I generally like watching the BAFTA awards, but tonight’s is the worst I have ever seen. The Aussie host does not dot it justice nor does the production of it.Come BBC your standards are well below what the paying public expect, so either improve or drop the license fee. As a pensioner who watch lots of tv you are well lacking behind the other providers, I cannot finance pay tv who I understand are very good but you need to up our game.

Once a beacon of impartial journalism, the BBC has increasingly faced criticism for biased reporting and selective narratives. Coverage of major events, such as Brexit and the Israel-Palestine conflict, has sparked accusations of favoritism, eroding public trust. Internal reports, like the Serota Review, have highlighted concerns over impartiality and editorial standards. Audience figures show a decline in viewership, with many turning to alternative news sources for balanced perspectives. Sadly, what was once a gold standard in journalism is now struggling to maintain its credibility in an era of media polarization.

Review of att
None of the customer service reps have English as a primary language. I had trouble understanding them due to their accents. I dealt with 5 reps in the past two days. If a person does not speak accent free English they should not be talking to English speaking Americans. Move the call center back to the United States. ATT used to be synonymous with great customer service; not any more.
Review of philips
I bought 2 Philips espresso/coffee machines and both are now defect.- Senseo Sarista (price: 300 euro). Defect after 3 years.- Philips 3000 series, HD8824/01 (price: 300 euro). Defect after 2.5 years.Warranty is 2 years, so in both cases I had no rights whatsoever. I contacted Philips about this, but they did not want to repair for free. They could not tell me how much the repair was gonna cost me. If I agreed to repair, then I had to pay 2 times for the shipment (15 euro) and 35 euro investigation costs. Of course I did not agree with that cause in the worst case scenario the repair costs would be to high and then I lost 50 euro and still have a defect product. They gave me an other option as well and that was a 40% discount coupon. Sounds reasonable, but I will explain why it’s not so great. First of all you have to use that coupon in their own webshop. They use mainly suggested retail prices (so it’s way overpriced). Second of all, it only counts for items in stock. Guess what, only 10% of all products are in stock. Even if you find a product for a decent price, then you should ask yourself why buy another Philips product if it’s lifetime is only 2-3 years where the customer service fails if their products are broken. In my case, I will never buy any Philips products again. Please be careful!

Rubbish. Laptop started to have problems with starting up just after 1 year of purchase. Bios issue, it would intermittantly start up, I believe this is something to do with using the main battery as the Bios power, but I could be wrong, anyway, laptop is useless without it being fixed. I tried getting suppport but was told I would need to buy their extended warranty, little did I know that their standard warranty covers hardware parts for 3 years and not one.Anyway, I paid the £80 discounted warranty, and they did a telephone support call, tried to fix, mucked about with a bios update, next day it went back to the same issue.HP took it away, sent it back, saying they had reseated the battery, and they were "Absolutely confident that the problem had been resolved and there was not hardware issues present".Today I turn it on, two days after receiving this piece of junk back (No, I'm using an MSI laptop right now, not the HP one), and get the same error. Its the weekend, they dont do support on the weekend, but on Monday, I'm going to call them and tell them to take their piece of junk back, the laptop I am using right now is 8 years old, never skipped a beat.Im very, very unhappy with HP, I would never buy anything from them again, I had a HP printer and that was rubbish too, bought 10 year old Xerox laser printer to replace and am very happy now.
