Amazon refuse to help when I have had £167.99 taken from me and no item delivered. I was fobbed off from the start with late delivery, then item missing. Amazon told me I had to wait until a certain date to be refunded. Suddenly the item is delivered and signed for on this date...but not to me or by me? Absolutely a scam and disgusting customer service. Allowing companies to use Amazon as a platform to steal from people and not stepping in and taking responsibility when it happens?!

On December 30th, in the middle of the holiday season, Academia sent me an e-mail in which - at the end of the mail and in deceitfully small print - they announced a 65% price hike of the yearly subscription payment, without offering the opportunity to cancel the subscription because of this.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Initially during the free trail period it all worked brilliantly. Then I paid the fee and needed to change my email address. Hootsuite has not worked since. So far I have spent roughly 8 hours online with the customer service agent - who disappears for an hour at time - nothing solved. I have been asked every question possible in an attempt by Hootsuite to place the blame elsewhere. STUPIDLY I paid an annual fee and oh guess what no refunds.

I just wanted to subscribe to the Telegraph Puzzles but it seems that after you sign up to the trial offer you then have to create yet another account to the Telegraph itself. I attempted this but it tells me my credentials (email address and password) are already in use and I need to use alternatives. So all I can access is one free puzzle a day - was hoping to be able to use the cryptic puzzle for my online crossword group with Mirthy but it's impossible. The Times Puzzles and Guardian crossword app are just so much better, none of this ridiculous hassle!

I book a ride home from work. I had just completed my shift I was so tired and just wanted to get home to sleep. My driver was Tommy driving a white Dodge truck. Got in the Lyft his jeep was filthy and smelled like cigarettes,the ride was okay but make my sinuses acted up. After I completed my ride about 6:59pm I got an email stating that I was charged $80 for damage. After reaching out to find out what “damage” Lyft responded stating that TOMMY said I ate in his nasty car and showed some pics of food. I had no food with me & even if I did I could not eat in his car because it was dirty. I just wanted to get home in peace. They state that they would not remove the charge, I had to suffer for someone else mistake because TOMMY is a liar.

"Read insights that you can trust", printed and delivered by a business that not only seems to rely on accidental auto-renewals but uses deceit and misinformation to actively encourage them.Midway through using a 12 week subscription, I wanted to check that I had cancelled any auto renewal as I am aware is standard practice by most subscription services. No problem there.However, upon logging in to The Economist website you can click the "My Account" tab, and find a "Manage my subscription" tab. "Manage my subscription", in any reasonable interpretation, would imply that users are able to change or cancel their subscription under the definition of 'manage'. Yet, the only options The Economist gives (seemingly whether you are subscribed or not) is to "become a subscriber" or to "subscribe". There is absolutely no information regarding your subscription, no mention that you are subscribed whatsoever or even a note to say that this can only be managed by contacting them by email, letter or phonecall. All there is are two instances of being asked to become a subscriber. Is this really The Economist's definition of "Manage my subscription": a sales pitch for a product their hiding you're already subscribed to?This is incredibly misleading and deceitul practice. I, like many others I'm sure, naturally assumed that I must have already terminated the subscription and auto-renewal at some point in the previous 10 weeks as there was only the option to "subscribe", so took no action. And then, bam: £45 taken directly from my bank account without so much as an email to notify me of anything. I have since asked for a refund to be told I will only be refunded for copies they haven't already sent me (even though they are unopened).Is this a deliberate strategy by the Economist to achieve money by misleading and tricking customers? You'd have thought they could have relied on their claims of quality articles and insights; apparently not.Avoid.Edit: If I get a reply staying their currently working on "improving our website and cancellation process", this stock response has been used time and time again for a long time. How long does it take to add a unsubscribe button or put some information about your subscription?

Seems more and more often Amazon is being deceitful about shipping dates,I have recent experiences with a posted ETA on the site ,,place an order and the receipt days moves out by the time I get an order verification.Now 1 out of 3 orders seem to be pushed to before 10 PM on a later date.That is the same as the day after.When contacting Amazon, they say simply..we apologize ..let us know if you don't receive in a few days,That is not a proper respose to a guaranteed Prime shipping date,Seems the current process is to call the item shipped early..therefore prohibiting cancellation.So the items arrive late on a regular basis ,,then you have to return,,and your money is locked up for 3 to 5 days.Amazon used to be so reliable..Prime accounts were greatly beneficial..my opinion..no longer seems to be the case.Seems they have moved to more profit grabbing regardless of impact to the end customer.Feels like the Prime Shipping listed on the site is just a hook to get you to purchase certain products, yet they is no priority delivery over non Prime..
