I purchased an MSI Ventus 3X 4070 Super graphics card from Amazon, listed as brand new and priced accordingly. However, what arrived was anything but new. The box was in terrible condition, and the GPU itself showed clear signs of previous use. This was not a case of "damaged in transit" but rather a misrepresented, second-hand product sold as new.To make matters worse, Amazon only offered a 10% refund, treating this as a minor issue rather than acknowledging the blatant misselling of a high-value item. This is completely unacceptable for a platform that prides itself on customer trust and product authenticity. After reflecting on the situation, I decided to return the item for a full refund. I am now stuck in a two-week refund process, which I deem incredibly unfair considering I initially paid a hefty £842.75. This has had a detrimental effect on my ability to replace the GPU, especially given the global shortages of this chip.Buyers beware—if you're purchasing expensive electronics from Amazon, be prepared for the possibility of receiving used goods at new prices. I expected better from a company of this scale. This experience has seriously made me reconsider purchasing high-value tech from Amazon in the future.#FalseAdvertising #AmazonFail #UsedNotNew
