Great help from Chess.com Support!

Josh is a friend and fellow member (Platinum) on chess.com. Josh is severely disabled: he cannot speak, cannot use his legs and right arm, and has only slight use of the thumb and forefinger of his left hand. This allows him to play chess via the touchscreen of his iPad, which he does with great enthusiasm! A few days ago, the iPad was dropped and destroyed, and knowledge of his chess.com password was lost with it. Consequently, although provided with a new iPad, he could not sign into his account, could not continue his work on Puzzles and Lessons, and could not continue with the 26 Daily Chess games he had in progress. As a (Diamond) member, I contacted Chess.com Support about the situation and received a reply next day from Kayt. One member attempting to act for another member (who cannot be contacted directly!) naturally raises security questions. Kayt found ways to resolve the issues and help Josh successfully regain his account. I cannot thank her enough for her kind, patient, and resourceful help. And thanks to Chess.com Support as well!

Do not use, complete waste of time and money

Dreadful platform and even worse customer support.Tried utilising it for marketing to my subscribers and they blocked my account saying that the email content was spam - told them it was a actively subscribed list of contacts and the support did nothing to help, complete waste of time and money.

Will use A.I. to scan your account and IMMEDIATELY suspend you. You will ask them why you were suspended and they will respond something along the lines of "read our community guidelines". All I have is a landing page and apparently that's enough to get you flagged, luckily theres plenty of alternatives

Long relationship with an extremely unfortunate end

I received an email that my account passcode had been changed along with a number to call if I did not change it. I have not changed it so I called AT&T and the representative assist me to secure my account. Unfortunately, it appeared that an estranged family member who I was still paying for a cell phone had changed the code, I reached out to that family member and asked them to please open up their own account within the next two days so that I could remove their line from my account. The next day I received two emails from AT&T one my passcode has been changed again and the other one bill me for over $1400, and indicating that my monthly bill had gone up by $160 more than what I was already paying. I called AT&T to let them know that I had not changed the code or made the charges and report fraud. I was on the phone with AT&T for over an hour and a half, including time with a supervisor. They said that the charges shouldn’t have been allowed to be made since no one is authorized on my account and the account is in my name only however they refuse to remove the charges and told me that I needed to file a civil complaint with the police department. Said the charges were made at an authorized dealer, and therefore they didn’t have access to any of the information about the charges and couldn’t tell whether or not the device that was bought in my name was taken from the store or just an order that was placed. They told me the only way they could remove the charges if the phone is returned, even though they didn’t know whether or not the phone had actually been taken with the person who made the charges, they told me that they do not have any responsibility to maintain security on my account and that anyone who has a line on my account has access to change the code anytime they choose, and therefore make changes to the account and apparently purchases. I asked about canceling the line and they told me that would accelerate the charges and I would owe them the charges in full at the time of cancellation. They flag anyway, so there was no way for me to protect my account and make sure that this doesn’t happen again without paying $1400. I did contact the police department who was able to determine that an order was placed for a new phone at an AT&T store, not an authorized retailer, so I’m unsure why AT&T wasn’t able to provide me with any information including what device was purchased, what changes were made to my account, what store the device was purchased or ordered at or any other information. Fortunately, they were able to talk to my family member, and I’m hopeful that this will be resolved without too much trouble. I still don’t know what changes were made to my account to increase the monthly bill to $368 a month from the $220 a month but it was, and I suppose I will have to wait to see how that plays out. I did also file a fraud claim with AT&T. You aren’t able to speak with anybody in that department, and instead have to file an online claim before you can speak to anyone, so I have no information about that as of yet. It’s remarkable that someone with no authorized access to my cell phone account was able to go into an AT&T store and make changes to my AT&T plan and also buy a new $1400 phone on my credit and my name without me being aware of it, and AT&T refuses to take any responsibility for the charges or the security of my account. Obviously, as soon as I can get a different service, I will do so. I’ve been with AT&T for about 20 years.

Disgusting and disappointing service from Amazon – still no refund for undelivered iPhone

I ordered an iPhone 16 Plus from Amazon on Saturday 7th June, with the delivery clearly stated for Monday 9th June. That delivery never happened.Instead, I received a vague message saying there was an issue and I’d be informed once the item was out for delivery. No follow-up came. When I checked my orders online, it said the item was damaged and returned to the warehouse — and yet I’d received no proper explanation or communication from Amazon.I contacted customer service and was called by a representative who tried to cancel and reorder, but apparently even their own system wouldn’t allow it. I was told I would be refunded within 3–5 working days, but then got transferred to someone else who told me I actually wouldn’t receive the refund until 23rd June.So let me get this straight: a company as massive as Amazon takes £800, fails to deliver the product, offers conflicting information, and then expects me to wait over two weeks for a refund for their error?This is completely unacceptable. The lack of accountability, communication, and efficiency is shocking. I’m still out of pocket, with no phone and no firm resolution.Disgusting and disappointing service. Amazon, you can do far better than this — and frankly, for a company of your size, there’s no excuse.I have ordered and received the phone from elsewhere. I will never buy anything like this from Amazon again.

I will never order again! I specifically chose a T-shirt, sneakers and socks. The store accepted the order and the money. Four days later they wrote: "Your order has been shipped. And an hour later they sent a message that they could not fulfill part of the order. And I would not receive the sneakers. Why would I need socks and a T-shirt without sneakers?

Ordered a Christmas gift on 19th December that both the website and subsequent email confirmed would be delivered before 24th December. Since then, I have heard nothing. On calling the helpdesk for online orders, I get an automated message saying they are now closed for the holidays (24th December, 3pm). Dreadful service. I will not use again.

Dont fall for the trap of cheap courses Domestika offers because there is a big catch to it. The cheap course is meant only to capture your payment information, such as your credit card or debit card. Then they will forcibly enroll your account into their Domestika Plus without you knowing it. After some time, which in my case, after two years of not logging in, they will charge you almost $200. You cannot escape this charge unless you deactivate your card because they have captured your payment information already. You cannot deactivate your membership to them and you cannot also remove your payment information from their website so they can charge your card anything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THIS WILL COST YOU MORE LATER WITH THEIR SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE.

My package was misdelivered by FEDEX

My package was misdelivered by FEDEX. It took me a few weeks to get that information for Alli. They have the worst customer service. I have received the same cut and paste answer each time. FedEX needs a a release from the shipper in order to proceed with my claim and Alli will not supply me with that. I am out 282.15 due to no help from Alli or their reseller. They are the worst I have ever dealt with. No help what so ever!

Rope you into annual subscription that is tricky and pricey to cancel

They set up an annual subscription very sneakily and now I'm £72 out of pocket for a service I could only have a maximum of 20 downloads. Scam. Don't get your images from here. They make it hard to cancel as well.
