Shameful

There seems to be no end to the low standard of BBC news broadcasting. This morning’s Breakfast was shocking, using people who are in a state of shock having lost loved ones to Covid. I find myself questioning why the BBC chooses the individuals to interview out of the hundreds they must approach. We should not be made to feel like this of our broadcasting company; and it is OUR broadcasting company.The BBC seems to revel in dividing the nation. Making the most of negative views, often to make a political point. It is, of course, so easy to do with benefit of hindsight.And when it comes to compassion, let us have more of Charlie Stayt who has real empathy with those he interviews. The pretence by so many journalists is sickening.Journalism at the BBC seems to me to be at rock bottom. Why can the BBC not use journalists to provide balance? 50% balance I mean. There are thousands of heart-warming stories out there of good things individuals are doing in the face of this pandemic.If the BBC has to be negative, it should spend time seeking out and naming and shaming those who do not follow the rules. I suspect a large proportion of the rising Covid infection rate is due to those who flout the rules.

Review of hootsuite

Charged $330 despite cancelling trial

While in theory the program appears great, and I did enjoy using it for a little time, I was unfortunately left dry with Hootsuite and you should be wary as well.Firstly, I tried to cancel my 14-day trial on day 12. Thought it went through but I guess not. Then I'm charged $330 for a full year's subscription (which I was sure I opted for monthly). I've tried contacting them on numerous occasions within 5 days of it charging me and zero response.Moreover, as of 5 days from now (10 days after they charged me for a full year) I find out that they can no longer post on personal pages, which was the sole reason I even considered it. Will I be reimbursed for a product I paid for that doesn't offer the product it said it delivered? I hope so, but I'm not too sure they'll even respond to me. The only options left are to post on my Facebook business pages which have a free scheduling tool within Facebook anyway. There's other apps you can post on with Hootsuite, and it might be worth while for others. But personally not for me. And it's been a very disappointing (and unnecessarily expensive) experience with Hootsuite. And poor customer service. You're welcome to try it, this might be an anomaly event. But personally, it's been a less than stella experience for me and I'll not be recommending hootsuite to others.

Review of brave

Horrible Business Model

The Brave browser was a great idea at first. But its company went downhill. Its mobile version of Brave lacks privacy-friendly features like extensions. Brave's owners ignored many users who suggested extensions on the mobile browser. Also, you have to use the user-unfriendly forums to get customer support. But sometimes users politely demanding customer suppprt service get ignored. So, there is no professionalism from this internet browser's company. Getting cryptocurrency from this company's internet browser is a joke, too. Compared to Firefox, the Brave browser is a joke. At least Firefox's company has a phone number and responsive customer support service team. What pissed me off even more is that they removed all visible settings from Brave. So, you have to waste unnecessary time typing to find invisible settings on the Brave browser. They are pretty brave to be this annoying to users like this. I don't have to ridiculously waste this much time when using Firefox. So, my advice to you is not waste your time on the Brave browser.

Service not working properly

We subscribed for a plan for $55 per month (!) to get 1,000 responses. The admin panel always showed that there are new responses, on other surveys it showed there were no new responses although there were.The customer service knew about it and reported that it has been fixed, anyway it still wasn't fixed. Then it was claimed that it was due to the browser cache - but even though we cleared it and tried it with another browser, still the same problem. This way we were unable to check whether new responses have arrived or not. Useless service for a lot of money.The craziest thing: When we wanted to cancel our subscription, we were forced to go through a cancellation survey first. Without this, a cancellation was not possible!

False promises????

Pre-ordered fisher price wicked little people toy set from Target online and it was supposed to ship between Oct 9 and 14th. Notifications since then were for delivery Oct 22, Oct 29, Nov 5 and Nov 12. Called Fisher Price customer service and was told that the item is out of stock and they do not know if it will come back in. Relayed this info to Target Customer Service and they fail to comprehend that you can not promise to deliver what is not available. I was told by a Target representative on Oct 29 via messenger that the info would be passed on to the leadership team and that delays happen. Am I looking at false promises from Target? I am not going to hold my breath waiting for this item to arrive.

