Unable to email support without a special pin; live chat not available Aus time and phone is on constant hold.Website is fine - a little advanced if you are a novice. Easier sites out there for beginners. Must be better options out there.....

I was elated to see BN bought out by Waterstones in Great Britain. Finally, I thought the good British Authors will be available. Not so. The stores have been stripped of hardback books except for limited copies of recently published, and only the bestsellers among them. Basically, it’s a paperback store now with school titles and smut heavy, romance novels. The online is worse. I used a gift certificate I received at Christmas as they were having an online sale only. I ordered 19 books. I’m a Premium Member and shipping is free, but I think I’d rather pay. First, between Dec 26th, and today, Jan 5th, I’ve received 36 emails and I’m still waiting for one book. I usually go through the store and order, but as I said online sale only. Customer service is hit or miss according to what store you go to. They ditched the music and videos. But they are still packed to the rafters, with overpriced toys of which I have 0 need. I’m still buying British authors off of Amazon, So excited, and so disappointed, the only changes have been for the worse.

Used a VPN and they blocked all my accounts, I wasn't able to recover them anymore because they ask too many information, when the simple solution is just to reverse IP or MAKE YOUR AI to NOT BLOCK accounts on devices where I didnt' connect the VPN. (was having 3 devices connected to those accounts) Why blocking on ALL devices when only one of them used a VPN?! this is really not cool :(Had at least human presence with customer support from Reydilito then Nikhil then the floor manager Hritik and at last Abel from the Account and Billings department, but all of them were powerless to reverse the ip change. beside the technical problem, they are very kind people.

ZERO stars for your customer service!! I placed an International online order and made a mistake with the shipping address. I had to call 4 times because each time they transferred me, the line would go silent/dead. The agents kicked me around different departments (2 transferred me to Bloomingdales) but none right. One agent even made a “tsk tsk tsk”comment when I told her I needed to update my address to correct my mistake. Does Macy’s provide ANY training to these foreign agents who obviously don’t have a clue what is going on??

Lastpass started continually logging me out. I googled the problem and tried the fixes recommended by them. Nothing worked. I emailed saying I'd tried the fixes but all I got back was a cut and paste wording with a link to the same fixes. Thought they would have been better than that.

The dreadful experience with this company started the moment it sent out an email asking for banking details which looked like a scam. That email said if nothing was provided, the order would be cancelled.I reordered the items and received a second suspicious email requesting PayPal details.I tried to find out more and no-one answers the phone. I used WhatsApp which was slow, did not provide reassurance and clearly ignored my request to cancel the first order. I sent no banking details and yet, to my surprise, both orders arrived. I refused one and Royal Mail took it away - god knows if I will ever see that money again. Thoroughly frustrating experience which does not instil confidence to shop online.Products are of above average quality, so I am reasonably pleased with those.
