BBC has the most biased reporting

BBC has the most biased reporting. Also, some of their reporters are simply stupid. See the coverage of Hamas attack of Israel on October 7, 2023. I don't know why they have a broadcast in US through PBS.

Review of mcafee

Paid for 12 months .... got 10.5 ! Customer Service very poor.

Customer service is very poor. I contacted them to ask why I was receiving notification my McAfee anti virus protection had expired 6 weeks before the anniversary of the installation date, they confirmed I had no current protection but were unable to resolve it, therefore I paid for 12 months and actually received 10.5 months. Email received today saying case will be closed in 48 hrs .... they were supposed to contact me to resolve!Fortunately, my computer was not infected or damaged as a result. Absolutely appalling, I would not recommend them.

Review of bol

Terrible service.

We recently bought a pool robot from Bol.com. The amount went off my wife’s bank account. The transaction was then cancelled by Bol for some reason. We have been trying to get the refund, but they are just ignoring us after quite a few requests. I don’t like going public with poor service, but in this case they have left me with no option.

Review of parallels

I love Parallels

I love Parallels! It allows me to run essential Windows and older Mac OS apps on my MacBook Pro which would otherwise be incompatible. For such a complex and powerful piece of software, it is comparatively easy to set up and I have virtual machines with windows XP and 10, plus older versions of Mac OS which I can launch easily, & without rebooting. The "Parallels Tools" for Mac is a great bonus too, adding powerful utilities to clean up my hard drive etc.In my opinion, it is also great value for money!

Disgraceful approach to NT members…

Disgraceful approach to NT members regarding access to the NT sites now lock-down is easing. Like many others i have been a family member for many years and i accepted my membership could not be utilised during lockdown - but i still continue to pay the fees. Now the NT is opening sites, members are given no consideration for the ongoing commitment to paying into the NT coffers, with no priority booking in place. The booking system leaves us hanging on to a spinning website wheel of doom when trying to book in advance for a date i have to pick - even though no-one knows the state of the weather or indeed if i will be able to make it to the site within 10minutes of my booking time (or potentially be turned away at the gates!). inevitably.. the date and time i can commit to (i am not retired so my choices are limited) are fully booked. Thanks NT for giving back to your loyal membership. I will be cancelling my subscription as no doubt will many others.

Review of domain

Backorder Fraud

I wanted to use them to negotiate a domain purchase through Domain.com via their backorder service. Only after the fact did I find out that they only update on you on the domain negotiation if the entity which holds the domain responds. They won't tell you if they reached out or if that person did not respond (other services do this). when I asked for a refund they refused. As far as I know, they don't even provide this service.

Review of coinbase

Coinbase has lawsuits against them. They scammed me.

Coinbase scammed me and my referral to get our personal information. They have it in the app where you can “invite friends” and both of you receive $20 in bitcoin. After the person signs up, uploads their license, add a payment method and purchase crypto for $20. She did everything on 1/20/25. They have her money on hold until 1/28/25 so she can’t get her money back after they lied to us. And the crypto can’t be returned during the wait. Both of us received emails saying “your reward is here” but nothing is in either of our accounts. I received the same email saying the reward is here yesterday as well. She used my referral link. And when you click on it, it shows $20 for me and her in bitcoin after she does all of the above that they require. I reached out but Coinbase doesn’t have a phone number to call. It says their number is only for outgoing calls. The email response says their email address is not monitored and to go online. The online chat is a bot, no human ever answers. When I selected request a call back, I was emailed a code. Someone called at 1:01am the other day when I was asleep. They had no intentions of reaching me. And this is 2 days after my initial contact. 2 days ago, I had to go to instagram to get a reply from a human! At first they said wait 48 hours after she did everything and let them know if it’s still not there. I did that and then they claimed they needed my address verified and only accepted my bank statement. After it was verified, now they’re saying “you’re not eligible for this feature on Coinbase”. I repeatespy asked why am I not eligible? They keep sending me a link to the website but no explanation (all of this is on instagram messenger). If I’m ineligible, why wouldn’t she at least receive her $20 in bitcoin? Why didn’t they tell me that when I first reached out? There’s absolutely no reason I shouldn’t be eligible for the reward. Coinbase scammed us just to get our personal information. My referral is not into crypto or stocks and only signed up for me to get my bitcoin. She does not want the account and wants her $20 back since they are liars. They have both of our social security numbers now. This is fraud! It is false advertising to consumers and lying. I gave her the $20 to pay them so it’s my money that was used via her checking account. Either they give us both the $20 in bitcoin that was promised or refund the $20 they forced her to pay for rewards we did not get. They are liars! And have lawsuits already!

