Bea started drum lessons in July 2024 with the incredible Jimmy Bennington at the Guitar Center (2633 N. Halsted St - Central Chicago Store), and we couldn’t be happier with the experience!Jimmy is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also patient and funny, which makes every lesson enjoyable and engaging. He emphasizes building a solid foundation from the ground up, focusing on rudiments, rhythm, subdivision/counting, and voicings—skills that have been invaluable to Bea’s growth as a drummer.Thanks to Jimmy’s expert guidance and encouragement, Bea has already performed in two recitals! It’s amazing to see her progress and confidence grow in such a short time. We’re so grateful to have found such a phenomenal drum instructor. Highly recommend Jimmy for anyone looking to start or improve their drumming journey!We also purchased Bea’s first electronic drum kit at this store, and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout the process. The delivery was prompt and hassle-free, which made the experience even better.I’ve also bought my Gibson Les Paul ‘60s Standard and an Ovation Acoustic here, and every visit has been fantastic. I can't understand any negative feedback tbh.I did a mistake with my subscription plan, which was my own fault and instead of letting me down, within 24 hours the customer service (special thanks to Nandini again) replied to me and offered the best and by far most fair solution i could hope for, which is absolutely not the standard these days.I love the site and i think the service realized that and can now count on me as a loyal customer. Like my stocks, SA-subscription is a long-term hold.

I spoke to an agent about applying for a card. He sold me on the air miles reward system. I received the card and used it straight away. Made a purchase with my new American Express card and then paid that amount immediately. I tried to make a second payment and it didn't go through. The card had been blocked. I contacted American Express and they said they required bank statements from me to get the card unblocked. I forwarded the documents via PDF on email. 10 days later, no response. I called customer service and spoke to a person called Monique and she said that they tried to contact me on the phone but couldn't get through to me??? She then said that the documents I forwarded were in the incorrect format???? PDF wrong format???? It seems as though this is a common issue with ex American Express card holders.Honestly, I believe they got scared that a person can make a purchase for several thousand pounds and pay it off straight away and receive air mile rewards without much money earned from their side so they just blocked my card and then Monique had the bare-faced cheek to lie about trying to contact me and saying they couldn't download the PDF format documents I sent. Firstly, I emailed them and they could've easily emailed me back if there were any issues. Secondly, we are in 2023 and to say that can't access PDF files......that's how all financial institutes send me documents.They perform this charade with so many people. Very peculiar organisation.

Ok, I initially wrote a bad review for coursera. What I discovered was that the platform is counterintuitive. If you have an issue go to google and type in your issue, mine was “cancelled” so i typed in “coursera cancelled” and it brought up their help and support forums with previous answers, i found the answer there. If you are cancelled and already enrolled simply go into the course and click on a graded assignment. If its locked it will show you your options. But you have to go click on the submit button. So you have to fill in the assignment requirements first then attempt to submit, it says you cannot complete unless you pay X___amount. So a popup will come up inside there… it did for me at least. Try using their help forums… and go to coursera dot support forums… it’s very hard to find!! I’m us based here. Initially was a great experience but around mid june of 2024 I began experiencing issues with the platform right when i was almost finished with several courses in the specialization. First of all my work is being copied by other users and in one instance the platform flagged me as a fraud. I then resubmitted and had no issues. I have already obtained experience in the field but i need credentials to obtain a proper job and can not afford expensive schooling or training right now. I paid for my specialization and by the way nowhere on the platform does it provide prices or financial info for what i am paying for. They provided a price initially which i am now paying for monthly but at this point there is nothing to reference… smart coursera. What really sticks is that I am in the final module 98% done and they locked it. They then proceeded to raise the price from $50 to $80. and they tried to get me to sign up for a plus account. First it was pay only $1 then I received a marketing ad with a price with an inactive link so i could not click on it. So since i needed to submit my work on time to pass I did a free trial of plus as they are not accepting our payment. I am in a very intensive module and it’s important to submit on time or i can lose out to obtaining my credentials.Secondly, i am using the coursera ios app on my spouse’s phone because I recently was without one and finally got a new one. So the payment goes through his “iTunes” account and it’s impossible to switch it. I have updated my payment on the desktop platform and again tried through ios. The payment repeatedly failed. So we added more money to the itunes account and coursera proceeded to cancel my subscription and put me in audit mode. But there isn’t much transparency on my end. I can’t see why its in audit mode or if it means that there is a payment structure set up to begin again in the next billing cycle. I mean there is no option to pay now which is ludicrous and all it shows is the payment info entered nothing else. It says renew subscription and cancelled.This literally will help my unemployed family not have to live in poverty as we are running out of food and don’t receive unemployment. We have nothing. I actually went without gas this past week or two due to adding $50 for coursera which they did not accept.Therefore I am on a free trial plus subscription and had to cancel it, they offered me 50% off. I accepted but payment is now due july 2 which is past my due dates?? And i saw this information briefy show up on the site but then it disappeared. So I don’t know how to plan or what to expect. My grades are 97% and 100% and my work is professional level, i simply need my specialization certificate so Cal Arts will recognize it for the extended studies cert and i can also use it to enter into an mfa. I wouldn’t be on coursera if we weren’t laid off … i would be at parsons in person most likely paying thousands for a few courses. At this stage it seems that the learning platforms seem to all use similar deceptive billing methods and offer very little control to the user nor do they offer much transparency to the user. They favor the companies they partner with it seems. But i’m tired of being made to feel useless and at this point i will simply no longer invest my time or money into these types of products. I’d also like to know what components of the platform are outsourced and if they are India based as my spouse speaks fluent hindi… we did this with adobe as the person on the phone was indian and we found it to be very helpful in conflict resolution.

Not only they dont create a case, and they simply closed the case, and DID not bother to post it at all. Claiming that company in Vancouver . BC is correct. After few email exchange, they even admit that they follow other company policy Now i understand those review are faked, and BBB is funded by local business. So basically they care about the local business more than other. Go to wikipedia, they are tellling the truth, BBB are supported by local business. Basically its a show to make you feel that it is a neutral entity. In fact, they are giving bias to whoever paid more locally. If they are big or gave enough fund, they dont bother create a case, NOR POST that complain or view on BBB. Basically they will remove bad review on behalf of the business they support. Therefore BBB.org is NO longer a neutral. Hope more people can see it. I was searching for bad practice from google, i have to tried multiple times, and go back many pages. Finally found this page. Now i understand im not the only person found out bbb.org is not a neutral agency. We are all train to believe bbb.org is credible agency. In fact, they are helping those who funded them most to remove bad complains. So sad but truth until you found out the "neutral" bbb.org is not what most people think its. Hope more people realized, and found out the bad side of bbb.orgHave a good day for those see it here! :D
