Review of abebooks
I ordered a copy of a book on the website but when it arrived it turned out to be a German text! The fact that it was a German edition was NOT indicated on the website listing for the book. I was promised that the return postage would be refunded and confirmed that in writing. They asked for, and I sent, documentation on the return postage cost twice but the company still refuses to pay as promised. IF POSSIBLE I WOULD GIVE ABE BOOKS A RATING OF ZERO STARS. The company is dishonest and incompetent. AVOID ABE BOOKS AT ALL COSTS!

Review of vrbo
VRBO good and host bad. Interesting to read the bad reviews. So we booked a villa in Naples, FL for summer '23 in January. All good -- deposit paid, reservation confirmed. Then 5 weeks before departure (2 weeks ago), the 'host' cancelled - basically they got an offer that suited them better. We were left high and dry. VRBO in truth were excellent, and I accept that they can only be as good as the 'hosts' on their platform - the acid test is whether they refuse to allow this host, and others who do the same, onto their platform, or at least put some safeguard in place to prevent them cancelling. We received a refund but were still £555 short due to the pound strengthening against the Dollar over the period. VRBO issued payment for the shortfall within 48 hours. So in truth, I can't fault VRBO. As for the 'host'....
Review of mailerlite
I am an author, and MailerLite provides all the features I need to have readers easily sign-up for my newsletter, as well as all the needed features to format emails the way I want. They have a generous start-up offer for a free account, and when I've worked with their support team, they've been excellent.
Review of indiegogo
I backed several product campaigns that never amounted to anything. I understood there are risks, but indiegogo purports to mitigate those risks with contract terms that obligate the campaigns to deliver or refund. Despite thousands of requests from stiffed backers, however, indiegogo never enforces those terms and they don’t respond to consumer complaints. This company is a real den of thieves that, as a practical matter, is unaccountable for the sins it facilitates.

If I could give zero stars to Amazon Australia I would! I tried to set up an Individual Seller account online but kept getting funneled through to applying for the Professional plan which incurs a monthly fee. After trying a couple of times, I contacted Seller Support in writing specifically saying I was having issues trying to apply for an INDIVIDUAL AUSTRALIAN AMAZON SELLER ACCOUNT. The response I received in writing stated I could continue the application process for a Professional Seller Account, then once verified, downgrade the plan immediately and contact Seller Support for a full refund of that monthly fee. While I thought this was a weird way to do it, and rather suspicious, I continued the process knowing I would be in contact with another employee during the verification part of the process and would have the opportunity to confirm this information. The woman who conducted the Video Verification call did in fact confirm the information I had received about the refund, so I agreed to continue on.Well guess what? After following the advice of two Amazon employees, Amazon Seller Support are now REFUSING to refund the monthly fee they had deducted from my account.I would urge anyone thinking of setting up a Seller Account with them to be VERY WARY as this entire process has been dubious. From the strange way the online button/process repeatedly didn't send me to setting up an Individual Account, but the more expensive Professional Account, to the multitude of excuses I've since received from them for not refunding me despite providing proof of the advice from Seller Support in writing.Worryingly, they even asked me whether I might have had been scammed on my Verification Call as they they had no record of this call happening, yet I received my Amazon verification email following the call and they deducted the monthly fee shortly after!Don't trust them. I know from doing some online research, I am not the only one. I only wish I'd Googled this beforehand, but had never imagined a big organisation such as this one would be so dodgy. I do hope they redeem themselves and honour the refund, which I will doggedly pursue. I will update this review accordingly.UPDATE: FEB 2021I finally received a refund only after engaging Fair Trading. This has been a horrendous experience and I have shut down the selling account.
Review of 99designs
Review of 99designs
First off, I'm an artist myself so I can be very picky when working with others. So I was very pleased to find that, in my experience, the designers on 99designs are not only extremely talented but also very open and receptive to even the tiniest pickiest changes. From the contest I ran, there are clearly different skill levels, which is to be expected, but they all seemed genuine and are doing their best. The finalists I had were amazing - even though I was only running a bronze level contest - and it was a very tough decision to choose the winner. The structure of the site is a little difficult for me to navigate as it feel a bit disjointed, but that's just personal to me. But everything is there and once you work it out it's very easy to communicate with each designer individually or message them all, and to review and rate designs.Creating a design comeptition or brief is really easy and the flexibility to upgrade or extend at any time is great. The ability to easily create a poll and share to social or with collegues/friends to help you choose a design is great. The staggering number and variation of designers whose work you can vet in advance is impressive.I've used the site twice now - 1 direct commision and 1 contest. In both cases I was blown away with what I ended up with. They may not be the cheapest, but if you're looking for high quality, truly pro artwork, and are prepared to move beyond fiverr, you really can't go wrong. And for what you can get - it's huge value for money. As they say - 'you get what you pay for.'
Review of wayfair
First time I ordered an item on Wayfair. The item went on sale the very next day and they would not do a price adjustment. Because of their lousy policy, I will not order from them again.**Wayfair, maybe you should look at all the 1 star reviews before you respond with your canned answer. Your customers are not happy with this policy!!!!***

Trying to put real facts but occasionally miss the point. They use real facts, seek truth, mornings with Maria, great insights, Tucker, fair to the point, Elizabeth, Lou Dobbs, The five all geat information not all one sided. It seems that Chris Wallace is the most biased on the network, and should be fired. Here lately there showing to be as the rest of mainstream media, shut up and listen, get to the truth.
Review of depop
If I could give less than 1 star then I would, done everything possible in order to make things as difficult as possible for me. Linked the wrong email to my PayPal account and blamed it on a “typo”. Dragged their feet 5 or 6 times to give me a transaction ID, then added a new email to my account which I hadn’t confirmed or given them which they then blamed again on shock horror a “typo”. Horrendous company, if you’re thinking of using them please don’t! Go to Vinted instead as they are a proper institute with integrity! Hopefully Depop go bust sooner rather than later.

Review of wpengine
The company’s acquisition of ACF continues to devolve the product support, contrary to what Ian has said on his posts. The company (WP Engine) refuses to look into amy issue affecting ACF and just kicks the can to any other developer they can.