Review of asus

AVOID ASUS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

AVOID ASUS LIKE THE PLAGUE!ASUS Australia refuses to sell spare parts to self fix a broken screen on 1 year old laptop unless I PAY UPFRONT $80 for a "quote". Manufacturers are required to sell spare parts but to charge a customer for a quote and to not allow the customer to fix their own laptop is unreasonable and is likely illegal. I have complained to ACCC to confirm this. Also need to send the laptop interstate and may lose all my data in the process.I ordered the parts off ebay and it is fixed but will never buy ASUS again due to VERY POOR AND POSSIBLY ILLEGAL SUPPORT PRACTICES.

Review of surveymonkey

Unreasonable cost, little/no customer service

You only get phone support if you have a premium paid subscription. So there is no way to ask questions quickly if you are trying to decide whether to use their surveys. FAQs are nonexistent. One-time survey cost for more than 40 responses is $99!

Review of kraken

Scammers 👍🏻

Didn’t even manage to deposit money, as it was held hostage for 96 hours, then when I contacted to get that issue resolved, they responded by saying they’re closing my account permanently and blocking me from making another. Naturally they don’t give you a reason cos they’re a scam.

Review of facebook

Well my experience with face book was…

Well my experience with face book was unbearable as they disabled my account on me but let another person take over my account while I was trying to get back into my account as then after trying my best to get it back i got this back that they disabled it because they thought that i was a child under the age of 5 like really if I was 5 years old you think that I would be waiting my youth social media no I wouldn't be so I had another account open and it was under my name and my nickname from a game that i play so this one got hacked into but there was this woman that i knew from the game her account got hacked into but she got her account back so that made me mad and to so that is 2accounts that they have gave away as my first one had my information on there so it was a good thing that i got bank card change d but I was getting billed for things that i didn't authorized for as i have tried a few thousand times to get ahold of fb customers care to tell them what is going on but I have not got a response back from theme as of 2019 i got a message from mr zuckerburg stating that i have won $500,000.00 so if i wanted that money is that i had to buy them a $200 apple gift card which i had bought them $250 apple gift card and next thing you know the people that was suppose to deliver the they are from fedex they got into a accident and they wanted me to pay for their hospital bills so then right then and there i caught on but later i looked up face book and saw that there were a lot of Caroline Bernard across Canada and the states so they got the wrong Caroline Bernard but all I want is my money back for the gift card that i had purchased for them as i also had pictures of these gift cards on a old computer and now i think that i have them downloaded on to a fast drive too but who knows but yeah I would like to hold mr. zuckerburg responsible for these people action even do they say that he was not involved but it is his company and whomever played this awful prank on me should apolagize and refund my money back to me but knowing that I won't see that but yeah they have this websites like creatmy bag and all those online markets like why can't anybody be honest and stop scamming people just like the games they have on fb they say that they are free but none of them are free or fair but yeah back to my fb accounts one of my accounts i had 876 friends now it looks like the person that face book let keep deleted most of my friends and the other account this person tried to ask my brother for money but the person didn't succeed but yeah my main fb account had my mother's last picture's in it as due to trying to sign into game and the money I made purchase for the games are shot all because fb just keeps on letting people in to hack into other people account and i have been trying my hardest to get back into my accounts i just need to know if they can transfer all of my information from that account to my new one and that i can use my email address that had with my fb account with my new account instead of my phone number

Review of activecampaign

Not recommending it any more

I've been working with the platform for almost 10 years. They were the right choice for the first part of that period but lately it doesn't seem to be worth it any more. The price increase (and also charging for a specific nr of emails sent) doesn't cut it for us any more. As I said in an e-mail to them, I don't think we break even any more by using the platform (profit - NOT sales - from e-mail marketing doesn't equal the cost of the platform) unless we are churning the list. Somehow the builder is still bugged after 10 years and in a world where you can't really be sure if people are opening your e-mails or not due to Apple changes a few years back, fancy automation seems to have lost its use. If you are not using the platform at its max capacity (probably the highest tier), there seem to be way more affordable options for small businesses.

Review of yoast

Very Knowledgeable Techs and very friendly

After spending the entire day troubleshooting error messages on the Kadence/Yoast setup, I finally decided to click on the chat icon at the bottom of the dashboard. It was my first time using the chat feature to connect with Yoast. The support representative took the time to gather my information and attempted to resolve the issue. Once he realized it was beyond his ability to assist, he escalated the matter. Yvonne Palanca, a support engineer at Yoast, reached out and successfully fixed the problem. Thank you!
