My item, a JW Anderson bag arrived damaged (with broken sequins) and I have been trying to reach costumer care for a week now and they are non-existent.No, I don’t recommend this website. Super frustrating. Update: So after 3 weeks of emailing back and forth we found a solution that worked for the both of us.

Review of care
On 11/9/23, I signed up on Care.com for a premium membership to identify a part-time caregiver for my husband. It turns out that wasn't needed and after a couple of weeks I never used it again and had forgotten about the membership. On 11/13/24, I saw a charge to my VISA without any communication/emails from the company. I called using the number on the charge and was advised this was the annual subscription charge. When I told him I was unaware of this and the charge was made without my authorization, I was advised I was notified in November 2023 that in November 2024 an annual subscription would be charged to my credit card. My response was that any reputable company which whom I had done business had always notified me via email that a subscription would be renewed and what the charge would be. I received nothing from them. He continued to state that the charge was non-refundable. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, I was told it was not possible and it would be escalated. I received an email on 11/19/24 from Erick the supervisor advising subscriptions are nonrefundable per their Terms and Conditions/Terms of Use. The individual with whom I spoke on 11/13/24 cancelled the subscription and although I have no use for the service and haven't used it in 2024, I was advised my membership would continue through 11/9/25. Also, when I went to trustpilot.com to post the issue, their website flagged that regulatory action was taken against this company. The press release dated 8/26/24 from Federal Trade Commission noted an order of $8.5 million against Care.com to refund harmed consumers. Part of the reason that the company "used deceptive design practices to trap consumers in subscriptions." While the FTC release states the order announced today puts a stop to these unlawful practices..., Care.com is still doing it. When I found this on the FTC website today, I went to reply back to the supervisor but there is no contact information on his email that allows me to have further communications with him.

I find the search results biased and untrustworthy!Google claims it uses its cookies to tailor content to its personal users. However, whatever I search for, it ALWAYS puts sources I never click on, at the top of my results, and the ones I do click on, on the 2nd or 3rd page - often, only after I put in the national daily newspaper I click on all the time!

PayPal is a horrible company/platform. They offer no buyer protection. They offer seller protection. I had 2 charges that were fraudulently made to my PayPal account for $15,000. If filled several disputes about these charges. I showed that they other recipient was a Computer hacker/scammer. They still supported paying the Hacker. They want to hold me responsible for charges that I did not make. DO NOT USE PAYPAL.

Today being certified with the proper knowledge it's important for work. I find very difficult to find a trusted certification for programmers and IT experts, all courses are good but I don't see any courses that actually match real jobs in the IT field. These courses are better than nothing, good for newbies, but I find them very simple and it's very complicated to find advanced courses.

I recently bought 2 coats from Uniqlo online via PayPal. I needed to return one but there was no returns slip in the package.slip. I don’t have access to a printer so sought advice from Uniqlo about how else I could return the item. The customer service dept were dreadful. I had to ask the same question 3 times for them to say that I would have to return at my own cost because I bought online via PayPal they don’t accept returns in store either. They claim to be reducing paper waste by not providing a returns slip in each parcel. In this day and age I would have thought a tech savvy company like Uniqlo would be more tech savvy and use QR codes to really reduce paper waste rather than just providing lip service and preventing people from returning items because they have used PayPal or don’t have access to a printer. I had to pay £5 for the privilege of returning a coat. I wont not be buying from Uniqlo again especially with Covid-19 and their unfriendly returns policies.
