Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. Switched to AT&T before deploying with the Army and they promised me I could suspend my service and resume when I got back. Long story short I was lied to by several employees and am now stuck half way across the world with a $680 phone bill for the next 9 months. I have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service and many other branches and have been told there’s nothing they can do. I absolutely frustrated and would never recommend this service to anyone.

False Advertising & Late Deliveries

The site is rife with products that have misleading descriptions and pictures of the items. I have ordered 3 different things now that all claim to do a certain thing, only for it to arrive and that not be the case. Also the search function is practically useless as there is no way to force search results to contain or exclude specific keywords and phrases which often times leaves you scrolling through pages upon pages of the exact opposite of what you searched for. Also, orders placed under “Tomorrow by 13:00” and “Today by 22:00” are becoming increasingly less likely to actually show up in the advertised time frames and Amazon don’t seem to care to fix this issue as it’s been getting increasingly more common recently. It makes you wonder what you’re even paying for with Amazon Prime at this point.

Disrespectful to customers and employees alike.

The reviews of amazon are so bad for a reason. They are run by a man who simply does not care about those humans who he does not personally have to interact and be nice to. One has to assume that he does not care in the way his corporation interacts with customers, other than the rule book they have in front of them that often make absolutely no common sense and even ignores the law in different countries of purchase. This is one of the reasons I have closed my Amazon account. However in that I do not want or trust amazon to have my personal information, when it comes to wanting to return a defective product here in the UK it seems to be an impossibility. They allow no common sense or practical reason, or observance of retail law to be used. I have the receipt. I have an Amazon order number. I have the purchase amount and date. I also have an agreed return reference number from the company who sells through them (Brother) which i was told would be accepted by any of their resellers and distributers. Yet contrary to UK law they will not accept the return simple because I have closed my account. (one shouldn't need an account to return a product given i have all the proof they need). That refusal isn’t a problem that stems from my end, to me it seems it is an issue with the fact that Amazon doesn’t trust its own workforce to use their own common sense and intelligence. Disrespectful to both employee and customer alike, to say the least. So now I have to argue the fact that I am allowed to / and must return a product to the retailer and yet they won't accept it for absolutely no reason that makes any sense. I am more than happy to have closed my Amazon account. A company who are so dominant online that they seem to feel that they are above the law. However Amazon’s arrogance when there is an issue such as this, becomes a David and Goliath situation. Who has the energy. So now I look online, yes amazon included for a product and then shop directly from source. It’s safer and then there is no argument when something is defective and has to be returned. Given the way Amazon conducts its business in this situation, along with disrespecting people and the law, I use Amazon as an information service only.

FREE Trial?! Beware!

I was signing up for the free trial to see if their service would offer what I needed. I was ON the sign up screen showing free trial, then next screen asked for card info (that's normal with trials), put it in and got signed up for it (SO I THOUGHT). I logged in immediately and within 5 minutes knew it could not accommodate what I was looking for. Logged out, deleted it and went to cancel the "FREE" trial. Nope, it had me on a monthly subscription. I was charged. I contacted customer service instantly and they said "Oh this happens often and we are not sure why, we are trying to resolve this happening to others, we will refund the transaction right away". I thought, alright, sounds good...a week later, nothing. Called again, they said give it up to SEVEN business days for it to hit (THAT is uncommon). I explained it had been 6 business days, he said call back if you don't receive it tomorrow. I didn't receive it, shocker. Called back. Went back and forth 7 times over 6 weeks and all a sudden they said my card was not accepted which is why the refund was not going through. It is a Business DEBIT card through a reputable bank, the transaction went THROUGH just fine. I eventually gave up and ate their charge. Additionally, they kept saying "you don't have an active plan, we can't find your account info", hmmm, because I cancelled it!! They said that could have been causing an issue too. WTH! Then they asked for another card (on the SEVENTH call between April and June) and I hung up because I did NOT trust them having another cards info. I am a very small business and any amount of money lost for literally NO reason, is just such a waste and I ended up investing HOURS to try to get it back. Will never sign up for their services again which sucks, planned to do a different service down the road, NOPE.

If I could give them no stars I would

If I could give them no stars I would. We have had AAA for many years. Last night we really needed them for a towing situation and it was a nightmare from start to finish. First of all my husband spent 40 minutes trying to just connect with them and had no success. Once I arrived I was able to connect with someone on my phone. We pay for the Plus option and should be covered anywhere anytime. When the representative tried to place the work order for our towing the problems began. They kept telling us we were not in our “home club” area, whatever that means. I was on the phone for almost 2 hours and shuffled through 3 different representatives before we finally got the tow approved. It then took an hour for the tow truck to get to us. This was in a major city at a reasonable hour. While we waited we looked up AAA approved towing services in our area and there were many, however the one we got was an hour away. Once he arrived, he was competent, friendly and knew his job. He was great. The service was horrible. Thankfully we were able to get into a parking lot so we were relatively safe given it was after dark in a not great part of the city. We had a hungry puppy and 9 year old child with us who spent 3 hours starving and stuck in a broken down truck in the dark. We always thought we had the best protection we could get with AAA. What a rude awakening and huge disappointment from what AAA advertises.

