Tried to receive a statement from this bumbling bank in order to pay my balance. After several months of attempts, a statement came 2.5 months after persistent requests. I paid the four-figure balance the day I received the statement in full.Now comes the pay off, notification to the credit bureaus, that my bill was paid late, with the damage lowering credit rating. I closed my acct immediately, but Capital One cannot seem to get the message.Since their billing was incorrect, I have a small balance which they seem unable to write a refund for.I wrote to the CEO, but he seems to be on a permanent vacation as some underling returned a form letter denying all responsibility. Disputing the down grade to the credit bureaus, resulted in the Bank verifying the untruth, that they created.If you choose to do business with this bank, you will learn your lesson!
