I used to have a facebook account for a long time. I deleted due to the constant violations they kept giving me due to political posts even though what I was saying was true! Needless to say it's been years since I had an account. My daughter recently asked me to get back on, so I did! No political posts just me being me comical. Not even two days and they suspended my account! No violations, no warnings.....NOTHING! I will not appeal and should have stayed off because I knew they are garbage! Never again!

Spent a weekend here and (after requesting to be away from the elevator), I was put right near the elevator and given a hotel with bugs and dust everywhere. The mirror light in the bathroom was broken as well as the lamp shade and light (which was missing a CHUNK out and I had to unplug because I thought it would start a fire). The floor was extremely loud where I wasn't able to have meetings and the tv audio was sporadic and the visual had huge lines through it. What a shock! On top of the terrible hotel service, I have tried multiple times calling IHG and have been transferred countless times to a supervisor where it has been disconnected. Terrible hotel and customer service. I will not be back.

Horrible customer experience

Horrible customer experience. Bought 3 Ironwolf drives, and one of them started dying after only a year. Now I go to return it, and I have to pay for international shipping myself. Just checked, and WD provides prepaid shipping for RMA orders.

Review of seagate

Terrible.

Terrible. My external drive stopped working after a few months of owning because the USB was unplugged accidentally while in use, causing the reader to get stuck. They purposefully design the device to be extremely hard to get into to try and fix yourself. Do not trust their drives to backup your data or have anything of value stored on the drive. 4 hours of customer support trying to use my warranty they made me go through hoops and bounds to get a "destruction certificate" because I was unwilling to send a recoverable backup of my entire computer to them. They then gave me the certificate which is a really strange contract to sign, essentially told me to remove the drive and ship them back plastic at my expense to receive a replacement. I tried to reason with them how illogical this is both shipping back plastic and the destruction cert only to get the same faulty model and I was not willing to waste anymore time relying on their awful business practices. TLDR; I will never use another Seagate product and I will chalk this up as $120 lost. Advising anyone looking to buy any type of storage to shop elsewhere.

The Great White Hype

Affinity 24 used to be called Cutting Edge Bank Cards Services. This is a company that pays a man more money than a women for doing the exact same job. This is a Christian CEO and a Christian company? This is a company that you had to work “FIVE” years to get paid for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, 4th of July , Memorial Day and New Years. That's not very Christian. Sounds like cheap. I remember two days before my 90 day period was up I was told I would have to pay more money for my medical insurance plan because of my age. I was told I was older and therefore will cost them more to insure me. Also at time of hire I was told I would be given a 401K to start. NEVER RECEIVED ONE. Is that Christian like? I look back fondly at our employee meeting we had when Mr. CEO was screaming and using 4 letter words. He would sign a merchant and try to make the employees buy the products. This merchant sold this horrible tasting coffee. The CEO tried to get us to buy into a $200.00 package of coffee and then sell it. One employee was actually loyal to this idiot CEO to buy it. And of course, couldn't sell the coffee and was stuck with it. Another meeting was when Mr. CEO wanted to put down people with college degrees. He didn't have one, what did he care. He went around the room asking people if they had a business would they hire a person with or without a degree? This is his arrogance. Since Mr. CEO dropped out shy of one class to get himself an Associate degree. Probably finger painting. And I just happened to be the only person in the meeting who did have a degree. Three degree's actually. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. He didn't have a high regard for education that day. But on the other hand, he sends his son's to college. I wonder if his Son's first employer interview will ask his son's why the company should employ someone with a degree? CHRISTIAN? NO...ANTI CHRIST? YES! When you have to work 5 years to be paid for Christmas? Is that a Christian? And you call yourself a Christian? You got some nerve.

Mi smart pen gen 1 is literally a trash. The sensitivity of mi pad 5 is terrible as well. How can the pad detected and showed I wrote something on it when I have not touched the pad. The support team just said it is normal but how come it is normal. Would u get something on the paper even when your pen does not even touch the paper lol. It is a costly lesson. Never buy Xiaomi product and never use them.

Mega Extortion: Pay to Recover Files or Face Deletion

This morning I received an email from Mega warning me my account will shut down in 44 days unless I upgrade. The email informed me I'd received two prior emails warning me of such in November and December. I didn't see the emails or I would have responded. I'm assuming they were filtered out to my junk email box even though I received this morning's email in my inbox. I can't explain any of this I'm not a techno whizz, or even the average tech user, just the type of older tech user whose family has to set up her accounts. My son setup my Mega account and set it to auto upload. Unbeknownst to me Mega has been uploading every piece of junk photo I have taken, or cut and paste, to put in posts, before I get round to deleting. It had overrun the free 50gb limit by 2gbs. I didn't receive any notifications through the apps, nor saw any emails. In the last few months I've had to deal with illness and, last December, hospitalization leading to death, of a close family member, who I was looking after, which has had an impact on my family over the last few months.None of this is Mega's fault or responsibility but the lack of care and consideration when I replied to their emails this morning, is.After receiving their first email, this morning, I had to ask my son's help to download what was contained in the Mega account before it is deleted, but Mega has frozen any activity on the account. We can't download or delete files, only pay to access my account before deletion. Basically, the 44 days is to stew in the idea of paying up, not transferring your files before shut down. The first email I wrote to them was to explain I knew nothing of the shutdown but wanted to know how I could recover my files before deletion. I received what look like an automated response in reply. It didn't answer my question but told me how to recover my account using the recovery key. I wrote again to them explaining that I have not been aware of any warning emails they sent me, that my son set up my account and that I wanted a chance to respond, delete down to 50gb, to save my account, or be able to recover my files now that I knew. They responded fairly quickly informing me that I knew the rules and regulations, that I had signed an agreement and I was lucky I was not been charged the full arrears for having had the extra time for holding an extra two gigabytes of what had overrun my account before it was suspended!I responded mentioning the death in my family, with shame at having even to bring that up, and that I would have to find another way to save my files before they delete. I don't think either of their email responses to me warrants me paying them anything. The only thing that could be said of their customer service is the speed of their responses, the rest has just left me feeling awful. My son says it's like dealing with ransomeware, if they give you 44 days, but no chance to get back your files, before deletion, without paying. You have no choice but to pay up or lose everything. It's not much but it still feels like extortion. When you put 'Mega complaints' into Google, Trustpilot comes up top of the list. It appears I can't even complain to Mega formally, this is the only place I can complain. If anyone can help, or give advice as to what to do next, I'd be very grateful.

Strong Platform

It's a strong competitor to Steam. While not as complete in features and with fewer releases available, it has several advantages: 1) more retro games; 2) a DRM-free policy; 3) integrations with other gaming platforms; 4) customer-friendly support (very much in contrast to Steam); and 5) more close alignment with the gaming community.
