Bizzare customer service

I was looking to set up an account for my business and navigating their website to look at costs etc, where I was met with a pop up chatbot, who was all too keen to reassure me they were "an actual person" but then started spamming welcome messages..like a bot...and then proceeded to ask for all of my personal details: name, address, email, phone number, without actually asking what I was enquiring about. Needless to say, I closed the bot and tried to email instead for more information, as I just did not trust this weird chatbot. Nobody replied to my emails from dropbox, but I did notice I was getting a repeat call from a number which was flagged as spam/suspicious, so at first I didn't answer. A couple of days later, the same number called so I thought I'd answer and see who it was, and sure enough it was a Dropbox representative. He said he'd been trying to ring me to discuss my email (but didn't bother responding to my actual email), but after I advised that 1: the number is flagged as spam/suspicious, and I don't usually answer to those, and 2: I had now found another provider because Dropbox couldn't even respond to an email, the representative literally "HUFFED" down the phone, "TUTTED" and said "...alright...bye!" ....how professional!I am so glad I didn't sign up to this company. Their whole customer service model is one of the most bizzare and unresponsive services I have come across in a long time. I will say though, I was so stunned by this rude mans response down the phone, that it actually gave me a laugh, so thanks I guess, Dropbox

Let us remember we are readers.

Let us make believe that we live in a perfect world. A world where you can order a book online and it will arrive within week - which seems only fair since they suck the money out of your wallet as soon as you hit the "pay" button when you order. Let us make believe that after that - after they have extracted your money they still care and will do anything to make sure your order goes smoothly just like your money entering into their financial account did. Yes, brothers and sisters let us make believe that we are human beings, and we are fair with each other in our business transactions, and we are not actually slaves thrown into the gladiator pit of doing business with thumbs down kind of people who could care less if the book ever really reaches your hands once they have your money. Let us not become comatose and enter into a zombitard state like those who call themselves customer service representees - after all I would bet good money that few if any of them even have a window to look out with a nice view since most of them are probably working from home - I think we just need to remember that when we were little libraries were special places and books were our safe houses - no matter what was going on - and we cannot - yes we cannot let this memory of safehouse jurisdiction be taken from us by the shards of embryonic apathy and lethargic nonsense dished out by these used book companies in their various states of parasitical capitalistic cannibalism. We must remember that we read because we find pleasure in escaping the things I have just mentioned in this ugly world of deception and soul less wonders who present their faces in an angelic expression of friendship only to better dig their crusty dirty hands into your pockets and extract more of your hard-earned coin. And we must not sink to their level of disgust and dark soul templates and placating scripts that they dish out without even a hint of embarrassment that they have taken a job such as they have - and that they will have to one day in some way pay for all the lying and kicking the can down the road shenanigans they have learned in their present position of standing behind you while your bent over asking for help with whatever troubles they have slipped into your day - a day you only wanted to spend reading a nice book - a good story instead of being drilled by their feigned ignorance of the help your trying to get in something simple like asking what time it is. Because they will tell you it is time for you to buy a watch. Yes my fellow readers and users of ABE - maintain your dignity and your intelligence and do not let them lead you into stressful situation where you might to a Panic Pete deal while sitting at your computer - and do not curse them nor in anyway feed into the negative waterfall that customer service representatives shower in - using you as the cascading drops of water. I say use these online book places as your church towards growing your wisdom and rising your awareness in the direction of enlightenment - you cannot find God in a book, but you can find a god in how you live and how you cope and how you treat others even when they are standing on your neck with their book (boot) heal. I say to you - you are not alone - you are a book reader and we are all book readers - and we cannot let capitalism spoil that for us - and we must do the best we can to have patience and compassion for ourselves when we know in an honest way that we are good inside and they are not fair nor are they decent nor are they kind or concerned about the human condition and this is why I surely hope that a solar flare really does come and wipes out most of mankind and we will have books to read until of course it gets too hot or too cold to read them and we either turn to flame or an icicle - but oh the joy in knowing - all those people who had the upper hand will be just as burnt or froze - that will be wonderful. So yes, I say - do not let them stress you out and remember - you can always go to the library or goodwill and get equally abused there - if you need actual face to face abuse. Perhaps in the great changes that are coming in consciousness this manifestation of beastly treatment will right itself and we will once again find the lifeline of the libraries we remember from times long gone - but not forgotten.

Useless travel website

Useless travel website. I've booked with them three times:The first time in 2021, they accepted my booking and took my money, only to cancel the booking 6 months later due to the host apparently having sold the property. This left my trying to find a replacement property at short notice which cost significantly more. To make matters my worse my 'full refund' was not a full refund because the exchange rate had changed, so I received £30 less back than I originally paid.Second time in 2022, I booked with them and travelled abroad, I arrived to find no one at the property and it locked up. Fortunately the neighbours were in and called the owner, who eventually turned up to let us in. Otherwise, my family including young children would have been sleeping outdoors the first night of our holiday.Third time in 2023, they accepted my booking and took my money, only for the host to send me an email minutes later saying there was an error and their property prices hadn't been confirmed yet for the following Summer, so I'd have to cancel my booking.Absolute bunch of cowboys running this website. No integrity, no reliability and a complete waste of my time.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE! I have been hosting my tiny house with VRBO for 3 years now and they are just HORRIBLE to deal with. Their app always crashes or you have to log in repeatedly. Their customer service is just dismal. The whole process just feels like too much work. It's so frustrating. I will never book through them or use them to host.

Appalling, dishonest customer service

Missed flights, delayed baggage for 3 weeks, dreadful customer service where people actually lie about what has happened. Too much to put down here but do be warned, lovely people. Do NOT book with Royal Caribbean - it is the worst customer service we have ever experienced. We will go to ABTA and to the ombudsman if we have to. We had such high hopes and has been so disappointing. There are plenty of other great companies out there. AVOID!

Daylight Robbery Alive & Thriving Here

I booked a cruise for our family with Royal Caribbean stating we would be adding a baby to the reservation when the baby arrived. Contacted them when baby arrived and they said it was no problem to add the baby, but would need to contact the agent we booked with. Did that a few days ago and they said it agent says Royal Caribbean want £900 to add a baby to the room reserved. A baby what will only occupy space. Not eating etc! Really……really??

Love / hate- the software is super sophisticated and expensive. I could not use all the features. In normal times- it's worth it because so many studios are on it but now- it's not. To freeze the mindbody account cost more per month than the software we are using now. Seems they should have come up with something to help struggling studios through the pandemic and maybe they would not have lost any clients. We were one of the fist studios to live stream - it was set up on mindbody- it wasn't working correctly and nearly 40% of our members had issues. I really think we lost people because of it.
