My name is Sue Wallace We had Fry-Wagner move us from St Louis to Farmington, MO on June 4-5. The driver of the van that loaded our stuff hit a telephone pole about 2 miles from our house, completely mashing in the right side of the truck and damaging many pieces of our furniture; over 28, and also we are actually missing items such as part of my husband's weight set and his power supplies for his movie theater seats, among other things. They offered us a very, very small compensation for the damage (going with their standard .60 on the pound, when there was a van accident, with their driver being negligible, not a mover scratching your curio cabinet). We have six pieces to our bedroom set; five of them are damaged. There is a lamp that is completely shattered. A speaker not only has the black covering on the front all ripped, but also mashed in the speaker front behind the covering. Scratches and gouges on my mother's 65 year old piano, as well as the piano bench. I have written to and left a voice mail for, the President of the company with absolutely no response, not even, 'we are sorry about your damage'. His name is Larry Fry, the company is Fry-Wagner, and the Corporate office is in Lenexa, KS/ Kansas City area. Please, if you value your property and expect a company to compensate you fairly when significant damage occurs and treat you like a valued customer, do NOT use Fry-Wagner for future moving needs. Quite a disgrace from a company that won a Fleet Excellence award for their driving skills a couple years ago and a Customer Service award this year, I believe. Very disappointed in this company. I have many photos of the significant damage the driver of the van did to our property in a one vehicle accident where he hit a telephone pole in broad daylight.
Confirmed by court: consumer reports is misleading! As video footage from court case against CR showed, CR intentionally changed test course to manipulate results and make the car finally fail the new test to support their agenda while it performed well on the actual test course. Despite court case CR continues their political agenda. Today GM again is involved with CR and now they are attacking Teslas far superior autopilot system.
Consumer reports drivers more funding from the Ford Foundation than from any other source. Literally the same guy, Henry Ford III, sits on the bord of directors of the Ford Motor Company and the Ford Foundation. The issue is that they are fighting the competition, in this case Tesla autonomy, not with a better and more affordable product, but with an article explaining how to illegally hack the Tesla system. This other that be just illegal will also push other people to break the law putting lifes in dangerous situation. The article was complaining how much was it "easy" for them to hack Tesla securities, in fact they "only" had to:buckle the driver’s seatbelt without a person sitting in the seat. The driver, who was not actively belted in, then engaged Autopilot and reduced the system’s speed to zero. When the vehicle stopped, a premade weighted defeat device was placed on the Tesla’s steering wheel to simulate pressure from the driver’s hand. The driver then went over to the passenger seat and increased Autopilot’s speed, which enabled the vehicle to start moving again. Consumer Reports also made it a point to point out that the driver in its test did not open the vehicle’s doors, as that would disengage Autopilot.
My phone was not ringing for all incoming calls or text messages, and I was not getting my notifications on missed calls. I took my phone into the store here in Burkesville. There were two young girls working who did not seem to have had any training. They called tech support, who checked out my phone, did a factory reset, and decided the phone had a manufacturing defect. So I asked for a replacement phone, and was told I would have to drive all the way to Columbia, even though they had phones in the store they could have given me. I asked to speak with a manager. They called the manager, who was extremely rude, and also insisted I would have to drive to Columbia.I got so frustrated I left the store. When I got home, my phone was actually working. Apparently, when tech support did the factory reset it actually managed to fix the problem, but the tech was too incompetent to realize it.We'll see how long the fix lasts.Don't go the Bluegrass Cellular in Burkesville. Worst phone service and customer service EVER.
Shame on you Consumer Reports, I am in the Uk and your reports are not relevant here. Trying to cancel membership is a nightmare. Every link just takes me around again, not to the spot where I can actually cancel. I tried Chat and telephone all without success, as I was left holding on without actual contacting anyone. Calling from the UK EXPENSIVE!!!
