Decent website with the worst customer service ever, support tickets seem to never be answered and free trials lead to year long subscriptions that lead you on to wait for the hope of a refund. Sent a support ticket about 4 days ago and haven't gotten any sort of response.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western @ 503 Washington Ave, Kingston, NY, US.I must say it was absolutely disappointing.The last time I was at this location was when it was the Holiday Inn. Since the Best Western took over, there has been some dramatic changes. Including but not limited to:•Outdated decor (20+years old)•Must odor throughout the building including rooms.•Very dirty,outdated dining room seating & decor.•Overcooked,undercooked,cardboard tasting food.•Very limited menu.•Side entrance doors are supposed to be locked with access only via key card but everday we were there I saw the door consistently being held open with a gadget where by giving entrance to anyone that could walk right in without being noticed,•My daughters and I went to use the pool and there were a bunch of men standing by leaning over the pool walls watching us.•There was no security guard available.•After speaking with locals, we have learned that the Inn has become a place where undocumented workers are allowed to be housed.•There was no lifeguard available.•Bedding appears to be outdated. Like they just rewash or reuse stained sheets.•There are two vending machines for an entire building. (over priced)•There is now an awkward wall built in the center dividing the food area from the rest of the main building making everything feel so closed in.•Landscaping to this place is absolutely horrible.•Driveway is cracked and old.We chose this place with the idea that it was going to be as inviting as it was when it was the holiday Inn. Boy were we so incredibly disappointed.We will never return here. It seriously needs updating and cleaning and better safety measures put in place.

The product is great and there is a small jump from free to $5 a month but the jump to the next price point for a small business who will use it occasionally is too much. Its cheaper to use fiverr.com and pay an extra $5 for a 720p high def video that doesn't have anyone else's brand on it unless you are doing more than 3 videos a month every month of the year. Another product for those of us who are not pros around the $15 price point would have $5 subscribers upgrading in droves! More business templates would be helpful too.

I feel Discrimination towards UK Amazon customers from Amazon customer support services against UK Amazon customers.We Amazon customers in the UK are clearly receiving a poorer and substandard service , if in-fact you can discribe amazon as any kind of service as currently Amazon customer service is no service at all, i have experienced shocking behaviour from amazon customer service agents , discriminative behaviours , racism, rudeness and nasty impolite behaviour I would expect from a 2 year old and not an Amazon customer service agent or supervisor, substandard goods , excessively poor service from Amazon UK in general .This poor service provided by amazon and Amazon customer support agents is very clearly targeted at UK and British customers and more so within the last few weeks to months, What’s worse Amazon customer support system and agents are attempting to hide the fact that they are providing the UK with a substandard service if any service at all, they are excluding the uk customers from ability to access customer support when required, preventing chat features, refusing to resolve or help UK customers with issues which are Amazon’s fault and due to incapability. Yet these customer agents are getting paid by Amazon to treat its customers in such poor , distressing, alarming and discriminatory ways. How can Amazon get away with this? Why would a company like amazon hire agents who behave in such a manner provide a service which makes amazon look more like an uncivilised monster than a respectable supposed civilised company. But maybe Its expecting too much to expect a decent service and to be treated as a human let alone a good honest customer from a company who indulge in tax evasion and have the morals of a baboon.

Dear Academia Team,I signed up on your site last year for a research project. Since then, I have not used their site anymore, and saw today, that I 158€ were deducted on Paypal. I canceled the subscription immediately and have not used it for a year. That I had to pay 90€ last year and now almost double is not okay for me. I would like to have my 158€ back , otherwise I have to go to the bank because money was debited without my consent.

I tried to cancel and get a refund online but the bot told me I had to call. The support person was just doing their job trying to offer deals. I just needed my refund - quick and simple. The customer experience would have been a lot better if I could have requested the refund online.

I really appreciate Dropbox having just used OneDrive for a couple of weeks which was a disaster.I'd used free Dropbox for a few years without issues and was running out of space so moved all my files to my 1TB OneDrive but had lots of problems, so have upgraded to a paid Dropbox account and moved my files to that.My only issue with Dropbox is it's really confusing to cancel your paid plan, hence 4 stars not 5.

Purchased a toilet riser from Amazon. Needed right away, so ordered with PRIME. SIX days later, I was issued a refund because UPS lost it, and I was advised to reorder. Took a week, item refunded. Repurchased item. I AGAIN have screenshots of where the product listed the item as “fits most toilets” AND “open box-like new” which was described as “minor cosmetic damage”.The item arrived within 24 hours this time. Great, because I NEEDED it a week ago! Opened package, after noticing that it is CLEARLY stated on the box that it is for ELONGATED toilets. I picked the “universal” seat because I have both types of toilets, plus I need this for travel. Continued to open, only to discover DRIED FECES & URINE all over the item!! This is NOT ONLY what was described, but it’s LITERALLY A FREAKING BIOHAZARD!! Spent over an hour on the phone with “customer service”. Was transferred 3 times, because apparently there isn’t a department that specifically deals in CRAP and BIOHAZARDS. Uploaded multiple photos, which even the rep agreed were DISGUSTING!!Resolution? “Return for refund, and NOT TO ORDER “open box” items, NOR items from AMAZON RESALE”. [Full disclosure: I DID click the link for “lower prices from other sellers”, to save over $15. HOWEVER, I DID DO due diligence, screenshot ALL relevant descriptions, and it was described as “Open Box - LIKE NEW” and as “fits MOST toilets”, and BOTH were BALD-FACED LIES!!] I did not notice that the seller was Amazon Resale, BUT that does NOT mean they can BLATANTLY LIE and SEND BIO-HAZARDOUS MERCHANDISE TO CUSTOMERS!!So there you have it, DIRECTLY FROM Amazon “customer service”: “DON’T BUY OPEN BOX OR AMAZON RESALE ITEMS! ONLY BUY NEW, INFLATED PRICE ITEMS”, or BUYER BEWARE!!Also, I found it interesting I was NOT able to leave a review on Amazon once the BIO-HAZARDOUS item was in a return status. So, if you receive something that is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, you might review it FIRST, before initiating the return. No guarantee they won’t still take it down, but that’s why sites like TrustPilot are here!!

"Wired" seemed to be an interesting place to stop in the online world - but this statement is simply wrong. The website rated the title "Hogwarts Legacy" 1/10 - which wouldn't be anything bad, after all, everyone has the right to their own opinion - but here the only arguments the author gave were simply that she doesn't like J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the universe as a whole - which has nothing to do with the game itself. In general, the author didn't write a single word about the game itself and PLAYING! As a result, this title - which deserves at least a 7/10 rating - received an unjust, unwarranted score that puts it on par with the worst titles in the video game industry. Remember, 1/10 is the complete bottom, a game with a broken mechanism, graphics, music, and basically everything. "Hogwarts Legacy" is definitely not like that. The author should vent her frustrations elsewhere, but certainly not by reviewing the game.
