Review of eventbrite
Eventbrite decided to hold all payments for our event until after the event was to end due to Covid. Now that we did have to cancel the event, I’m trying to issue refunds, some have not received anything back yet. No customer service to help figure out problems. Horrible company. Will never use them again.

Review of amazon
Last week, I excitedly set up a free Amazon Web Services (AWS) account using my Mastercard. They offered a free tier, including a server (Amazon EC2) for 12 months, which I planned to use for my website. I got everything set up perfectly! I hosted my website, uploaded over 15 blog posts (each one costing me around $25 to produce, so that's $400 total!), and was really happy with how things were going. Then, disaster struck. Today, AWS suspended my account. They said it was for verification purposes. I tried everything to verify it, but nothing worked. They locked me out even though I had uploaded all the required information. I'm incredibly frustrated because I've lost everything. All my website data, including backups, is gone. Poof. Just like that, $400 down the drain because of this sudden suspension.Honestly, I'm beyond disappointed. If AWS can't reliably provide their services, why offer them in the first place? This whole experience has been incredibly stressful and costly. I definitely wouldn't recommend AWS to anyone. And if they're offering something for "free" that can be taken away so easily, I'd say it's best to stay far, far away. It's just not worth the risk.
Review of hootsuite
Buyer beware! Hootsuite won't let you schedule stories or tag users in carousel posts and constantly disconnects from social accounts. They won't issue refunds unless a request made within 30 days. So if you are unhappy with your services 6 months into your year-long plan you're on your own.

Review of americanexpress
We signed up for the Amazon Business Prime American Express card a couple of months ago. After jumping through hoops (I have never met so much bureaucracy in setting one up), I managed to set up a direct debit. I changed the direct debit from minimum payment to pay off the balance each month on the website and everything looked good to go. After the first payment was due to come off I got a call for Amex credit saying that my bank had refused the direct debit. After wasting a lot of time I established from my bank that Amex had actually cancelled the DD. I paid the balance off with assurances from Amex that everything was now sorted out. This month, surprise surprise, Amex credit phoned me again to say that my bank had refused the direct debit. I was on holiday and spent the next hour establishing that Amex had never reinstated the DD. After now being called a 2nd day in a row by their credit team to say my bank had refused the DD I am in despair as they don't listen or understand. I have spoken to 2 different members of their customer service team to explain the same thing and am waiting for a call back. The time I have spent on this is just too much hassle and will be cancelling the card.

Pathetically out of touch tech company which can only come up what would have been innovative (if not incredibly obvious) 5 years late.Latest iPhone iOS is the least user friendly interface I’ve ever used. Of course they will do nothing about this, until they release a new update which will remove any good aspect of the UI and replace it with something unbearable.

So I signed up with ya folks just to get it going. Had issues verifying every single web site. Couldn't for whatever reason verify 1 email address. Spent some time on this. Literally the very next day. All my stuff is gone. You want me to verify. So I do again. Than ya come back and say you couldn't verify me. Ok. Let's contact support. You folks set up a perfect loop to not email or call support when ya can't verify ones self. So this is why I'd like to close my account. Can't seem to navigate that one either but I will not waste my time running circles so I just blocked the emails label as spam and I am wiping my hands of a joke of a service. Free or not. When you step in a pile of $@@@ ya know it. That's where I'm at with the app that lot value so fast.
