Adidas refuses to refund a gift card order after several months. The details of these orders are as follows:• Order 1: $1,287.01 (Paid $1,250.00 with gift cards and $37.01 with a credit card)• Order 2: $1,287.00 (Paid $1,250.00 with gift cards and $37.00 with a credit card)• Order 3: $1,319.18 (Paid $1,250.00 with gift cards and $69.18 with a credit card)On April 24, 2024, I returned the items from all three orders. I used the shipping labels provided by Adidas and dropped off the packages at FedEx on the same day. I received an email confirmation from Adidas acknowledging that the items had been picked up by FedEx and were on their way back to Adidas.On May 5, 2024, I received another email from Adidas stating that the return process was taking longer than usual but that they would keep me updated. Since then, I have called Adidas customer service on June 11th, June 18th, June 25th, July 2nd, July 23, and August 1 to inquire about the status of my return. Unfortunately, I have not received any substantial updates. Each time, I was told that there were no new details and that they could not provide specific reasons for the delay.During my call on June 11th, I was informed that the return was processed and that they attempted to issue the new gift cards but encountered an error. They assured me they would try again. On June 18th, I received the same response, that they were trying to issue the gift cards again. Despite these assurances, I still have not received the gift card refunds.Adidas has already refunded the portions paid with my credit card, yet they have not refunded the amounts paid with gift cards. This inconsistency suggests that the return has been processed, and the delay in issuing the gift card refunds is unreasonable and inexplicable.Additionally, it is unacceptable that Adidas continues to give me the same response without any updates or progress. The fact that the situation has been ongoing for multiple months, and I am still receiving the same answer without any further details about the cause of the delay, reflects poorly on their customer service.This delay and lack of communication have caused significant inconvenience. The fact that Adidas has not provided any specific details about the cause of the delay, despite my numerous inquiries, is unacceptable.
