I seem to have mistakenly signed up for a free trial of the Times. Having received a notification to this effect I immediately followed the instructions and sent the details to the email address provided. Nothing happened, so after a week or so I sent another email. A few days later an email telling me I must call. Too late the promise of cancelling anytime before the end of the trial is a lie, it must be by telephone call within 15 days of the subscription renewal. After several minutes of pointless conversation about why I wanted to cancel I was 'read' the terms and conditions small print and told, basically, hard luck, we are taking your money. I have asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation, but we'll see if that arrives. Easy to sign up but almost impossible to cancel. It is a pretty awful paper too and clearly a pretty awful company behind it. Having dealt with so many good business who would simply have cancelled the payment I am unimpressed by the Times. If you stumble across a times article beware what buttons you press, you may regret it.

Temu is fraud. I placed order. It was marked delivered and I never received it. And it was hell expensive order. I reached out to customer care multiple times. But every time I got a reply that it is delivered. In fact no one attempted to reach out to me

GOG is my primary online videogame store. It deserves top ratings for one simple fact: DRM-free game installer downloads.While it's not quite on par with owning physical media, GOG is far superior to other rental platforms. If the other guys close shop or your account becomes compromised, you will quickly learn what it means to own nothing.

Ordered a salad from a merchant who knows me. She put a $10 gift card in my food bag and stapled bag 3 times over the receipt. I got the bag delivered by DD and it was not staples and no gift card. I called store. Manager blocked the driver and canceled the gift card. Yet DD won’t refund me for salad. I will not eat a salad in a bag that’s been gone thru by their driver. I am due a full refund. DD customer service has gone down hill. They need to put their self in the situation I am in. Would they eat food that was delivered after the bag has been gone thru by the driver ??!!

Even if the CEO expressly says what you're doing is okay in a public interview means nothing. Don't trust these morons with a dime, and especially don't trust them as a source of income for you.

I use Patreon to post contents for members. Overall, Patreon offers better functionalities for membership subscription (like videos, etc.). It only creates issues for me as regards payments/subscriptions. So, it's basically valueless to me.With more and more of my supporters became paid members, I found I actually couldn't withdraw the money via PayPal because they said my country is not supported. What a joke! I use PayPal every day and people pay me via PayPal since ages ago (at least over 20 years). Patreon is the only company that says I can't use it. Of course, there is another option, which is Payoneer, but they charge much more fees and monstrous Annual Account Fee ($29.95) for my country if I receive less than 2,000 USD!!! This is a complete rip-off. Then I decide to refund my supporters and pause billing. Strangely, new subscribers can still pay me and become paid members! This is very frustrating. Now I have to refund each time when someone pays me. Despite I write a pinned post telling people not to pay and unsubscribe from paid members, there are still remaining paid members. Probably they don't know how to unsubscribe.I hope Patreon can resolve such issues as soon as possible and I would be more than happy to change the rating.

Getting a terrible bug in Notion Calendar, can't use it at all. It's making running my business impossible. They haven't replied yet in 4 days. It's clearly a bug with their backend, I got the same bug on any device I try to use Notion Calendar. No matter OS, or Device I use. I can't use Notion anymore. This is a terrible user experience, and for a company like Notion it's definitely expected a much better support. EDIT: More than 1 Week Later, Multiple Bug Reports Submitted, Still ZERO help from the company. I guess they don't even have a support team at this point. I can't believe it.UPDATE: More than 2 weeks later, some support specialist has shown up and asked me to perform a task in notion calendar to send the bug report through their system. Ridicolously enough, there is a bug in that feature as well that's freezing up the app and it's impeding me to send them the bug report as requested. At this point it's clear that the Notion Calendar App/Integration is ran by a bunch of incompetent people that don't know what they are doing and don't care about the product or its users.UPDATE 2: More than 4 weeks in, still ZERO help. No suggestion on how to troubleshoot or fix the issue yet. None reaching out, other than low level employee saying "they are escalating the task to the support team". This is absolutely INSANE!Please don't use Notion if you have a business.If you wish to write a guide on "How to turn raving fans into your worst haters..." ask Notion. They are top performer at that!

Tried to receive a statement from this bumbling bank in order to pay my balance. After several months of attempts, a statement came 2.5 months after persistent requests. I paid the four-figure balance the day I received the statement in full.Now comes the pay off, notification to the credit bureaus, that my bill was paid late, with the damage lowering credit rating. I closed my acct immediately, but Capital One cannot seem to get the message.Since their billing was incorrect, I have a small balance which they seem unable to write a refund for.I wrote to the CEO, but he seems to be on a permanent vacation as some underling returned a form letter denying all responsibility. Disputing the down grade to the credit bureaus, resulted in the Bank verifying the untruth, that they created.If you choose to do business with this bank, you will learn your lesson!
