Review of emirates

Emirates business class flight to Srilanka

We flew to Colombo,Srilanka via Dubai.When we reached Colombo our checked bags were missing We joined a queue to fill a lost bags claim with Srilankan airline ground staff and when we came out our pick up car had gone We went by taxi to hotel and purchased essential clothes and toileteries for overnight.Next day Emirates had our bags and we had to collect them at airport.I did not realise you had to make a claim in writing within 21 days as we were on holiday for 30 days.This information is under terms and conditions and when i spoke to their office in colombo they paid a very small sum to cover transport but never told me to complete a form.When i returned and filled the form they ask me to claim in insurance.I am very disappointed with their customer relations as you cant have telephone conversation and am informed their decision is finalAbout the flight the trip between Dubai and Colombo is excellent as staff are very attentive and care for you.Meals are goodThe slot from Manchester to Dubai is poor with very poor staff service and bland food.

AVOID

AVOID! I was sent faulty light bulbs which do not connect to Google Home despite saying they will and they are going around and around in circles trying to avoid sending a replacement. They asked for all my personal information, proof of purchase etc. then started sending messages in a very unprofessional tone over FB messenger from their official page. I have been going back and forth for days now and they keep saying they will send a replacement, then they won't and so on!! I send them everything they ask for. Screenshots/photos/videos even to show the light bulbs are faulty and nothing. They treat you like you're a liar. Don't waste your money.

BEWARE!

BEWARE!! I would give Domestika no stars if I could as I purchased a short course and then found that I was suddenly charged an extortionate amount for a Domestika Plus subscription (£280) which I DID NOT sign up for. I think this is disgraceful as I have emailed 4 times and just get no response. It is tantamount to theft and they should be reported to the relevant authorities. Do not sign up for anything or go near this company as you will not be refunded.....they honestly couldn't care less.

Hi CNNI am writing from Scotland, UK. I am responding to probably the last 20 to 30 or maybe 50/60 years of hurricane issues in the USA. I live in the Orkney Islands and we regularly have winds of 70 to 80 mph in winter. Bad winds is 100mph plus. We recorded winds of 138mph in Orkney and at no point was a house destroyed. Worst case scenario you lose a roof tile or 2. America you need to get your stuff together. I am sure you have no shortage of stone and gravel and concrete. I no longer feel any sympathy for you as the wealthiest nation on earth. Sort your housing out. Building houses from timber and papier-mache doesn't work. Build with concrete in mind and you will save yourself billions, but knowing America that is exactly the reason why you don't use concreteWhat is likely is there is a construction union that lobby the government and prevent American citizens from being safeI always wanted to return to the US but now its just too dangerous for so many reasons

Biased and sooo one sided. CNN's 1/2 the story does not make good reading, it makes a fool out of their organization.They truly look foolish. How about Both sides Equally? You would think their rating drop would spell it out to CNN. I just can't trust in your angel and lies anymore.

No refund for WRC9 worst game ever on PS5 absolute dreadful, I made a complaint via PSN as the game is so rubish all I got is (As I download it we cant refund you) well I didn't know how crap the game was until I downloaded it that's why Dum Dum, Like many other people I have had a PlayStation since launch of PS1 and I have never asked for a refund on any PSN before, but when you buy a PS5 & get WR9 you expect a quality release not this pile of Poo. makes me laugh as they reunded Cyberpunk digitaly. cocks

I took out a Good Food subscription recently but when I tried to book tickets for the Good Food show and use my subscriber discount I received a message that it was invalid. So far, so bad. I sought help from from the admin but was told to ring the show instead. Hopeless!

Amex's 27 Year Grudge

Back in 1998 I was an American Express card holder running $5,000 per month through their card, never late, always zero balance. Got divorced from a spendthrift spouse when I discovered she had $70K in secret credit card debt. On the advice of my divorce attorney I field for Chapter 7, and left Amex with about a $5K balance on the card, which was discharged in bankruptcy.Fast forward 27 years to 2025. I have $2M in assets and $200K in total available credit on several cards with zero balances everywhere. Credit score is 817. My 2nd wife applies for a Delta Skymiles card through Amex so she can accumulate miles. They issue us both cards.When I tried to activate my card it came back denied and "account cancelled". Upon inquiry it turns out that they refuse to issue me a card unless I pay the outstanding amount from 27 years ago. They then sent two letters addressed to my wife. The first told her that my account was cancelled and that they couldn't tell her why due to privacy laws. The second was written to me, telling me that I could not obtain a card because I had a prior derogatory entry in my files (from 1998), but it was addressed to her, presumably so that she would open it. I cannot help but think that this was a deliberate attempt to embarrass me and cause strife between my wife and I. Amex is arguably in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and bankruptcy laws in trying to collect a 27 year old debt that was discharged in bankruptcy and is no longer a legal debt. The fact that I or my wife initiated the conversation probably lets them argue that they really weren't trying to illegally collect a forgiven debt, but any intelligent person can see their scam.Avoid Amex like the plague. All goes well until there is a hiccup, and then they will screw you every way they possibly can. I don't want an Amex card, and neither should you.

NEVER BUY ASUS EVER AGAIN, NO WARRANTY SUPPORT JUST WORDS.

Asus ROG phone 8 stuck in boot loop in under 6 months, and Asus tells me it's under warranty but I have to pay to have the warranty performed... They must want to sink their company as their customer service is a joke and utterly useless. NEVER BUY ASUS EVER!!!

reddit sucks I just simply offered a solution to the housing crisis and I was permanently banned . It was just a simple cartoon. They are so oversensitive and they suck. My post did not have any profanity, nudity, threats, nothing bad. My intention was to solve the housing crisis with a simple message Reddit . They are extremely oversensitive and unjust. What ever happened to due process? A warning first? No, none....they suck.Go to RUMBLE instead.... they loved ....my SAME post there.
