Review of mercari
Would rate -10000 stars if possible. SCAM WEBSITE— they will not respond to you via email (except for an automated AI/generic response that answers none of your questions 3-4 business days). A seller send me an electronic, that via their post was in working condition. I received it smashed to pieces and nothing was working on it. I contacted Mercari directly who sent my information to the seller. I received over a 100 messages at 1am threatening me that it is my fault it was damaged in shipping and I need to contacting USPS (mind you they shipped it, and I had no information). They threatened me that they didn’t want me sending a “broken product back”. Mercari sent me a generic email over 10 times on how to block someone when I was scared for my life. They wanted me to send the product back to the seller. I begged to send it back to cooperate office, warehouse, customer service office or rep, literally anyone that worked at Mercari as a buffer as I was scared for what the seller would do. Mercari made me jump through hoops sending every angle of the box, every angle of the product, every angle of the shipping paper, and all messages from seller. Customer support was not responding in a timely matter and told me I was to send the product back. They gave me 24 hours and closed the case—but customer service was not responding to me. The product was less than 60 dollar. I am disputing it with my bank and told it would take months. The amount of work and time for a scammer who most likely knew it was broken and sold it to me is ridiculous! Stay far away from this website unless you like being scammed without a way to receive your money back. Oh and they don’t have a customer service phone number or “higher management” per customer support emails.
Review of mercari
As a business owner dealing with a large volume of coins weekly, my experience with Mercari has been nothing short of a disaster. Here’s why:1. No Warnings or Clear CommunicationI had no idea I violated any policies. Apparently, a family member using my account to make a purchase triggered an issue, but I was never warned or given any prior notice of policy violations. Suddenly, I’m penalized without understanding why.2. Unfair Refund PoliciesOnce you leave a review for an item, it becomes nearly impossible to get a refund, even if the item is counterfeit or doesn’t match the description. In my case, I received a fake coin in a bundle of four and just wanted a refund for that one item. As a numismatist, identifying counterfeits can be difficult, especially for certain coins, and sometimes it’s impossible to verify authenticity within their rigid 72-hour window.3. Customer Service FailureI was told I had until November 22 to report issues, yet customer service refused to honor this and essentially told me there was nothing they could do. Their lack of care for buyers dealing with fraudulent sellers is appalling.4. Protecting ScammersI’ve dealt with multiple counterfeit orders from the same seller, who is scamming others by selling fake Flying Eagle cents. I can’t even leave a review to warn other buyers because of Mercari's restrictions. The seller continues to profit while Mercari does nothing. This app is poorly managed, with dishonest policies that protect scammers while alienating legitimate buyers and sellers. If you’re serious about protecting your money and avoiding counterfeits, stay far away from Mercari. The only good thing I really say is it's a bit simpler than the other platforms but maybe that's the problem I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission

I could go into long story. But basically ordered flooring and they kept pushing back delivery date. Finally went to store where flooring manager in the west Albuquerque area told me she really did not care about my order. And would not care if I canceled. So I canceled. Will go else where. Just done with Lowes after years of same treatment. Plenty of others out there. I would go elsewhere that they appreciate your business.

After 2 weeks of signing up for a month trial of $99 a year membership, I’m very disappointed at the constant email solicitations to upgrade the membership to $1200 a year.“Get our BRAND-NEW report, “Inflection Point 2025: Ten Top Stocks to Buy Now” at no extra charge when you use this Early Bird upgrade offer before tomorrow at midnight.”….I spent more than 30min watching the Inflection point video, to the end it was an empty promise and lots of marketing, sale pitches of past performance, what could have been, would have been scenarios of picking the already winning stocks. With the current level of spam emails, sale pressure, this service appears to be unprofessional and undesirable. I may have to cancel before the month end.

DreamHost is one of the worst hosting providers I’ve ever dealt with. Here’s why:1) Inflexible Policies, Rude Customer Support & No RefundsDreamHost’s customer support is a complete disaster. Their representatives are unhelpful, dismissive, and at times outright rude. Instead of assisting customers, they hide behind rigid policies and refuse to make any reasonable accommodations.Worst of all, if you’re unhappy with their service, don’t expect a refund—even if you cancel early. Unlike many reputable hosts that offer pro-rated refunds, DreamHost will simply pocket your money, citing their strict no-refund policy. Their so-called “money-back guarantee” only applies under very limited conditions, making it virtually useless in most cases.2) The Free Domain Redemption ScamDreamHost advertises a "free domain" with hosting plans, but this is a misleading gimmick. They bombard you with countless promotional emails and newsletters, yet somehow "forget" to send a reminder about claiming your free domain. The result? Many customers miss the redemption period and are then forced to pay out of pocket. It’s a shady tactic that clearly aims to exploit forgetfulness, ultimately saving DreamHost from covering the domain registration cost they initially promised.3) Unreliable Dashboard – Frequent Connection IssuesEven accessing the DreamHost dashboard is a struggle. I’ve repeatedly encountered the frustrating error: "This site can't be reached. panel.dreamhost.com unexpectedly closed the connection."A hosting provider’s control panel should be stable and accessible at all times, yet DreamHost’s dashboard frequently experiences outages. To verify the issue, I checked DreamHost’s status on isitdownrightnow.com, and the results confirmed:DOWN - Dreamhost.com is DOWN for everyone. It is not just you. The server is not responding...This is completely unacceptable for a hosting provider. If the host's own website is down, how can they be trusted to keep customer websites running smoothly?4) Clunky, Unintuitive Control PanelUnlike most reputable hosts that use the industry-standard cPanel, DreamHost insists on pushing its own clunky, unintuitive control panel. The layout is confusing, the file manager is a nightmare to navigate, and basic tasks require unnecessary steps. If you’re coming from a cPanel-based host, be prepared for a steep learning curve and endless frustration.Final Verdict: Stay Away!DreamHost is a textbook example of what’s wrong with bad hosting companies—poor support, deceptive marketing, and a terrible user experience. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend avoiding DreamHost and choosing a more reliable hosting provider.

Please do NOT use this company. They owe millions to venue owners across the U.S. for events held at the beginning of the pandemic. They still owe us $6K for two concerts we held in March 2020! Despite a lawsuit in Sept. 2020 ordering them to repay they money they owe, they stopped after a portion of payments and now refuse to communicate with unpaid venue owners, offering no phone service and ignoring our emails. It's sickening to watch them continue to offer ticketing services for new events.

The company said it would deposit $50dollars in my PayPal acct over 7 days if I requested each day. I got one dollar the first day and then no way to redeem the money after that. They did not respond to my e-mails to redeem the other 49 dollars.

DoorDash has appalling and unethical business practices when it comes to customer service. Instead of refunding $60.84 for an undelivered order (the driver reported the food seals were broken after it was knocked out of his hands and hit the ground), DoorDash initially offered a mere $10.95 credit. After attempting to escalate the issue via the app—a cumbersome process—it eventually became a $40 credit, applied automatically without my consent. Using the chat feature to attempt to resolve this with an agent was equally frustrating, as they claimed the issue was resolved since they couldn't offer more than the partial credit. Is it legal for a company to keep money for a service they failed to provide? We will never use DoorDash again.
