Misleading Listing – Received a Used and Damaged Product!

I purchased an MSI Ventus 3X 4070 Super graphics card from Amazon, listed as brand new and priced accordingly. However, what arrived was anything but new. The box was in terrible condition, and the GPU itself showed clear signs of previous use. This was not a case of "damaged in transit" but rather a misrepresented, second-hand product sold as new.To make matters worse, Amazon only offered a 10% refund, treating this as a minor issue rather than acknowledging the blatant misselling of a high-value item. This is completely unacceptable for a platform that prides itself on customer trust and product authenticity. After reflecting on the situation, I decided to return the item for a full refund. I am now stuck in a two-week refund process, which I deem incredibly unfair considering I initially paid a hefty £842.75. This has had a detrimental effect on my ability to replace the GPU, especially given the global shortages of this chip.Buyers beware—if you're purchasing expensive electronics from Amazon, be prepared for the possibility of receiving used goods at new prices. I expected better from a company of this scale. This experience has seriously made me reconsider purchasing high-value tech from Amazon in the future.#FalseAdvertising #AmazonFail #UsedNotNew

Shaun

My grandma was about 2.5 hours from home this weekend with my 4 kids and I when our tire blew. We called AAA to help us, it was Sunday and our car did not come with a spare. Since we had 6 people on our car we couldn't get a tow anywhere. We had decided on getting the tire off and to a Walmart so I could buy a new tire and then returning and putting it back on. That was at 5:00 PM Sunday April 21st. My husband decided that he would drive to us when the first two truck called and said they couldn't find us. Turns out that even with GPS location and a fairly specific description of where we were (highway x between town y and z, eastbound approximately 30 miles from town z), they had entered our location wrong and the tow truck was approximately 80 miles away. So the tow company told us they would cancel the call and to call AAA back. I called my husband, who then said he would come because he was pretty sure they wouldn't be able to get to us in time, so he started the 2.5 hour drive to us. I called AAA and moved my car up about .5 miles to see the exit sign. I explained they had our location wrong and that it was now 545 PM and the service center would close at 7. My new location position was sent by GPS link plus my description of highway x between town y and z, approximately 30 miles from town z beside exit xyz. They said they'd put a rush on it and let us know. We waited 2 hours. It was 7:15, no hope of getting the tire fixed now, I called AAA once again and they didn't even have a open claim for us! At this time they decided to set up an unattended tow and have me leave my keys with the car, they were still planning to tow it to a Walmart and since my husband was coming to take us and my 4 kids home we told them that wouldn't work anymore. They asked where the best place to tow it was and we told them to our home shop so they could fix the tire. Problem is it is 137 miles from where we broke down so we were going to be responsible for about $260 to get it home. So not only are paying to get us home and for a tire (which we were planning for anyway) we have the added bill because AAA screwed up twice! They had to call back 3 times to verify the location of the car, as they STILL had the wrong location on it, and the best part is that my car is STILL sitting on the side of the road unattended with the keys in it! They still have not towed it anywhere, they don't even have a tow truck lined up, and I don't even know if it is still there as I'm 2.5 hours away! Almost 24 hours later, nothing has been done, we're going to be out good chunk of money, and if we hadn't had another car we would still be sitting on the side of the road with 4 kids and nothing to eat or drink for 24 hours. I am very unsatisfied and will let everyone I know of this terrible experience as we have been told several times there is "nothing they can do" to help with any of this. Why would anyone pay for a service like this? This is my wife's post. When you pay for a service you expect result in a timely manner. I'm glad I got there to pick them up at 9pm wish it was sooner by this time it was already dark. They finally picked up the van this afternoon but ended up costing us $300 to pay for the milage they cover under "policy". Very displeased with this type of service. I give AAA an F for this transaction not only did your associates fail to provide service not once, but 2 times. I will be calling the corporate office to pull the phone records and to attempt to reimburse our tow fee. Never would of got this fare if service was provided the first call that was made.

Stayed with group at Croydon Aeroport…

Stayed with group at Croydon Aeroport Hotel, Friday 9 July to Sunday 11th. Not impressed with room 🙁. Clothes hanging consisted of two lengths of rail protruding from wall (loose at one end) over the kettle on the worktop. Luckily didn't need to use the kettle. Shower didn't operate so used the deep bath which was hilarious trying to extricate myself. Torn curtain with hooks hanging loose. Some serious maintenance required in this room. The staff were brilliant, Andre and Katie are to be commended for their professional and pleasant attention. Would not wish to return.

Review of target

All in all, id def order again using Target online...