Unable to process my refund requests well after the promised delivery date

over 2 months ago I received my first order, which was later found to be damaged as well as having a low build quality (10" Tablet Computer) - when I tried to request a refund for this item as it was past the delivery date provided - I was told that due to the status of my account that they could not be processed. 5 items require refunds due to non-delivery, damage, and quality concerns.

Review of typeform

Truly human

The first thing you notice about Typeform is how easy it is to get started. For example, most SAAS companies make you sign up for a free trail. Not Typeform. They let you get into it right away, create a beautiful form and then only ask you your details in order to save what you have just created. It's the simple things like this, attention to detail and the truly human aspect to all that they do that makes you love them as a product and as a company. The best thing about them is how they truly listen. If you write to them, expect them to take into consideration what you want and try and work it out.Keep up the good work Typeform.

BE AWARE OF TELEGRAPH

I have been a digital subscriber since 2019. In January 2024 I renewed for £69. In November 2024 I received a renewal offer of just over £120 or thereabouts. I emailed saying that was too much of an increase. I received a phone call where I was offered a renewal of £59 plus 3 bonus subscriptions. I accepted. Today I received an email about my bonus subscriptions so logged into my account with the Telegraph and am horrified to see they have renewed my subscription for £329 - yes you read that correctly. I am horrified at their sharp practices and surely this must be illegal. I am a pensioner and unable to contact them by phone today as their phone lines are closed until tomorrow by which time I could be in overdraft. I am distraught and wish to cancel subscription but there is now no way to do this online.

Unhelpful staff

I have just returned from a Staycation on board Anthem of the Seas with 2 elderly parents.Unfortunately I was unaware of the cabin location ( cabin was allocated by RCC )& it led to problems as my father nearly collapsed with the distance to the lift.I went to ask the staff on customer service desk for help & they stated that they couldn't offer a wheelchair (as the ones on ship are only for emergency......) but they could offer a room change. This was fine for mobility but not for COPD issues. We tried their way but on day 2 as we were walking away from the restaurant once again my father nearly collapsed, this was witnessed by the manager of the restaurant and within the space of 10 minutes a wheelchair was found. Why did it take the intervention of another manager before anything was done?????I know help was given but it was given too late. Left the cruise early as my father did collapse in the cabin....

I’d leave a zero or minus number if possible. Always had a great credit score. Never late in a payment. Two months in a row I gave fees and paid on time. Cancelling card tomorrow. Website stinks. Not worth saving 15 cents a gallon.

2 thumbs up!

I had no issues using the service—everything worked smoothly. Whenever I needed help, their tech support was always knowledgeable and ready to assist. I only canceled because I no longer needed the service at the moment, but I’d definitely consider coming back if I need it again in the future. I highly recommend Bluehost!

Skype2

Like really you need to make a stupid account to join other PC? Time to find another similar program to use. Hopefully you end up the same way like Skype....Also the new version is extremely slow, unbelievable overcomplicated and looks stupid.Sorry for my opinion if some of your management boy feels offended by it. You can ignore it and think that you did a good job.....not.

Review of groupon

Groupon offered refund then changed their mind

So shocked at the customer service at Groupon. Never needed them before as only bought a few vouchers here and there years ago but recently decided to try again and purchase a voucher for some laser hair treatment. After making the purchase I attempted to call the merchant several times each day but no answer, even they did and I made an appointment weeks away as they are in their words so busy and appointments aren’t easy to get. They then tried to hard upsell me more sessions despite never having 1. I explained I’d never had it before and would rather wait and was told that’s wrong as I’m silly missing out on such good deals and she won’t book my appointment until I decide so she’s put notes on the system. I explained I didn’t really have the money to be paying g £1000 right now on the phone for something g I don’t want and I was asked dead straight well when will you have the money then?I contacted Groupon at this point and also tried to ring the merchant back several times to cancel the appointment booked but ended up leaving a VM as they literally never answer the phone. Groupon then has a form you fill in to request a refund which allows 15 characters only for some strange, silly and inconvenient reason… so I fill this in and get an email saying sorry we can’t help you as the merchant is in business and is contactable. Not oh how can we help and what’s the issue just instant dismissal. I had to go back and explain properly what the issue was as I couldn’t do that on the original form and was then told I couldn’t have a refund as the voucher showed as used. Again I explained my story and they asked ME to contact the merchant on their behalf to have them confirm in writing that I didn’t use the voucher. So I do this and Ofc the merchant doesn’t reply but eventually I do get a response and send it to Groupon. They then email me back a generic response saying sorry they can’t help. I replied and was upset and got a reply asking for feedback even though nothing had been resolved. Then they say they have my email finally and will have to have it reviewed by another team as they don’t think I can have a refund here unfortunately and they’re very sorry. I only obtained this info as was explicitly told by them if I did I would get a refund. Essentially they have you running pilar to post for them and then they go back on what they have said. They then asked me for feedback despite not resolving any issues for me and for weeks having me doing all this emailing and chasing. I am genuinely exhausted and so upset that they lied and said I would have a refund if I did X and then changed their mind once I had provided X. So upsetting and undignified being made a fool of in this way. I would strongly advise to reconsider Groupon as if you require customer service or the merchant is false / liar / unprofessional then you will lose your money and not receive any actual service from Groupon. Issue first raised with Groupon on May 19thRequested email stating I had never used the voucher sent to Groupon on May 29thNo response still as of today so not exactly quick process either
