I wish I could give Negative Five…

I wish I could give Negative Five Stars. They suspended my account with no warning and no reason or recourse. They said I violated their spam policy. I wrote 5 times to explain why I couldn’t have. They respond only with form letters and links to the same policy. I am an elderly retired college professor living in a nursing home and rely on Pinterest to pass long, boring, lonely hours. I have hardly posted any pictures at all —only 6 shots of manicures I tried. I can’t get acknowledgement or attention from anybody. So frustrating.

Pinterest has taken over my phone’s home screen

Pinterest have gained access to my Android phone home screen without my permission where they show youtube videos I don’t want and didn’t ask for. They interfere with my use of my phone. I don’t have the app and I’ve terminated my account - it’s still happening. How is this a strategy to promote their service? Weird.

Unclear Pricing and Frustrating Experience

I recently tested Odoo and was left feeling frustrated with their unclear pricing structure. While the software offers potential, the overall experience was disappointing.Unforeseen Charges:During my trial, I used Odoo for personal use only. However, after the trial ended, I was hit with a hefty bill due to "Customization (lines of code) on the database." This information was nowhere to be found beforehand, and there was no warning about being charged per line of code.Hidden Branding:Another annoyance is the inability to remove the "Powered by Odoo" branding from your website, even with a paid subscription. This essentially forces you to advertise for them while paying for their service.Taking My Business Elsewhere:Due to the unclear pricing, questionable practices, and lack of customer advice, I decided to cancel Odoo altogether and look for alternatives. There are definitely better options out there that are more transparent and user-friendly.Recommendations for Odoo:Clearly outline all pricing details, including any potential charges for customization.Be upfront about branding limitations for paid subscriptions.Improve communication and offer better customer support.Spreading Awareness:I'm sharing this experience on Trustpilot to warn other users about potentially encountering similar issues with Odoo.Advice for Potential Users:If you're considering Odoo, I strongly recommend thoroughly reviewing their pricing structure and terms of service before signing up.Note:It's important to acknowledge that this is my personal experience with Odoo. I was interested in subscribing to NS - I used to take it back in the 80's, but after reading many , many 1 star reviews here and the scripted disconnected responses .... I am not going to subscribe...So well done NS, potential customer put off even before subscribing !!You could do so much better by sorting out the subscription, and equalising the subscription cost to all customer, whether new or existing...Make a brave move....Offer more options .... 3 month... 6 month etc etc , with no auto renewal (or an OPT-IN renewal option, not an automated OPT-IN).... or at the very least more warnings before renewal takes place.... instead of the trap you have in place now....with less of a cost penalty for choosing a shorter period.... and you might actually win over (more) customers....EDIT: (28/3/25) The response from New Scientist should tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about the kind of customer service you should expect ...Personally , good decision not to subscribe

kept locking my account after verifying my account over the phone & in person, tried sending my cousin some money on Zelle and next thing you know my account was locked, went to the branch the next day just to find out they closed my account due to unknown reasons.

Don't expect help when overseas

Absolutely infuriating that I am overseas with a UK number that they have on file and every time they try to verify me whilst trying to access my account on a computer, no call or text comes through, and these are the only 2 options being provided to me. I decide to try a different method and call them and when doing so get a response that they are closed to call back during "normal business hours". Like WTF I am overseas. You should have people ready to help at all hours. Further, their automatic response doesn't say what their "normal business hours" are. It's 12:40pm Saturday - so will I have to wait 3 hours to speak someone or 48 hours? Jamie Dimon needs to stop ranting and complaining about everything under the sun including his employees and put money into his systems.

Great Selection, Bargain Prices, BUT...

I've been a regular shopper on Temu for about a year now. Satisfied for the most part, BUT you need to be aware that you get what you pay for. The cost of everything is really cheap, and therefore the products you get are really cheap too. As long as you keep that in mind when you shop, you'll enjoy the great selection. I've had a couple returns with them too - although the actual return process is a little cumbersome (and you can't exchange right now - only return) it was free and I did get my money back. The one issue I have is the $5.00 refund you get for "late delivery". You can only claim it on the App and it brings up a list of items to purchase where you can then apply it to. If indeed they want to give me $5.00, just credit it to my account! Overall, I do like shopping on Temu, but very carefully.

Dysfunctionality

Was bad when I first started using it and at that just as a dummy account; it has gotten even worse as time has went by. Blocking rules sound good - but don't work. Takes about 20 seconds after loading to become responsive - what is this, the 90's? I can't actually remember all the specific things that are disfunctional about it because A: It's almost everything, and B: I rarely use it any more.

No Support, and even less concern.

Despite providing full technical details and clear evidence of an account-level API access issue, OpenAI support repeatedly fobbed me off with irrelevant, copy-and-paste responses—many clearly generated by AI. My requests for a human review and a simple backend check were ignored. After days of frustration and zero progress, I cancelled my subscription and will be moving to a provider that actually supports their customers. If you need reliable technical support, look elsewhere.

My family love the Nissan Altima, we 7 currently in my family alone. But our local dealership in Enid , OK repair shop is not up to par. What does an appointment mean if you have to wait several hours for routine oil change? I'm seriously thinking about not buying a Nissan just because of the service department.

Mastercard's customer service line is a steaming pile of crap

Mastercard's customer service line is a steaming pile of crap. I spent 25 minutes on hold with customer service. I then got on the chat while I was still waiting and they directed me to the security line. I went on to spend an additional 31 minutes on hold waiting for that before they hung up on me without me even talking to a human.To top this off, their hold system is archaic. There's a fifteen second song loop that plays constantly, and the "please don't hang up, we value you." message chimes in at seemingly random intervals. I wouldn't hear it for five minutes, then it would play three times in a minutes.Screw Mastercard. I'm cancelling as soon as I can. I will never get another master card if I can help it.

Spammers.Your clueless website is sending loads of unsolicited e-mails to me only because somebody I don't know mistakenly indicated me as their collaborator. Those e-mails have no option to unsubscribe the flood of spam e-mails, which I believe is unlawful, by the way. I even tried to contact you, to no avail. Stop harassing me.

Two years ago I bought an HP 6000…

Two years ago I bought an HP 6000 printer which is one of the worse purchases I have ever made. Spent liter2ly tens of hours trying to get it to connect to Wi-Fi without success. The only communication with gp was text messages which was useless beyond reason. Then when I gave up and went for aw cable connection it chewed up,eve4ynsheet of paper when out and bought an Epsom best decision I ever made
