We have booked and stay at 1 of the resort at Muskoka from 8th to 11th Dec 2023. Till now, we didn't receive our security deposit refund! We had a series of inbox messages communicating with Mike / Brittany regarding this and even had a phone call with VRBO support team. Told us it will take 10-15 business days (regular) and 4-6 weeks (peak period)! But it is already more than 18 weeks and today (8th April 2024), I receive a message saying the owner is not longer with VRBO group! I believe this VRBO group is totally a scam or spam even if we had stayed the premise, security deposit is not refunded at all!.I would then further post this up onto the online compliance team to bring this up so that it will prevent this from happening anymore. We as consumers are at the mercy of this kind of scam group

Not a free speech site and they can shut down your account without valid reasons. If you're an active replier they shut down your account even if you've said nothing to offend or be against account rules. I'm lucky if I can get more than 3 months out of one account. It takes so little to offend people. The whole up vote and down vote system needs to go. Reddit didn't use to have it but now they do. This can really muck up an account quickly. Some threads = instant ban on reddit for even just replying to them or posting on them. This shouldn't be. Reddit is there for public use not for private company or city use. Mods on sites have too much power and can ban people for excessive posting or even just one reply. The mods on my work thread allow a bunch of b.s. to be said but if you so much support company values or management they ban you like that. Mean while you have posts of customers picking fights with employees and vise versa, people harassing each other and customers bit-ching about this or that in a rude tone. During covid I got addicted to reddit and I'm trying to find other things to replace it with. The problem is it's difficult to break a habit you created over 2+ years and it takes but typing the letter r in your browser to take you there. Reddit's bbb review is literally an F- and I can see why. The whole website should be shut down. I had to change my router ip because they banned it. Not my fault you jack @$$es keep making me go through accounts. My replies are very civil and should not yield banning but they do.

The hotel was near to the town center and restaurants. What we didn't like when we arrived was to see dogs were allowed to stay,not one, not two,but many. The evening we arrived we dropped things off into room and went out for a meal. The next morning waking up in the hotel my husband was sneezing and had a blocked nose and this went on for the 3 days we were there. My husband said he didnt feel ill or have a cold. But we then realised it was the dogs that he had an allergy to as soon as we left the hotel he was fine. We did mention this to the reception upon leaving and we were told the dogs are allowed are floor 2 and 3 and guess what floor we were on 2. We came home to check where it says dogs are allowed on the booking. We found that you had to go on the web page and click facilities. Our argument is that most people unless staying in a spa hotel just what to choose their bedroom and don't both with the full list of facilities. It she be on the header for hotel saying that it is a pet friendly hotel and then we wouldn't of chosen it.

(12/2024) NEWEST UPDATE: Spoke w michael , senior tech support guy who explained some of the reasons for the ui/ux issues, after speaking with him, I feel better that these issues are being resolved not overnight, but incrementally they.( know what needs to be done and theyre working on it). xero is a gr8 program, and when they fix these issues, we will be back in business. it doesnt explain the poor communication around the issues that got us here, but im willing to give them some time before i bash them again! when they get it together , ill change this review to 5 stars bcz i really believe in the product....below is my previous review before today 12/24 When u read this review , please bear in mind that xero has fixed the largest problem that I was having (unable to copy po from invoice) KUDOS on that! but i will leave the former review at the end of this review because I remember how absolutely frustrated I was with them before they remedied this issue, and I want you to know about this horrible experience I had. lets all remember that when we publish software, it MUST be thoroughly tested first! , and guys, WHY FORCE YOUR CUSTOMER INTO A NEW PRODUCT BEFORE THOROUGH TESTING? Ok, that said to be fair, xero is a great product when its functioning properly. with a boatload of awesome API's weve customised our processes so business runs smoothly (the way it should be) lately their customer service has been stellar (previously horendous) so all is well in xeroland at the moment, thanks for fixing the bugs! and MANY THANKS to diane for gr8 customer support!SEE BELOW FOR PREVIOUS HORROR STORY...ABSOLUTELY BROKEN COMPANY!!!!! I remember when xero was a good piece of software. it worked well, had api's and integrations that worked well together..well, their service always sucked. try to get help when you need it- IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!.but something changed, making it even worse in the last year or so...First, they began raising prices...it was always more expensive than QB but i was allright with it ....BECAUSE IT WORKED!!!! fast forward to today, an absolutely broken product! their legacy invoicing /purchase order system allowed a user to copy an invoice to a purchase order in a streamlined fashion. INTRODUCING THE NEW UNIMPROVED, and completely BROKEN INVOICING SYSTEM..JUST TRY TO COPY AN INVOICE TO A PO!!!! its absolutely infuriating!!!!! it doesnt work at all!! I just spent hours unsuccessfully trying to do what i used to do in MINUTES with classic invoicing!!! now whats the WORST THING A COMPANY CAN DO WITH A BROKEN PRODUCT????? FORCE IT DOWN YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS THROATS!!!!!!!!! XERO: if you want to develop a new version that you think is better(ITS NOT!!!!!) at least let your customers use the legacy product till you get it to work right....but NOOOOOOOOO, xero is forcing its customers to use their new (BROKEN) version----I was just on with their customer service girl why tried her best to help me-sweet girl who was clearly embarrased with her task of tring to defend a peice of software that although not working, is being forced on their customers.....we spent well over an hour trying to copy a simple invoice to po, ----NORMALLY PEOPLE WHO WRITE SOFTWARE CREATE ERROR MESSAGES when the app gets hungup NOT HERE ----STAY AWAY FROM XERO_____IM SO DISSAPOINTED WITH THEM FORCING SOMETHING THAT DOESNT WORK!!!--the csr explained that no support will be forthcoming on the legacy version, and that the developers are investing all their time on fixing this "NEW INVOICING" that was published before testing ------IT makes one wonder what in the world is going through their minds over there, are they sooo adamant to release this new flawed version ? why? hint: next time you release new software, support the old version untill you are SURE it works------AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!! ONCE YOU COMMIT TO THEM YOURE IN AN UNHOLY MARRIAGE!!!!! ---update 10/22/24 while using (new and improved????) invoicing system, there is no button to save the invoice and continue editing!!!! another extremely aggravating deleted feature because i used to use this feature all the time with the old invoicing which they are now eliminating!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting. Been accessing the Xero Me app for 5 years as this is how my employer requires us to submit leave requests and in a truly Orwellian move xero have now denied me access to the app unless I provide a plethora of personal information, download some other app and comply with some other non-sensical criteria around "Two Factor Authentication" WHICH I WAS ALREADY DOING with a combination of password and fingerprint which they concede is two factor authentication. Data harvesting much!EDIT 7/5/25: Thanks Xero but there's no point discussing it with your Teams any further. I've escalated the matter and even had one of your senior personnel admit that there's no legislation (despite me being told there was) that exists to support this change you've made mandatory. Your people have also conceded that I'm not actually accessing anything sensitive in the way of financial information that would make this a requirement under any data protection laws. End result - your staff have basically admitted this move is complete overreach yet they won't do anything to review it or reverse the chage.