Amazing content , horrible subscription model

The magazine content is amazing but as many others have mentioned the subscription model is horrible and devalues the brand. I don’t like how to ‘get a better offer’ you have to say you are cancelling to get the discount. Long term readers are penalised for not cancelling. There should be a fixed price (that would be presumably cheaper without offering lots of people discounts) for all.

WARNING!!! DO NOT USE!

WARNING!!!! Do not use this company at all. Booked a property and received confirmation of property being booked. Spoke to customer services to confirm check in and they were going to chase. Booked flights and drove to property. Was early so rang host to which was answered by a stunned host that did not have any information of the booking and has not used VRBO for over 10 years?? refund was issued and we were stranded in Spain with no accommodation (a young family of 4). Spent over 10 hours of first day of holiday on numerous calls with VRBO. Refund issued and could take up to 7-15days for refund? so stranded in Spain with no money and place to stay. VRBO booked a hotel for us for 3 days and after that it was up to us to find alternative arrangements bearing in mind refund may not be in our account until due back? No cooking facilities in hotel, in 2 sperate rooms for stay, all inclusive but we were room only with food and drink prices being very expensive (no money within budget for this) completely ruined holiday with stress of finding alternative accommodation and finding funds to use. No support from any of the customer service personnel and their attitudes were a complete disgrace towards us as customers. Told that I could not speak to anybody higher and put on hold numerous times throughout over 20hrs of calls. Then to be told they would just keep putting me on hold??? Stranded in Spain with nothing thanks to VRBO. we as a family are completely appalled by this disgrace of a company.No inconvenience support or funds to help with food during hotel stay.

I would not trust this company for anything.Called several years ago. Was quoted $1000 per month to get started. Could not afford.Saw CEO on Jim Cramer's program crying about a month ago about not having any business. Could not understand why.Just in the past week interviewed again and elated with recent record sales.I said to my self, why don't they offer a entry level package for small new business'.Called last week after I saw introductory packages for $25.00 per month. Received a call back from one person. Called back and a different person claimed to be the person that called me previously.Then, I was informed that the person with whom I would discuss different plans was out of the office for personal reasons. So let me get this straight!Salesforce, the huge company that they pretend to be only has one person available for me to speak to? Give me a brake.Don't need help tomorrow when I need someone today!CORRUPT! PHONIES!

Extremely Disappointed with Dribbble's Double Standards and Lack of SupportI've been a long-time user and supporter of Dribbble, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. My account was suspended for sharing digital mockups, which Dribbble claims is against their guidelines. Despite my efforts to comply and understand the issues, my requests for clarification and reinstatement have been met with vague responses and outright refusals.The most frustrating part is the blatant double standards. I have pointed out that numerous other accounts continue to share similar content without repercussions. When I asked why my account was treated differently, I received no satisfactory explanation. Instead, I was warned to use more "respectful language" or my messages would be marked as spam, despite my polite and earnest inquiries.It’s clear that Dribbble's enforcement of their guidelines is inconsistent, and their customer support is unhelpful and dismissive. I hoped for a fair resolution, but it seems Dribbble is more interested in maintaining an appearance of control rather than genuinely supporting their community.I am sharing my experience here to warn others of the potential challenges and double standards they might face on Dribbble. I hope Dribbble will take this feedback seriously and work towards a more transparent and fair approach in the future.

PayPal do not uphold UK trading standards

Buyer beware. PayPal does not actually protect you against fraudulent sellers not complying with UK law. I tried to return an online order within 14 working days as per UK law. The company refused the return. PayPal would not support my return on this basis - only on the basis that the product was faulty. However they did authorise the refund.

I am not happy with the LA Times

I am not happy with the LA Times. I always pay my bill to continue my subscription until I moved out of the county. Then they want me to pay a past due bill when they kept delivering after I moved and no longer paid the bill to continue. I called Shy in customer service on 10/4 to discuss and she couldn't hear or understand me, and I speak clear English. I asked if I needed to speak with a supervisor and then she hung up on me around 10:50am. So long LA Times.
