I have been reading all of the negative…

I have been reading all of the negative reviews with some element of surprise as for over 20 years using this service i`ve been totally satisfied. I`m also surprised that outlook has not responded to any of the critics.HOWEVER, one thing that does annoy me is the amount of scam/spam/phishing email that keeps coming into my junk email box and, is now "leaking" into my focused box. Some of these scam emails are widely known, example, "screwfix, costa, and starbucks, so why do you let these emails continue?.I am constantly reporting other emails as phishing/spam/scam emails but they just keep on coming back.So please please do something about this, at your end this should be simple----No?

Review of freshdesk

Hidden advertisement - not visible from the beginning

I used the trial version of freshdesk in my company. The program seemed somehow well, but the way it is organised it slightly chaotic. E.g. when a client replies to an old email the ticket does not appear at the top but somewhere in between the old mails. Therefore it is difficult to catch up with the latest emails.

However the main problem arised after the test version was over. With the free plan (up to 3 agents) every email has a link to freshdesk saying: "my company name powered by Freshdesk".
This was not visible from the beginning and as my company is working with big customers we do not appreciate this.
Now after using Freshdesk for over 6 weeks I have to go back to our old outlook system, catch up with the mails of the last 6 weeks, educate our employees to again change back to the old system. So it takes a lot of work, for no advantage.

Therefore I recommend: If you are planning to use freshdesk, set up the system only for yourself. Test it for over a month and be sure that you like it before implementing it in your company

Impossible to cancel....

An acquaintance requested my assistance, because he managed to get a subscription in seconds and cancelation is impossible to without going through an (English-only) call center. Call center is relevant for 2 reason. They serve international customers and are reported to have massive queues (crazy phone bills). They serve international customers and their call center only speaks English, making it impossible for users who use translation tools (but can't actually speak English) to use the website to cancel.I wouldn't believe a news source could stoop so low be among these companies that make unsubscribing so difficult.

Review of temu

I never received my package and Temu refused to hel

I ordered products from Temu and they were marked as delivered, but I never received anything. I live alone and wasn’t home at the time of the supposed delivery. I contacted my neighbors, and no one received anything for me.I contacted Temu multiple times, opened tickets, and waited days for responses, but I only got the same answer: “It was delivered.” No proof of delivery was provided, no one signed, and I still lost over €80.Their customer service has been unhelpful, and I now regret trusting Temu.I hope others will be careful. This is not how a company should treat honest customers.

Review of squarespace

Good luck trying to get your site to look like the samples...

I would first like to say that I love the concept of Squarespace, and think the control panel, analytics and pricing are all fantastic. However, the execution is a bit off target, and the example sites for each template are misleading. It is impossible to get your site to look like the example sites without modifying the CSS, with the sidebars in particular being a problem.

Examples include: ugly bullet points in the tag index, poor spacing on section headers, bad font sizing and spacing on taglines and site descriptions, clipped images in sidebar, I could go on.

Support have been very friendly and responsive, but can suggest no better solutions than applying custom CSS, which is of course "not supported".

Unusable for us in its current form, but would definitely be back if these issues were resolved.

My Business Was Gone, Don Not Consider Them

They completely ruined my business. I changed the nameservers from the dashboard, and it seemed simple at first. However, the nameservers never actually updated on their back-end. After waiting five days, support finally responded and changed the nameservers, but the issue still wasn't resolved, even after I waited 10 more days. When I tried to revert to the default settings, I couldn’t because of constant error messages. I was stuck.Their support is mostly automated, with irrelevant replies that don’t address the actual issue.Even when I tried to transfer the domain to another registrar, I got stuck again because the authentication code wasn’t sent. I had to reach out to support, which was once again useless. The real problem with SquareSpace is that they know about these issues but don’t take action. They could at least have a proper support team to follow up with customers, but all you get is the generic: "We're currently receiving a large volume of requests."

Review of sitepoint

Blind leading the blind

This review is written on behalf of individuals running the community forum. Take everything said on the community forum with a grain of salt. The community is run by authoritarians who play programmers but lack professional experience. These individuals are heavily biased to outdated technology and practices. Opposition to their small minded way of thinking is likely to lead to a ban. Unless you want to wake up one day unable to login without reason stay away. I would also recommend boycotting the books and resources considering Sitepoint HQ condones this type of abusive, bullying behavior by staff members.

Review of garmin

Never again

I have had a Vivoactive HR for a while now and have had a number of issues in reconnecting after recharging the device. The latest time has taken over 6 hours. I have to do this every week. It's completely ridiculous. So many models and versions, yet looking at their for a it looks like that they are just out to dish out new devices and don't care to make any of them actually work reliably. Definitely the last time I buy a Garmin device.

Couldn't use my gift card

Really frustrated you can make partial payment with a gift card. This is 2020. If you can't figure out partial payment, you don't deserve to stay in business.

Review of notion

DO NOT UPGRADE

You'll not be able to downgrade and you'll get charged. I explored notion 3 months ago, they gave me some credits to activate my plus plan which I did and then I wanted to cancel because I wasn't using Notion at all. There is no plan downgrade button, I email them, they said I need to install their app to be able to downgrade. I installed the app, there's no plan downgrade option neither.3 months after, I just got charged now ,...Straight robbery ....

They only change when you hurt there bottom line.

If you haven’t download the app yet and haven’t given your information away, then please, don’t do it now. Once the information is out there, it’ll be there for ever, out there for everyone to purchase. They don’t care about privacy as long as they get away with it.