Well this was tough to rate but basically my 1st exp ordering online with shipping was good took longer than they said cupl days to receive. But the 2nd time ordering was kinda bad. It might be related to black Friday being in such close proximity to when I ordered. But my order got split rt away into 2 separate orders. Then the est delivery date just hung there in limbo past the est ship time which forced me to fall since I confirmed the shipper FedEx hasn't actually picked up anything yet. Upon calling Target the customer service was actually really great. They a real person no less from what I could tell answered rt away & fairly quickly noticed the prob. She placed me in a brief hold & easily refunded the entire order to reorder everything for me which was super cool. She placed my order once again & I was able to see things quickly move thru the norm channels like they were supposed to without getting stuck. She also honored the great prices I got by ordering when I did which I got a cupl then gd at crazy low prices cuz of the blk Friday type sales they were having. They honored all pricing again & my order was received on the est delivery date by FedEx who was also good about keeping their online info about my shipment up to date & accurate a huge plus. It was down to the min updated the whole time & they allowed text or email motivations if u signed up online with the track # so it was excellent that part. The stuff I ordered met expectations but honestly the sizing of things were bigger than I expected. I was gladly surprised considering I got the feeling maybe I was paying slightly more for everything in general had I actually been in store buying it all but this was just the feeling I got (never actually verified this). It just felt like I wasnt getting nearly as much stuff with my amt of cash usually I had that day if I had been in store buying it all but it was just a feeling that's it. Anyway the bath & beauty stuff that did arrive was large size versions of things which that could certainly b the reasoning for the higher price feeling I got at checkout looking back at things now. The shampoo cond facewash & a cupl other beauty bottles I thot I ordered were def value sized options which I didn't know that ordering. Online shopping kinda sucks when it comes to size comparing cuz u really gotta be a numbers person to actually get the real feel on what ur ordering & getting which I'm not at all a numbers chick. I learned that I go by actual visual size shopping for things & use visual comparison when choosing a product to buy in store. So it's blind feeling when online. I usually get shocked by size of a cupl things good & bad but most good when I actually get everything so it's a good not bad thing most orders. The Target app itself is good & really easy to nav. It could b generally better even suggesting & learning based on my shopping nav history I think. Wish I could turn this off completely honestly. But gats with Amy all that uses the AI learning & based ur history off this in its suggesting going forward. They all pretty much blow in this area impo to b frank. All in all the shipping exp was good & id do it & will probly be an online shopper going frwd after everything. Their customer service exp esp with a bad order that fell thru has to b the reason behind me feeling that comfortable to continue ordering online. So ty for seeing priority in things that matter to me. Cuz I'm very aware of how that order getting stuck could've certainly turned into a huge nightmare using other apps so it's noticeable certainly and worth noting.. product selection was excellent had no prob finding anything. Product reviews are magic & are very similar to how Amazon has grown into that section was beyond helpful & really awesome. It totally lent to which products I actually choose to buy in the end but I even learned a cupl beauty tips from ppl in reading em all during my shopping so that was rad. And companies were generally great at replying to customer questions about their products in that same section. That was equally radAF. Id def order again & will b.

100% would not recommend PlayStation

You spend how much in games etc and when you need support you wait for ages. 3 attempts to contact customer support and every time it stated less than 10 minutes to wait for an advisor but I waited over an hour every time and still never got to speak to anyone.

Review of musescore

Stay away!

Stay away! If you want to purchase a music score, as I have now done, you are automatically signed up for a subscription service without being asked. After a 7 day trial period, which will happen without you knowing, you are then locked into paying for their subscription service. You can complain and show screen shots about the complete absence of any information about the subscription service. They'll write to you and say it's in our fine print. If you're lucky they will refund some of your subscription costs - not all of it. What angers me too is the loss of time with complaining/requesting a refund for what amounts to robbery. There not a word of the subscription when you click 'buy' the music score. Very dishonest and they know that they'll probably get away with it since time is money. What a shame I can't give them 0 stars.I have now read some of the other reviews and have to say, the MuseScore replies which sound like: "we strive to provide a transparent and fair trial experience" are insulting (I refer to the reply to Jim's GB 1 star review). If this is happening over and over, it is quite obviously part of their business model to scam people. 1477 one star reviews (50%) does not happen by accident, you have to significantly annoy people to get them to take time out of their day to express their negative thoughts en masse in online reviews. If you want to offer a product, then offer the product with a price tag. I happily pay for services (Sibelius for example) which are actually transparent. Muse though is just scamming, the replies are completely disingenuous, read them for confirmation. In response to their response: that's not true. Informed authorization can only occur if one is informed of what is being initiated. If you're presented with a 'buy score' button with no mention of a subscription, one will be incapable of authorizing what one is not informed about. Furthermore, the "informed authorization from the cardholder" line trying to imply that someone other than me initiated this stupidity is gaslighting and shameful. The support team is available to inform me I should have scoured their terms and conditions page before buying a 7 euro score. I have reached out to them and they are keeping as much money as they want to and most certainly haven't resolved the issue. Shameful business practices confirmed by 1477 one star reviews. They're not sorry at all, their robbery has resulted in a net financial gain for them. Congratulations. Copy/pasting platitudes has zero sincerity.

Review of amazon

Amazon has gotten too bad to use anymore

I ordered 10 items to build a computer on a Tuesday with an expected delivery of that Friday. Packages were not shipped until a day later even though I contacted customer service to cancel. They arrived the following Wednesday when I wasn't home after I had gone out and purchased the products elsewhere. Now I need to return them, and I won't have time for that for days. It's been about 18 months since I have had a good interaction with Amazon. I will no longer do any business with them.

Review of care

Care.com was an absolute waste of…

Care.com was an absolute waste of money. When setting up the ad, I said specifically what I was looking fo in a housecleaning service. Then, by the time care.com abbreviates your ad the very specific important details have gone missing because they use a form ad that does not include the details. It was very frustrating and difficult to communicate with people who responded to the ad. I was not able to have anybody respond who was a good match because some of the details of the ad were missing. I contacted them and asked them for a refund and the customer service was extremely slow and they were unhelpful. Do not waste your money here. The site is really a piece of garbage.
