Eventbrite are thieves!

You guys are awful people! Keeping the money people paid for events because it was canceled because of Covid-19.I got an email as my event Dumb People Town was canceled and said to expect a refund now your saying no refund and you are keeping my money. No contact on your site and no one answers back. Hopefully I can file a dispute with my credit card company as you guys are thieves! Do the right things EventBrite, you are only hurting your business for future events as I will never use eventbrite again.

Their app is total crap. You can't apply any discounts and there's always some nebulous reason why your order doesn't qualify for the discount. Even if it isn't listed under the 30 brands which they tell you are excluded. It's a joke.

CC staff have serious flaws in their decision-making process.

Some lying trolls managed to get our owners accounts and clubs closed down due to alleged user agreement violations but support refuses to tell them specifically what they did wrong. And then they randomly select new owners among the SAs who know little about leadership and running clubs, to take over other clubs the accused owned.Support? What support?? No one ever gets back to anyone with anything helpful or meaningful. CC staff have displaced over 1000 kids who's happy place was playing chess and making life-long friends in these clubs that were run by the nicest, most caring, and encouraging admins.Staff from support said something about privacy but didn't specify what they did wrong or how to correct the problem. They say that private clubs are given a lot of freedom on what they do privately, and then make decisions contrary to that, and inconsistently. Staff seem to try to be helpful but disguise the fact that they're just trolling and not giving anyone specific truthful answers or suggestions on things to correct. They endlessly run you in circles. Any club admin would be happy to change how they do things but cc hasn't told them what changes need to take place. And the cc user agreement is vague enough that they can often interpret things according to their personal biases or just on gut feeling, instead of facts. The owner accounts they closed never hurt anyone and always had the best interest of the youth at heart. As owners, they had among the longest positive standing track record.. 10+ years. In fact, many youth and even adults and the parents of youth, have said that they've helped their kids through some very tough times in their lives. The members honestly mean the world to them. Staff are manipulating these club owners and their members because they know what's going on but don't tell them. They often do not seem to have a person's best interests at heart. It's a serious problem when you shut down large clubs and longstanding accounts as a result of believing half-truths, twisted truth, and outright lies, and cannot present any evidence. Defamation of character and libel are serious breaches of law, yet they just give such accusers a slap on the wrist, and instead, punish the victims.

The learning curve was minimal and the finished product was spot on for our needs.Customer service was excellent when I had a question. Terrible service that lie and cheat to get your money

Terrible service, they lie and cheat. You are meant to be able to cancel order and have manual reviews of the files once ordered but they refuse to cancel your order and do not notify you that their reviewing your files by the printing engineers which they are meant too. They said I could order just to have my files checked then cancel but actually did not, they charged me and never refunded. The products were also broken upon delivery and were terribly made. I could not even paint them due to the poor quality.

Support does not care and leave you hangingI bought a product on Kickstarter website and I tried to message creators in many channels. 3 months later, no answer. When I contact Kickstarter, they basically told me to keep trying. I won't trust again this brand that doesn't care about customer support.

Swingometer says no

The BBC was quick to jump on the “Presenter” story but seemingly cannot report the flood of consistently negative reviews for this appalling “upgrade”. Please reinstate the old app, there was, comparatively, little wrong with it. What idiot approved this? Everyone has pointed out the flaws in this new version, and with remarkable consistency. If this was an exit poll on election night the swingometet would have toppled over. What a total disaster.

Impossible to get it to work on laptop, just keeps telling me to rescan qr code.Worked on Android tablet until I turned it off then its gone forever and wants me to start the process again.If you want to waste hours of your life then trying to get this rubbish to work is a great way of doing just that

Subscription renewal

Was going to cancel subs only due to increased (but not unexpected) subs increase. Rang DT subs team today and renegoated a fair price and I accepted. No hard sell and agent was very professional as expected. Don't know why others say they can't cancel subs - yes you can by phone. No business wants to lose paying customers and want you to stay and have a conversation. You can always say "no thanks" and cancel.If you want quality jouralism, you have to pay - it's that simple. If you don't - then cancel it's that simple.

The Zutons were brilliant

The Zutons were brilliant. Musically they are all superbly talented. They played all the songs off the albums and sounded fantastic. We were at Hebden Bridge Trades. They started on time (well just a few minutes after 9) and finished around 10.10. Which I was slightly disappointed at. As it said it would be 11pm when they finish. I also thought that they could have interacted a little better with the crowd... being such a small one ( only 300) .Maybe a little chat inbetween songs? I know everyone wants to hear all the music and I did too, but it would be nice to feel like they are a bit friendlier to the crowd. Don't want to Diss them and that was the only negative thought I had. As I say band sound brilliant, music and voices are top notch. Xxx and I would defo go and see them again. X

My tutor is fantastic! Patient, dedicated and friendly. She is very, very helpful and wants me to progress. I have tried many ways to learn the French language, all of which have been successful to a degree, but this one-to-one tuition has been hands down the best so far.
