I thought this would be the perfect site for all those movies I can't find anywhere else. However the search engine is useless, less than useless actually. I lucked out and found the original Shogun tv mini-series and tried to watch it but the buffering is ridiculous. You get a few seconds of play before it starts buffering again. Absolutely pointless.

I signed up for the 10 magazines over 10 weeks for £10 which I thought was great! I called in to cancel my subscription weeks before the end to ensure my account didnt roll over into the the standard price Direct debit of £65 a month. The advisor made notes on my account and assured me multiple times on the call that I would not pay the extra and my account would close... after a few weeks I get woken up by a messege alerting me that I have entered into my overdraft, £65 had been taken by new scientist...After calling in again the customer service team took full responsibility and apologised but said they couldn't repay me the overdraft charges and I'd have to wait days for the money to be re payed into my account, the best they could do would be the 23rd October.... I wait still no money, I called in today the 28th of October to be told I would have to wait 14 days!!!! For money to be placed into my account!!! I was then forwarded to a incompetent advisor who made out that this is what I had signed up for when I entered in my details!!! I am appalled by the Customer service, I have never experienced anything like it, I was laughing on the phone at the absolute lack of care the so called senior advisor had for me and my situation! I worked for British Telecom for 2 years and dealt with customers in billing on a daily basis we had extensive training on how to deal with situations like this and it seems that not one of the staff I had spoken to had recieved the correct training to deal with customers appropriately the service is absolutely shocking. I hope for your sake if you are reading this you never have to deal with New scientist customer service it is disgraceful.

Barnes and noble is selling pre orders that the do not have. Corporations need to be held accountable for their actions. You could spend hours on the phone bounced around from person to person and none of them can do anything!!!I have PRE-ORDERED 2 items in the last 2 months and have not received either one of them. First in early April release date April 22nd second I ordered April 22nd release date may 13th under the assumption that preorder was a guarantee to receive the item that's why we preorder.They gave me every excuse in the book. I ordered it and paid in store the day it was released. 1st they tried to tell me it wasn't released I pointed out that there's 100s of copies on ebay and book a million was selling it.. then a clerical error before they finally said "we sold out". I ordered it the day it was available!!!Bottom line is they are selling things they don't have.No big deal get a refund right?Well what that does is allow people to make promises that they can't make good on.So if a company pre-sales an item that they cannot guarantee and collects the money under the false pretense that you will get that item. The company is then free to use that money to build or invest.The problem with that is I didn't choose to buy stock in barnes and noble or agree to an interest free loan but that's exactly what happens. In the end what happens is I have no access to my money that they hold onto. Which in turn makes it so I am unable to obtain the item now because I didn't buy it somewhere else. Why would I? I pre-ordered it. Prices have soared on ebay and they sold out immediately.So barnes and noble takes the interest free loan and I have lost my opportunity to get the item.It's not even about the $30 it's about principle.

Purchased an instinct solar watch on the 26th of Dec and nearly 2 weeks later get an email saying they have cancelled the sale because of a technical error with the price. Tried to speak to them during the 2 weeks and all you get is that there is a warehouse problem and the watch will be dispatched shortly.Garmin have no idea of customer service at all .The worst company I have ever dealt with.What makes it worse is a percentage of people that purchased the same watch on the same day as I did have had their watches delivered!!Garmin really need to grow a set and honour the sales.The fact that Garmin are not replying to anyone says an awful lot about this cowboy bunch.

HelloI was charged for the next twelve months today, even though the subscription expires on March 3rd and I did not have the opportunity to cancel it. I thought I could cancel tomorrow.Furthermore, I didn't receive any notification that a payment is due earlier.In the app I am told that I have to make a refund via Google, but the item is not selectable.On the desktop my username doesn't seem to work.I kindly ask for a refund.

So I placed an order for one of my favorite restaurants, the order consisted of 3 items. After completing the order I forgot an item so I used the add on option which was available. The driver arrived on time and was friendly, but as I’m receiving my order I realized it was only one bag. Since the meals were in square Styrofoam containers there was no way the added on item could fit in that one bag with everything else. So I looked in the bag and then asked the driver where was the other item, he told me that the restaurant said everything was there. I then said no I’m missing the added on item, he said “yeah I seen that there was an add on there but they told me everything was correct and in the bag”. I didn’t get upset or mad because maybe they did tell him that. So I told the driver don’t worry about it I’ll just contact door dash to get it corrected. I opened the app an went through the refund process. A message popped up saying we’ve noticed you’ve had orders issues in the past we will have to review. I was like ok because I have had issues with orders not being delivered etc. then a few minutes go by and I was denied a refund. I then escalated the issue for further review. I went on about my day and did not open the app again until a day later because I honestly forgot about it and seen yet again another denial for a refund. So I contacted someone through chat, I explained the issue and was told they will look into it again. To be denied moments later. I asked what the issue was I pay for an item I have the bill statement to prove it and did not receive the item. He said something about the system not issuing out a refund or credit but wouldn’t go into detail. Now mind you it’s just 22 bucks but it’s my 22 dollars, if I paid for a service I should receive what I paid for. He told me there was nothing more he could do, so I told him thank you and that I was no longer using this service due to this happening far too often with my orders. My main issue through that long story was, how many people does this happen to. These food delivery companies are getting more expensive due to a lot of different factors but the mistakes are also going up. When you report the problem there isn’t a decent solution to fix it. I just want to make people aware of the problems you may face when using these services and their isn’t much help to resolve an issue when it happens.
