the displeasure of trying to use. It’s sad because I grew up playing Xbox and Xbox 360 but the glory days are long gone! Go PlayStation or pc if you want to game. Avoid Xbox if you want to enjoy gaming.

Gave a surprise brokerage charge after delivery

Absolutely infuriating experience. I ordered an Apple product within Canada, yet somehow UPS routed it through the U.S. without any notice and slapped me with a disbursement fee. I never agreed to international shipping, and yet I'm being penalized for their incompetence. This is nothing short of a scam. UPS is a poorly run, dishonest company that finds sneaky ways to gouge customers. I will go out of my way to avoid using UPS ever again. Absolutely unacceptable.

DoorDash has gone downhill fast

DoorDash has gone downhill fast! My wife and I run into issues placing an order every single time! We use three different payment methods, but they cannot be verified even though they are all in good standing. I called customer support this evening and that was even a hassle! I got the runaround and hung up on by their automated system. I called a second time, only to be emailed “troubleshooting steps” insinuating an error on my part (e.g., ensuring accurate card information). They are just lazy and don’t want to do their work!

Appalling rag written by work experience hacks who can’t spell, use correct grammar or know how to proof read. The articles are garbage. If someone doesn’t like your comment they will complain until you’re banned from the site, even though the person who complained is a serial commenter with a hundred aliases. But MOL could care about that. I’ve deleted the app and I’m so relieved to be done with this crap of a news site.

Terrible customer service structure

I have contracts for both mobile phone (for over two years) and wifi (for four months now). As I moved houses over a month ago, my wifi stopped working. I asked months in advance if I could install it myself and they said yes, i wouldn't need a technician. That was no true so I had to wait until someone came. There have been technics over the past months coming but for whatever reason (they don't speak English so I can't really say why), they haven't been able to install it. Their appointments are scarce, presumably because of Corona. So I've been booking over and over extra data because I need the internet for a thousand reasons including work. My invoice is obviously growing exponentially, like the virus more or less. I wanted to look for a solution in between, both because I had issues connecting to the hotspot and trying to figure out whether something can be provided given I'm paying both contracts and have zero internet at the moment. But the hotline is the worst I have ever come across. Is not the customer service people, they are good!, they do what they can, in their limited possibilities. Is the terrible infrastructure that Vodafone has built for customer service. I blame it in the corporate not in the customer service people.The line is terrible, it will not understand foreign accents, it will never lead you to where you want to call, I have been calling roughly 25 times, sometimes for hours at a time to get this issue solved. They cannot connect you to other departments. They cannot see x or y information (what is wrong with the system?). They ask you to dial back. The answering machine is useless. And I would absolutely love to cancel my contract but guess what, even though I haven't even been able to go online in my new house for months, I would have to attain to a three month cancellation period. Paying for nothing. I wish I had read the reviews earlier.
