Review of royalcaribbean

Gone so far downhill

We have previously only cruised with RCCL and found them generally great but after a bad cruise in May I have been trying to sort the issue out with their customer service and either get zero reply to emails or told someone will call me back if I phone (and am on the phone for hours). My main issues are:- We booked as a group and had so many problems pre-cruise with being able to link our reservations and make food reservations. We also got incorrectly charged for things and I’ve lost count of how much time was spent first trying to speak to someone and then get a consistent answer when we finally did get hold of someone - My son was only 2 and we were charged for him as a third person in our room despite there being next to no facilities for him. The pool for toddlers is the size of a puddle. Next to it is a shallow pool with low slides fed from the same water but unless a child is fully potty trained they can’t use any pool except the puddle, even if wearing proper swim nappies. It allowed me to book the North Star for him but when we turned up he wasn’t allowed to go on that either for no apparent reason. Apart from a tiny soft play inside there was nothing at all for him on board despite the fact you pay the same for him as you would any third person in a room.- The quality and choice of food in the buffet restaurant has gone downhill and there was very little choice for kids beyond burgers and nuggets . We always upgrade as we love the restaurants but they again charged for my two year old and then said the fee would be refunded. It took many trips to customer services to try and sort that out and then I was told that they would eventually refund the fee but would instead charge a surcharge for him each time we visited a speciality restaurant.- Our cabin was at the back of the ship so we had a good view but it was covered in dirt from the exhaust. The cabin was also smaller and had far less storage than usual.- We all paid for and took our negative covid tests with us onboard as instructed but boarding in Civitavecchia was an awful process that took hours. Many passengers were just walking straight past the people checking their Covid tests and they did nothing about it.- My Son developed a cold while we were on board and we took him to the medical facility. They tested him for covid and he was negative but we were told we had to isolate for 24hrs anyway. We asked why given he had a negative test three days before when we boarded and again on that day and we’re told it was protocol. Whilst in the medical bay a man walks in without a mask and said he was there for a covid test as his wife had Covid. He apparently didn’t need to isolate and was free to walk around the ship without a mask. My Son had a negative covid test again the next day and we were then set free after more than 24hrs. Ironically we all tested positive the day after the cruise so clearly picked it up on board. I don’t mind rules when they’re there for a reason but these seem ridiculous as we were isolated but others weren’t and were free to spread it round the ship. Our Son has disabilities so being stuck in a cabin with him with nothing to do was awful. We had to fight customer service to get 24hrs of free Wi-Fi which they eventually approved but added to the bill anyway.- We had non-stop issues with the billing and despite having the drinks package found quite a few times we had unexplained charges on our account. When we enquired we were told that someone in the bars had pressed the wrong button by mistake……I wonder how often this happens. We spent so much time queuing for customer services it was ridiculous. We were given a 24hr cruise credit for our Son for his isolation period. We argued that we should get refunded too given we had to be with him and they did give in. At the end of the cruise after having encountered all these issues and with a bill that was still wrong we spoke with customer services again and were offered a 20% cruise credit or a lower amount off the bill. We took the cruise credit given the higher amount however stupidly didn’t get anything in writing. I was told customer service would be in touch and issue the credits automatically.I have lost count of the number of times I have contacted RCCL over the past three months and have been ignored or fobbed off. I’ve sent pictures of the letter I have with all three of our names on giving the original cruise credit and also explained that we were then offered a 20% off one and have been told they apparently have no trace of it. I gave the names of the people we spoke to including the Manager and was just told that staff move around between ships and it may be too late to speak to them now and if they couldn’t track them down it was too late to do anything - it’s too late because RCCL AWFUL customer service has taken so long. They’re also now arguing the cruise credit I have in writing. AWFUL experience.

Excellent Start-up Assistance to New Customer

I'm a new MailerLite customer, and am decidedly not super tech-savvy! I had numerous snags in getting my subscriber list transferred and understanding various aspects of the content generation for my first campaign. The ML support staff were super helpful, sharing specific suggestions and, importantly, the screen shots and videos that made it easier for me to solve my problems. Generally, the response was pretty timely, though when you've got a deadline, time slows down. My only suggestion would be to send an automated reply if you are closed, or on the weekend when hours are less, etc to let the customer know what's happening. Overall, a great experience - thanks!

Utter terrible.

