Sending out a WARNING to new eventbrite…

Sending out a WARNING to new eventbrite users: Be very carefully about which package you choose when you start using eventbrite. In good faith I set up a collection for a friend's wedding present and totally thought I had chosen the cheapest package as it was a low key affair. I wanted to use eventbrite because people can pay in different ways, the funds are secure, anyone donating would receive a nice confirmation etc. However, once the first tickets sold I realised that the fees were substantially higher then expected. I inquired with Eventbrite but it took them a good week to reply. By then it was too late to make any changes. I was told that I was on a middle sized package and not the cheapest option. I am still not aware where in the start I had the options to choose which package. I was under the impression I had chosen the most basic package. In effect from an event which raised £1820.-- Eventbrite charges came to £153.76 which translate to 8.45 %. I am extremely embarrassed to tell the donators plus the receiving newly married couple about the high fee - which could have been avoided if the set -up process was clearer. I personally find that I was misled by the information available and I am extremely disappointed. So, please - be extra careful when using eventbrite and be clear what the charges actually are.

Sonicare tooth brush defect

I had two Sonicare brushes that stopped working within a couple months of each other, these units were about 3 years old.I had the wonderful opportunity to be helped by Carlsonkane, a Customer Experience Specialist. He looked up my info, I sent him a picture of the defective units and he promptly initiated a replacement for both.Carlson was clear, concerned, articulate, understood the product issue and detailed out how and when the replacements would be sent.I never expected replacements, I was only trying to bring a potential product issue to Philips awareness.Unfortunately I did not stay on the phone to take the survey as I should have but want to thank Philips, and especially Carlsonkane, for the help and professional that was extended to me during our conversation.

Terrible Customer Support

Terrible Customer Support. I was using mc afee for 3 months until it didnt comply with my work system anymore. I called to get a refund since I have barely used it, and the answer was we have a strict policy and we can't give a refund after 60 days. I will never return back to that company.

Avoid Adobe!!!!

I fell for the classic sign-up for the free trial then forgot about it - scam. I don't think it's an accident that Adobe set things up the way they do. Cancelling the subscription shouldn't be so difficult. And the massive cancellation fee at the end of the process!!! Just Wrong!!! Avoid Adobe!!!

Totally fraud!

I wish I could give 0 starts. In the page, there were pictures of bubble bottles for kids in 6 colours and 18 bottles in the box. It said that there was an offer from 35 euros to 5 and I found it amazing. When I ordered, I received only 1 bottle! So, one bubble bottle for them costs initially 35 euros! Wow! I tried to contact the customer service by phone, mail and chat and I didn't get an answer. Result? They changed the description of the item in their page to make me sound wrong! But I have printscreens. I will never buy from them again, I finally prefer Amazon...had another issue and they solved it immediately!I edit my review to add that I returned the item using the label that sb from bol created, I just printed it and the item came back to me as undelivered....so totally fraud! Avoid!

Back in December before we even got…

Back in December before we even got snow or ice on the ground, I was made to wait 4 hours in single digit temps early one morning after my car’s radiator busted and my car was overheating. I couldn’t get off the highway and called triple A. The first 2 times of calling I was hung up on, the third time I finally got ahold of someone who didn’t speak hardly any English and it seemed like the more we told them we were cold, the longer they made us wait. It was along the highway and I couldn’t even get uber or Lyft to pick me up- literally stranded for 4 hours. When the tow truck driver finally showed up, we were actually FROZEN inside our vehicle, the glass on the inside of the car was frozen and we had to kick our doors outwards in order for the thin layer of ice to be broken and us to get out. The tow took 15 minutes to get us home and when we finally arrived back- he demanded we give his company a high review even after it was his fault we waited so long as we did. Apparently instead of sending a new or second truck out to help us; we had to wait for this one guy to complete a 2.5 hour drive/drop off himself before he was going to come get us. My mother got super sick afterwards and is still suffering from the effects of being made to wait along the road in below freezing temps! Disgraceful and shameful company!!!! I could never recommend this company after what they’ve done to me and my family. Disgraceful service and all their employees are absolutely rude! Not even local to the area and they have no idea what a safe area is or isn’t! Along the side of the highway with cars going 70 mph and not following the ‘move over for stopped vehicles’ law is NOT SAFE!!

It is extremely disrespectful to customers for employees to be watching reels while working A lady checking me out today was scrolling on her phone while checking me out. The manager came over to help with an item and she was ok with it. Why is Target allowing employees to treat their customers this way?

Do not get an HP printer

Purchased the HP envy 6452E in March 2023. The set up was not easy but I got the printer connected and it worked properly for about two weeks. It has not worked properly since it is now October 2024. There’s really no way to troubleshoot as the app, simply prompts you to download another app for troubleshooting. If I could give this product a negative number I would. This printer is still under warranty, but I cannot find contact information or a way to submit a claim anywhere. The only thing the app wants me to do is purchase more ink. And apparently it demands a subscription as well. The sprinter has been nothing but a headache.
