Review of guitarcenter
My cymbal broke and I had a gig coming up. I ordered a used cymbal to match my set, and paid for 2-day shipping. It was supposed to be delivered today, and instead at 2pm I received an email cancelling my order. Are you effing kidding??? Either the cymbal was already sold to someone else and I should have gotten a notice the day I ordered it, or it should have already been on the way. There is zero reason I should be getting a cancellation notice on the afternoon of the day the item should be arriving. Guitar Center is never seeing money from me again - this is the second time I have had a terrible experience with them. Stay away.

Total value promised circa £700. Total value assigned by Google £0Both returned without explanation as to why the value was zero pounds and zero pence Have a search on, Google actually, and you'll fundy experience is universal

I give the Journal 5 Stars for their high quality journalism. Of course, their in-house editorials and a couple of their columnist are very conservative, but it's their paper so that doesn't bother me. Otherwise, the Journal has become one of the few news products these days that retains traditional journalism ethical principles. They strive to write objective, balanced, well-researched articles and they succeed. Their editors must be demanding, smart, and usually right because I rarely find significant errors or sloppy writing and I've read the paper for most of the last 30 years. Even my beloved New York Times has started slanting their news articles more and more to support liberal, or at least left-of-center, political, social, and economic theories and beliefs. Even though I am a moderate Democrat and often agree with a left-of-center policy or political position, I am reading the newspaper for NEWS, not opinion. When it becomes increasingly difficult to differentiate the "news" from the "editorials" there's a problem. I gave the WSJ 4 stars because the customer service problems other folks have described are real. The Journal, well really it's Dow Jones & Co. and their parent company that somehow managed to maintain a terribly disorganized, ineffectual, unprofessional subscription and customer service for years! In the past two years they have (slowly) begun to improve, but they still have a ways to go, as evidenced by all the blunders and f-ups many, many people have described on this page.

the bring me the horizon concert for 2019 was absolutely amazing. the supporting acts of trophy eyes, Frank Carter and the rattlesnakes as well as You Me At Six were all incredible too. The merch lines weren't that long and you got in quick enough to buy everything you needed

Had good dealings with American Express in the past but not this time.Made an online purchase where the product has failed. Unfortunately the retailer has ceased trading so under the consumer rights act the credit card is jointly liable so i put in a section 75 claim.Unfortunately they worm their way out because I paid through PayPal!After this experience i will ditch Amex. Not that i believe the result would be any different with other credit cards, but Amex wasted nearly 2 months of my time getting me to send the same information over and over and OVER again when they already knew the outcome.Disgraceful...

Review of vrbo
As I'm sure many people have posted here, the site is full of bait and switch scammers, and vrbo is totally in colusion with the scammers and will do everything to avoid refunding, despite legal requirements to. They also apparently don't do any background checks on the hosts, because the person who scammed me has active criminal cases against him for the way he manages properties including poisoning the air and water of an entire town and arson, as well as civil cases for selling counterfeit products, injuries related to said products, and insurance fraud (see arson above). see Wired's "The Explosive Legacy of the Pandemic Hand Sanitizer Boom" for all the wild details of the man who scammed me.
