Poor cancellation process

Poor cancellation processI signed up to use the app, but found it completely useless particularly for the crossword and couldn't access my account to cancel. I emailed customer care canceling the subscription and did not realise they had continued to charge me for 6 months! (my bad for not checking my bank statement). When I finally managed to access my account there was no facility or instructions on the cancellation process. Through the live chat I discovered they supposedly sent me an email telling me I had to call them to cancel. Like a previous reviewer, I have searched my gmail and found no such email. It seems very unfair, to make the cancellation process so difficult when signing up it stated you need to contact customer care. The woman who took my call did pass me onto customer care to negotiate a refund but at number 6 in the queue, I decided to cut my losses.For those who wish to cancel call 0800 018 5177 Option 3.

Well I uploaded like 4 documents for one document which I still did not get because it tells me to upload again after I've just did when I want to download. Also on the site it says if you upload 1 document you get the premium experience for 2 weeks please remove that or fix the issue because so far it is not true

DO NOT DO THE FREE UNLIMITED TRIAL

I did the free trial- which they stated they would remind me about 2 days before it would be a charged to my card. However despite logging into the app EVERY DAY- it NEVER reminded me and I was stuck paying for and ENTIRE YEAR. I emailed the company MULTIPLE times to get a refund, and they NEVER responded. So DO NOT ACCEPT THE FREE TRIAL UNLESS YOU INTEND TO BE CHARGED.

They all never send me or anybody to do survey after the phone call. Because they know they not doing their job. No one want to shop there no more if keeping like this.

AbeBooks is a platform for scammers and money launderers. There are thousands of sellers that have a 5***** ratings who will sell you a $10 paperback for $ 250'000, or more. I do consider myself an honest bookseller - and have not encountered any that are not. Still, what goes on on AbeBooks is a total scandal. The New York Times reported about it, countless forums describe how many despicable sellers try to cheat you. Their tricks are rather simple: get the book listed at "highest first" and put an outrageous price on it. Maybe some poor soul will fall for it, but mostly drug-pushing buddies can claim his/her money in a single strike: buy the paperback for $100'000, let the bookseller pay taxes on it and the money is clean. I have asked AbeBooks many times to stop this, but to no avail. Please contact your local authorities about this, so that AbeBooks will have to act.

Support is excellent.

Support is excellent.I could not find information anywhere on how to delete multiple account logins instead of one at a time. The reply from support was detailed and thorough and prompt.I have had no problems with operation of the app. It coordinates well from desktop to phone and tablet, and its secure password sharing when required is perfect.4 stars. Mainly because I just don't give 5.
