The ICO tolerate abuses of the Freedom of Information Act and side with institutions who submit knowingly false information in response to FOI requests, which is a criminal offence under Section 144 of the Freedom of Information Act. The ICO refuses to hold those institutions to account snd allows the unlawful dissemination of false information in response to FOI requests. This was the case with Brighton & Hove City Council who provided false information in relation to a fraud which they had enabled and also benefitted from. The false information BHCC provided was done to prevent the full extent of their complicity being exposed. The ICO enabled BHCC to cover up that complicity by allowing them to provide false information without being held to account.The ICO are not fit for purpose.

Two days later, my account was blocked due to excessive returns, even though I had only placed one order from that account.

The new BBC News app is TERRIBLE! It used to be simple to find the content one required. Now it is a hopeless jumble, seemingly designed to actively frustrate individual preferences, in favour of some "selection" deemed to be important to some self-appointed demigods at The Beeb. After years of this being my "go-to" news source, I will now be looking elsewhere! A CLASIC CASE OF THE OLD ADAGE - "IF IT'S NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT!!!"

I ordered a product on AliExpress and received a fake, clearly illegal item. I contacted them immediately, expecting some level of responsibility. In response to my last review, they told me to reply to their email and provide more proof which I did.I followed every step they asked for, sent all the evidence, and never heard back. It’s been a week now with no reply, no action, and no resolution. The sale was completed, my money is gone, and they’ve done nothing.This isn’t just poor customer service it’s active negligence. AliExpress is protecting criminal sellers and leaving honest customers with nothing.

Booked accomodation via Vrbo as part of a trip for my wife's birthday present. Shortly after booking, it was cancelled (refund generated) by the property owner who messaged me to say the property was closed/may not be available for a year and that she had reported this to Vrbo and spent time with them to ensure it would not be available for booking. It appears Vrbo kept it listed, given that I booked it! So basically they were advertising - and took payment for - something that wasn't available.To rub salt into the wounds, I booked it through a cashback site where I was due £100 bonus for a successful booking which I now won't receive given it has been cancelled. I complained to VRBO about this stating I would expect a £100 voucher by way of recompense, but they got back to me saying I'd be getting precisely nothing, nil, nada.The first time I tried to complain was verbally, but the agent didn't seem to be able to relay the complaint properly, so she generated an email template for me to put it in writing. Whatever the content was did not work on my phone so I responded to the email. When I rang back to check on progress they said they had no record of it!!Even if they didn't agree with issuing me £100 voucher, youd've thought there would have been a gesture of good-will made given the terrible customer experience, but nothing.I won't be going anywhere near this company again.
