Do not trust products or services promoted by Indiegogo as these are completely not subject to any overview, warranty, guarantee, or any other form of oversight that would ensure that you would ever obtain the product you backed. Indiegogo does not provide any guarantees that you will ever get the product you backed or that the backed product will be what you paid for. I have been waiting for a couple of products for well over 12 months and I now can't even get updates on when the products will be shipped, let alone arrive at my door. Since MOST of the products are made in China, you are at the mercy of the Chinese government's policies or dictations. Also what you may believe is a state-of-the-art or breakthrough product, may be obsolete or copied by other more reputable manufacturers by the time you receive yours. I'm thoroughly disappointed with Indiegogo and other such companies as there is no oversight or control over their actions, their processes, or their promotions. They only want your money and do not have to provide anything in return.

I ordered Sony buds and Amazon arrived they would be delivered at 8pm on 18 December. Around midday, when I wasn't at the delivery address, your delivery person phone our building manager, apparently looking for me. The building manager told the caller that he normally took deliveries on my behalf. The driver told our manager that he wouldn't leave them with him. When I returned from teaching at my university, I waited in from around 3pm for the delivery. I then saw an email from Amazon, that was sent on the same day, saying I needed to provide your driver with a code number. This must be a new procedure because I've never heard of it before. If I would have been advised before the delivery date, I could have made appropriate arrangements. I have since tried to cancel the order, but your system requires the product to be returned, which is not possible because I didn't receive them in the first place.

EDIT: Since taking this complaint further up, and speaking to a new customer adviser, Shopify have rectified the issue and have been very prompt in doing so. Unfortunately, it's a case of "a little too late" as the initial agent was so awful to speak to that my whole experience with them is tainted. I have changed my initial rating from 1 star to 3 stars to reflect my appreciation for them resolving the matter. Initial review: Horrible, incompetent customer service that makes the cost of the service completely irrelevant. They are very rude and take ages resolving issues. Please avoid, I've never had experience with a more rude set of customer agents.

Absolutely disgraceful amd ignorant customer service. I bought 1 year subscription in 2022. In the mean time they changed it to auto-renew without letting me know. So they charged me again in 2023 and 2024 without mu authorisation. No emails nothing. Never sent copy of receipt. All my emails and phone back requests have been ignored after I replied to Rossele's email. Been buying their cameras for years. Never again

I had an Etsy account in 2009 and did not use it again till 2024. I got into crochet so I found some patterns from some very talented individuals so I bought several and they successfully went to my email and I was billed. I went in later to use the patterns and they will not allow me to see them. I went to reopen my account it said it was an invalid password so I tried to create a new one and it wouldn’t let me. It said I violated terms and was notified in 2009 (almost 16 years before) and I should know why. I didn’t. I was very careful to honor their terms and conditions when I used their site. I tried resetting my password to contact support. It would not allow me to, saying my account was suspended. So, I tried to file a claim, it said my account in question did not qualify for a claim. That’s when I contacted Etsy support from my second email and explained my problem and they would not help. They kept saying, after a couple tries to explain, that they really needed me to contact from that email in question so I explained to them I was well aware of that and that’s what I was trying to accomplish. Now it says I can’t purchase from any account I create and I am still at a loss as to why. They were not polite or helpful. They took my money and will not reimburse or ask about the payment method used or try in any form to help me work with them to satisfy the problem. If you are a seller, I would question how much more business can you get if they were easier to work with.

I would give them a zero if I could. I bought a chair 2 years ago from this poor excuse of an online company. Check their reviews from customers and see how many low ratings they get. They DO not stand behind their customers. I am out 75.00 that was never resolved from a purchase I had made. Etsy claimed they were working on it and there was a work order number. I was waiting for it to go thru and my contact with them petered out. I gave up. The company I bought from never contacted me. I never received the chair . The Etsy site claimed that the chair was out of stock. Then I found out that they were going out of business. THEN I discovered the same chair back for sale from this company and no going out of business. I have never bought anything from Etsy again and never will And please don't give a little AI bot response.