Utter terrible.The camera overheats, battery doesn’t last more than 20 mins unless it’s in cold water. Camera will get stuck and refuse to work. They sign you up to their cloud subscription.Last year I was in Spain during the renewal and their website wouldn’t let me cancel because I wasn’t in my home country. So just tried to cancel again and their cloud system only lets you download 25 images at a time. If you have more that 25 in a folder you have to manually click and download.Can you imagine how long that all takes?Well it meant I was cutting it fine to cancel in time.I finally got there and the website wouldn’t let me cancel and it was Saturday so they had no customer service.I called on Monday and despite web page saying it will take 5 mins for someone to phone you it took about 40 mins.The lady said no we don’t give refunds can I offer you some plastic handle?!???Bizarre I was like well I tried to cancel and it wouldn’t so I’m calling you now you are open surely you can close it and refund for me that’s what customer service is for?No she couldn’t and wouldn’t so I asked for a manager and she promised I’d get a call in 24 hours.Nearly 48 hours later I get a call and it’s the same crap- no we don’t give refunds it’s your job to cancel.I said I did try to but it wouldn’t work. Oh my days these guys are sent to test humanity! Avoid avoid avoidI’m soo disappointed why have customer service staff that cannot give any service. I’d love to get a response and a refund but I doubt that’s on the horizon.

How do you qualify a company that suspends your store anytime for no reason, makes it impossible to contact a human customer representative, and ultimately rejects your appeal with an arrogant tone, as if you requested to be a member of a private VIP club? Many endured that before me, and many more will do for I don't know how many years until that rubbish company will pay for its attitude. Until then, I advise myself and everyone else to invest time and money in having something we own instead of such a delusional marketplace. You might be non-tech-savvy, you might want to avoid higher upfront fees, and you might find the whole process daunting, but you won't wake up one day to a suspended account with tons of your hard work and reputation ruined randomly, instantly, forever.Etsy: You are a disgust to business.

Microsoft: Founded Based on Piracy.

As a Systems Engineer, developer and more, I can tell that Microsoft is one of the worstest companies ever.They don't care about their users anymore, their products are full of bloatwares, trackers, spywares, flaws, bugs, etc...everything bad that some can think about a software.There was a time when they were doing things right, but I guess those developers or personel were fired and they hired developers and personnel with very poor knowledge that tried to modify things that were working, not excellent, but well, just to "improve" or set "new features" on their new spyware versions of windows.Microsoft is failing because most of their "new ideas" are just a copy-paste code from the best operating systems ever: UNIX, Linux and Mac. If we go back in history, Bill Gates stole the source code from IBM when he was working for them, did a few changes to the code and set an user interface. This is how Microsoft was really founded, based on Piracy, and they still doing it, stealing code and ideas from others making them as their own.Nowadays, I consider these new versions of windows as I wrote before: spyware and a pc virus. No need to infect a pc when is already infected with the windows virus from Microsoft.In my years of experience, I have seen many users investing their working-time struggling with errors in windows than working.What has been the solution for this and has worked as an excellent option for them?...change to Linux or if they can afford a Mac, then change to Mac. Also has worked well for some companies too. So, Microsoft, let me tell you that if you think that you're doing things right and everything is working well with the users, you're living in a Fantasy World, because is totally the opposite.

I am beyond fuming, I am not well so thought I would order a chicken crown to make a roast dinner tomorrow.. I ordered potatoes, bananas, carrots, bread, wraps for packed lunch. The chicken has today's date on it. Janine call handler said "it is in date and can be used until the end of the day! am I supposed to cook a roast at 9:30pm.All the perishables are perishing either today or by Monday. This is the second time something similar had happened. The potatoes, bananas and carrots conveniently have no best by date and are all sweating and rotting in bags. What's more of a kick in the teeth is you pay more for each item than in store so why are we getting stuff that should be reduced!!

Snapchat used to be soo great..

Snapchat used to be soo great around 2016 up until the last 2 years. Now people who use Snapchat have an ‘AI’ that can not be removed. I’ve even subscribed to Snapchat+ and you still can’t remove it apart from accessing a few more AI features. Furthermore the AI seems to be tripping out with the creepy information it can say.. example would be knowing your location even though your settings are private, can see everything you’re doing on and off the app. Then suddenly it acts like it wasn’t spoken about at all. Probably better if Snapchat make having an AI optional instead of forcing it onto everyone’s accounts.

Ordered set of placemats for MIL 4/29 delivery stated 5/9 in time for mother's day. NOPE... nothing, now states delivery 5/11-NOPE double checked tracking number only states "label created"---- called customer service, tried to talk to a "person" from ??? could not understand her... read from a script sorry, we can cancel the order or have co. reship, delivery date will be 5/29!!!! ONE MONTH from order date, totally waste of my money for mother's day. I used to love Macy's--- but it's no wonder stores are closing, the customer service is no longer -it's 3rd world gibberish!.
