Review of bbb

I never thought I would be reviewing…

I never thought I would be reviewing the BBB until now. Long time small biz owner who paid for BBB membership and accreditation for years. A+ rated always. I am 84 yrs old and had hip replacement in Oct 2023. I was hospitalized and then in assisted living for 7 weeks and returned home Dec 20th 2023. I find emails threating me from the BBB for violation of trademark infringement for displaying the BBB logo I have always displayed. Angry I reached out to the BBB and no lone returned my calls. I should also add my A+ rating dropped to an F rating while I was gone. Finally I spoke to their legal department and because I missed 2 months payments to them while in the hospital they dropped my accreditation and rated my business an F now. They said I can re apply in 30 days. There is no way in hell I will ever be a BBB small business subscriber ever again. This is so unprofessional on so many levels it makes my blood boil.

Truly awful company - appalling 'customer service'

Host misrepresented their property stating it is 'Pet Friendly'. I booked and paid a substantial deposit. The host them messaged saying the dog was not allowed inside the villa.I immediately requested a refund which the host refused to act upon within the required 48 hours.VRBO online chat were completely useless saying I had to continue to wait to get my money back. I asked for the Complaints Procedure to make a formal complaint to be told they don't have one!Only when I said I would report the transaction as fraudulent did the refund miraculously appear.Like many hundreds of other reviewers on Trust Pilot I'll never use VRBO again.

They sent me completely the wrong rug, in a bag that was filthy, ripped & torn, directly from an Indian factory. I contacted customer services to complain and was told (after 3 months of to-ing & fro-ing via email/online chat & phone to try and speak to someone who actually understood the situation) that I'd have to return the rug that I had been sent, in error, to the post office/in store. I felt it was totally unreasonable to expect me to carry a heavy rug, that I didn't even order, all the way to the post office/store and insisted that a courier come and collect it. The customer service teams' response was basically: we don't care that we sent you the wrong item ~ return it or we'll charge you! Charming treatment of a loyal customer who has spent a great deal of money with the company...not any more.

The world is going mad with all this transgender craziness, allowing women to compete and fight against men. This is a complete disgrace, and all women should raise their voices.Only genetically and naturally born women should compete with each other in every sport. Transgender individuals should compete against each other or with men. This absolutely goes against women's rights and their physical and mental well-being. Who on earth is permitting this? Just as theParalympics has separate categories, so should transgender competitions. I no longer watch these events, and no woman should watch or spend a single euro on this discrimination and war against women.

I have been utilising Xe.com services…

I have been utilising Xe.com services for a quiet long time, I should admit that generally efficient, fast and they got the best exchange rates,their customers customer services are doing great job always, their sepa transfers are so quick and efficient however if you make payment through a intermediate bank to your beneficiary bank, the whole picture changes:the payment is handled so quickly by Xe.com however, intermediate bank(which is selected by the Xe.com bank partner) delays and their compliance department puts the payment for further hold.Therefore beneficiary bank receives remittance so late. This process in the end, causes so much delays unfortunately.I made electronic payments recently to east Asia which arrived after 3 or 4 weeks average each time. Isn't it too long?.. The verification issue could not be called as frustrating nor hesitating nor sentimental..it has nothing to do with frustration at all.. Of course banks have to do verifications we do accept as customers but what we don't accept the mothods manners styles that they utilize to do verifications are troubled,. If XE.com can improve it's partnership, it can easily find better immediate banks.. As CUSTOMERS WE can easily find better serving service provider either..XE customer service agents should understand this fact.. As customers, we are not toys of intermittent banks
