CAUGHT IN AUTO RENEWAL TRAP

I am A senior who signed up for a TRIAL FOR SEEKING ALPHA. Could not navigate because it was too technical. Forgot about auto renewal, and Paypal did not notify me of an inflated charge $210 either time. Unfortunately my spouse died and I did not notice this charge for a second year billing. When I tried to get a refund and cancel I was told it was too late and they lied about sending a notice to me. I have been totally blown off by Mr Chowhdry with two emails. They appear to do this to other customers as well. The date below is the 2nd renewal so I am out $420!!!

Brought up a website that has blatantly breached the GDPR and ignored any attempts I have made at contacting them. Was eventually basically told there was "nothing they could do" after they somehow managed to completely ignore what I wrote and acted like I was talking about an entirely different company. Replied to that 3 months ago and they have ignored me since.Will be writing to my MP if this keeps up

If I could give it no stars I would. Reading the reviews this is a very common view. Appalling . There is no service. . The Staff appear to be indifferent to complaints. There is no complaint department and even with very clear failures to comply with FOI and SAR's it fails to act. The Head John Edwards does not even bother to respond to complaints . A 97% bad rating speaks volumes and still the ICO does nothing to improve at any level. It is not fit for purpose and should be closed forthwith

Try to access online pension forecast I understand security is imperative but the procedure asks too many questions such as credit info then it locks you out for 24 hours it gives out phone numbers when you try to contact either no longer available or just simply end call on you appalling service

I contacted Spotify support about a few unknown payments that had been taken out of my account from an unknown account which obviously has my card details!! Anyway they sorted it right out blocked the account for any further payments And have requested me a refund. Just had to write a review with how quick they solved my problem. Thank you so much. and now to contact my bank!!

DISAPPOINTED

DISAPPOINTED. Make sure you take a screenshot when you renew and the amount you’re supposed to be charged. I had a Hulu subscription offer of .99/month for an entire year. It was due to expire in 11/2024, so in 10/2024, I went to cancel my plan, but was offered .99 or $2.99 a month until 4/2025. This morning I was charged full price $9.99. I reached out to customer service and they were NO HELP. They said if I cancelled my plan or removed the $9.99 I would lose the promotional offer. Doesn’t make sense why I was charged $9.99. I wish I took a screenshot like I do with all my other stuff but this one slipped past me. I won’t be renewing my subscription anymore.

Rich was hands down AMAZING. I was looking to get my water heater replaced and I received quite a few quotes. Rich was fair, considerate, fast, reliable. everything from start to finish! A+ work ethic. If you are in need of a plumber you should call Rich!
