Adidas refuses to refund a gift card order after several months. Below is all the details of my experience.Date of Incident: April 2, 2024 - PresentDetails of Incident:On April 2, 2024, I placed three orders with Adidas through their online store. The details of these orders are as follows:• Order 1: $1,287.01 (Paid $1,250.00 with gift cards and $37.01 with a credit card)• Order 2: $1,287.00 (Paid $1,250.00 with gift cards and $37.00 with a credit card)• Order 3: $1,319.18 (Paid $1,250.00 with gift cards and $69.18 with a credit card)On April 24, 2024, I returned the items from all three orders. I used the shipping labels provided by Adidas and dropped off the packages at FedEx on the same day. I received an email confirmation from Adidas acknowledging that the items had been picked up by FedEx and were on their way back to Adidas.On May 5, 2024, I received another email from Adidas stating that the return process was taking longer than usual but that they would keep me updated. Since then, I have called Adidas customer service on June 11th, June 18th, June 25th, July 2nd, July 23, and August 1 to inquire about the status of my return. Unfortunately, I have not received any substantial updates. Each time, I was told that there were no new details and that they could not provide specific reasons for the delay.During my call on June 11th, I was informed that the return was processed and that they attempted to issue the new gift cards but encountered an error. They assured me they would try again. On June 18th, I received the same response, that they were trying to issue the gift cards again. Despite these assurances, I still have not received the gift card refunds.Adidas has already refunded the portions paid with my credit card, yet they have not refunded the amounts paid with gift cards. This inconsistency suggests that the return has been processed, and the delay in issuing the gift card refunds is unreasonable and inexplicable.Additionally, it is unacceptable that Adidas continues to give me the same response without any updates or progress. The fact that the situation has been ongoing for multiple months, and I am still receiving the same answer without any further details about the cause of the delay, reflects poorly on their customer service.This delay and lack of communication have caused significant inconvenience. The fact that Adidas has not provided any specific details about the cause of the delay, despite my numerous inquiries, is unacceptable.

I begged, pleaded, and damn near cried to the rep to cancel the McAfee subscription for about 13 minutes to no avail. I ended hanging up on her and calling my bank to cancel my debit card. I will NEVER do business with McAfee and I will always discourage any and everyone from doing business with them. It’s absolutely ridiculous that after begging them to cancel the subscription for over ten minutes I was refused.

I tried a free trial for an Adobe program (I think Acrobat?) and I tried to cancel the subscription online and the only option I had was to “update payment method”. I tried to cancel again in account settings, and it did not work. Today (11/24/24) I noticed I was charged $32.39 by Adobe so I contacted their customer service. Customer service told me that I cannot get a refund because my subscription is active after I literally told her initially I do not want the service, I’ve been trying to cancel it and I’d like a refund. After this, not only did “Pragya” attempt to upsell me buy giving me two “free” months (they keep my payment then give me 2 months for keeping instead of cancelling) then when I refused the upsell offer she wanted to know why I’m cancelling and follows it up with my account was charged on October 26th 2024 (I’m guessing when I initially started the free trial) so she cannot process my refund. So I sent her screenshots of the charge on my account from 5am this morning then she cancelled my subscription and processed my refund. I also asked for her manager’s contact info and she setup a callback for tomorrow morning, so we’ll see if Adobe management actually calls. Literally the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I used to work at a call center and that is not how you handle a billing issue.

It is not a news service, it’s a programme that tells you what they want you to hear. Very overpaid ‘celebrity’ staff. Cancelled all my TV licences now as I never watch live TV nor BBC iplayer. Also don’t listen to BBC radio anymore.

Much like many of the users here, I was permanently suspended for apparently violating terms of agreement?? I then read thoroughly the terms of agreement and found that I didn't violate anything with my activity. I asked what I violated and they will not provide an answer. Here is what they put in the email to me: "We have systems in place that monitor activity on Venmo, but please note that we don't reveal information about our internal systems in order to keep these systems robust. However, I'd recommend looking over our User Agreement for information on our policies surrounding acceptable use and high risk activity. (They provided a link to the terms of agreement but I can't post links here) I apologize that we're no longer able to assist you."I tried escalating it to someone who could do something and they won't get you in touch with anyone that can help. This lack of service has got me to cancel all my paypal accounts with them that i use for credit card processing and I will not use Venmo for my business profile which I had setup also. It is sad that they won't tell you what you did wrong when you ask them and they won't reactivate account.

TFL website is always experiencing technical difficulties, so imagine my frustration after registering for an account, the right thing to do, adding the vehicle and credit card details, [this took some time as you have to wait for the system to function again], only to find the details were not saved and you now have a £80 congestion charge which was the very thing you were trying to avoid, happy to pay the £10 account fee, they even said my vehicle was ULEZ compliant. Received a refund of £80.
