The online chat .I'm trying to set up 3rd party pickup. Even though I chose the Merrillville, Indiana, location that I ordered merchandise from, I was redirected to the contact the Merrillville location for pickup information. A little frustrating.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company - they expect you to wait in from 7am until 10pm and they won't tell you a more refined expected delivery time. I'm often up overnight. I explained my problem, so called Advisors, immediate Managers and Senior Management all insisted that they wouldn't budge an inch to advise of a delivery time or at least a realistic window. I wasn't asking them to alter their route, just simply to advise me in good time of when they planned to turn up. About 2 hours before the delivery window they allocated a two hour window. No good as by then I hadnt been able to work out how to manage my day and factor in sleep bearing in mind I'd been up all night. As a result I fell asleep and missed the delivery. They say that they sometimes have a time window that you can pay for - I wasn't offered that or I would have gladly took the price of that into account in deciding whether Amazon were a good fit for my needs.People have busy lives and don't always have people to wait in or neighbours that they can trust. I live rurally and my local shop does not act as a parcel drop off point. This has all cost me £30 extra today in terms of missing my grocery shopping and having to get a evening taxi to pick up supplies to tide me over until tomorrow and in paying for a disposable vape I would not have otherwise needed.So much for low prices and they have the gall to describe themselves as "customercentric" they couldn't give a flying fig about customers. Additionally, they did leave some of my order beside my wheely bin but part of it was an expensive vaping kit. Hilariously, they mixed the packages up, held back the charger (they are specialist batteries that have to be charged in a proper charger) and delivered the vape. They can't even follow the law.

Bought for life

I bought my beard shaver 18 years ago (Oct. 2006, I still have my receipt, no model visible, 60 euros back then). Minimal maintenance, survived me moving house 9 times or more. Probably not the smoothest shave in the market but good enough for me. Battery still chargeable although I haven't tested how long does it last. Of course this *might* not reflect their current product quality, but I really hope it does because I love sturdy appliances.

The bol.com offered a Select subscription and they extra charge me for nothing.

The bol.com offered me a select subscription "Kobo Select" one year ago. After one year, while checking my card balance I saw that they automatically charged me back with another 9.99 Euro for the next subscripton date. After several tries to engage via their useless chat system I succeed to discuss with one of the consultants that they could not help me as "we do not have the authorization". I have requested a solution and they said that they communicated to another colleague to contact me. I found the cancellation button and ordered the cancelation. They did not give me the discussed chat and also they consistently close the chat windows. After 16 days they have sent me another invoce plus a "Reminder Fee" for 3.50 Euro saying that this subscription was requested too late and that the invoice was already in the system. I strongly advise avoiding this kind of scammers and doubtful services. No customer service, no transparency, extra charges for incompetency.

Scummy business practices and neverending subscription

There will be a ton of popup offers to buy extra features or wsj+. Before subscribing they paywall after the middle of the article. They will make very enticing offers for 1$ the first 2 months followed by 10$ per month. Currently it is incredibly difficult to unsubscribe, however, so you might be put in the situation of needing to pay the 10$ subscription for many months. There is however one hack: Change the billing address to somewhere in California and then you can very easily unsubscribe via the website.

Disgraceful Shipping Times

I have ordered a number of times from Thomann and their service has been slowly gettting poorer and poorer. A couple of years ago, orders would take maybe a week max to come to Ireland, now a small order I made on Stephens day(26/12/24) still has not arrived. This is simply disgraceful, considering that Thomann told me it would take 6-9 days to arrive and considering I paid 15 euro for shipping!

I purchased a bespoke 4 door French refrigerator via Home Depot on August 6th, 2023, and I excepted the delivery date of September 27th, 2023. I get a voice message on September 22nd, 2023, stating to call Samsung regarding the model not available. I call today and still have to find out if it the panels or the refrigerator itself that not available. I have already paid for the refrigerator in good faith. Long story short all customer service wants me to do is cancel my order and reorder another fridge that is more expensive. I have a new delivery date of 11/22-2023 and I am waiting again 4 days prior to delivery same voice message. Let see if Samsung surprised me and actually follow thru on is this really a bait and switch tactic..SAMSUNG CORPORATE COMPLAINT DESK HELPED ME775---256---6263

Coinbase is a platform many of my friends use and it works well when it is installed but the issue with is about detecting phone numbers as virtual while they are not. I have tried to install coin base using my phone numbers but still it cannot. It keeps saying that my numbers are virtual while they are physical phone numbers with physical sim card.

Very Good!

I'm using the free version, which is extremely good at blocking the most annoying and intrusive ads on a variety of platforms. There was a period it didn't work for YouTube, but it seems the talented developers have gotten around the issues and it's working again. Couldn't recommend this more! Well done team AdBlock Plus!
