They wanted me to write a review for a startup I use. I completed the review.. took 20 minutes. They denied it because they didn't like it. Literally. Then I adjusted it, then they claimed I didn't put my LinkedIN profile. I don't use LinkedIn, I don't need it, I am not a chump corporate shmuck.-Maybe list your nonsense requirements .. so you stop wasting peoples' time.

Booked accomodation with Agoda via Trip advisor, recently seen the same accommodation with Agoda via Trip advisor considerably cheaper, eventually managed to contact Agoda via email in order to claim a refund for the difference, sorry I ever bothered, some 40 emails, 10 screenshots and 5 URL,s later, I've given up. Different agents reply saying we need this & that , it doesn't fit the criteria send us this, one agent Tabish said it was a legitimate claim but required further information, this I sent only for another agent to say you need to send other information, That's a day of my life I won't get back. DONT BOTHER.

Hi Took out a subscription trial, which at the time said you can cancel at any point.... But when you actually try and cancel the only means is to phone a number which they don't appear to ever answer and when requesting a call back (an option they give you when you phone the number through an automated answer phone message) they don't call you back either have been waiting 4hrs plus.... truly awful customer service.

Preply activated a recurring payment without my consent, violating EU transparency laws. When I contested it, support assured me I’d be refunded. But then they only issued a partial refund. When I asked explanation they cited non-refundable “administrative fees”, which was never been told to me by the Customer Care chat. That’s against EU consumer rights, where all deductions must be clearly communicated, so the customer can make an informed choice about the refund. This reeks of shady, US-style practices with hidden charges and no transparency. They should learn that in the EU there are a couple of Laws protecting customers. I’m filing a police report and disputing the transaction. Use Preply for the first lesson if you must, then arrange sessions directly with the tutor to avoid being scammed by their fees.
