All companies offer 'support,' but usually, the support from many consists of unqualified staff who will only waste your time. It's been years since I found someone in support anywhere who truly understood and helped even with complicated details. What a pleasant surprise to come across Nick here. Thank you so much!

Selling to minors (u18s) with no safety or checks in place! Absolute rip off platform and Extremely poor customer support! My teenage son bought trainers c£100 with his birthday money without my knowledge, they arrived not as described very bad condition (sold as like new). I then raised a resolution ticket on his behalf, got no response at all and had to do a web enquiry form to force depop to acknowledge the issue!! They agreed seller has mis-sold item but said the ticket was out of time and closed it, refusing to refund or help further. They say there’s no way of verifying buyers ages but surely a swipe of a credit card would do this? Avoid getting scammed by this platform. I’ll raise the issue with trading standards as poor practice all round.

Delivery was horribleTwo orders, multiple packagesSeveral delivery companies.5 packages had random phone numbers with my address, none of the numbers were mine.Driver who finally knocked, showed me and corrected my number in his service.Still waiting on the bulk of the order, apparently not able to deliver due to 'holiday closure' at my house?Requested refund and now have almost 100 in credit that I won't use because the headache isnt worth it.

Most worthless scamy site I have visited in a long time, I don't normally write review but I must warn against this scam site. You want to download something and then half way through your download you can't continue to download for a 6 hours countdown, in the meantime they want you to pay to be able to continue. But if you wait these 6 hours until the countdown reach zero you get a message you can't download the rest anyway. Stay away from these dishonest scamers

Review of bitdefender
It was easy to contact BitDefender with chat, the tech responded pretty quickly, and he was human instead of AI. He was able to quickly solve my issue, stepping me through exactly how I needed to fix the settings on my computer. Without making me feel dumb.
Review of washingtonpost
It’s disappointing to see a legacy publication like The Washington Post shy away from endorsing a candidate in this critical election cycle. Historically, major newspapers have provided endorsements to help readers navigate complex political landscapes, standing as trusted sources during pivotal moments. By withholding this endorsement, it feels as though the paper is prioritizing corporate influence over journalistic responsibility and civic duty. Many longtime readers expect better from an institution renowned for its advocacy and watchdog role in our democracy.

Pretty gosh darn good! Got chat service right away, competent, knowledgeable, friendly help, all questions aptly answered, fantastic. Hosting has been great in all respects. Pricing pretty fine as well. All in all, very satisfied after years of service.

Review of abebooks
Let's be intelligent here, fair & honest. The negative reviews here are not about Abe Books, but about the shops that have offered & sell the books. It's annoying & insulting to the rest of us, & it's misdirected anger at the expense of a retail service that is exceptionally supportive of customers who use the service.Abe Books lists books that are offered for sale by other, small book stores, Abe receives the customer order then passes it along to the store for fulfillment. If what you order isn't what you receive, a quick note/e-mail to Abe will rectify the matter. I've had experience with book stores that refuse to acknowledge correspondence but a message to Abe makes all good. As for the book store directly? I keep record & simply don't bother to order from them ever again. As for the condition of books, book buyers have learned to "read between the lines" where descriptions are concerned. There are specific rules & guide-lines where conditions apply. "New", "Like New", "Fine", "Good"... used books, like old coins, have specific descriptions. BUT, just as in all aspects of life, unscrupulous sellers will simply lie or choose to disregard the general "laws". (Personally, I don't like "stock photo" images of books on-line, but that's what we get. I've already taken this up with Abe, but again, it all goes back to the book store selling the item. If they're liars, they're liars. Report enough to Abe & Abe will stop representing them.)As for reviews here, just be sure to "READ" them & check to see if they're about Abe or the book store who sent the book. And when you post reviews, please stop taking the rest of us for fools. Be specific, tell WHO sent you the item because if you're dissatisfied, it's the book store who bilked you, not Abe. And when you approach Abe, my personal experience has been that Abe will do all possible to make good.Thank you for reading this & happy reading in general.
