Would rate -10000 stars if possible. SCAM WEBSITE— they will not respond to you via email (except for an automated AI/generic response that answers none of your questions 3-4 business days). A seller send me an electronic, that via their post was in working condition. I received it smashed to pieces and nothing was working on it. I contacted Mercari directly who sent my information to the seller. I received over a 100 messages at 1am threatening me that it is my fault it was damaged in shipping and I need to contacting USPS (mind you they shipped it, and I had no information). They threatened me that they didn’t want me sending a “broken product back”. Mercari sent me a generic email over 10 times on how to block someone when I was scared for my life. They wanted me to send the product back to the seller. I begged to send it back to cooperate office, warehouse, customer service office or rep, literally anyone that worked at Mercari as a buffer as I was scared for what the seller would do. Mercari made me jump through hoops sending every angle of the box, every angle of the product, every angle of the shipping paper, and all messages from seller. Customer support was not responding in a timely matter and told me I was to send the product back. They gave me 24 hours and closed the case—but customer service was not responding to me. The product was less than 60 dollar. I am disputing it with my bank and told it would take months. The amount of work and time for a scammer who most likely knew it was broken and sold it to me is ridiculous! Stay far away from this website unless you like being scammed without a way to receive your money back. Oh and they don’t have a customer service phone number or “higher management” per customer support emails.
