I was at the Kissimmee Florida store at The Loop Mall. I went during the evening time and they were pets in the restaurant. Hairy ones. On another evening, it was very busy and the line was very long. By the time I got to the front there we're only two girls working. I ordered a burrito with chicken white rice cheese corn black beans and sour cream. I like to keep it simple. I noticed the person sliding my burrito across the metal counter without any protection beneath it and scooping food back into the burrito off the counter we should have been discarded. I went home 10 minutes later and you got to eat my food. By 12 midnight I became sick bloated nauseous. I called out from work for the next day. My nausea was excessive and I began to have extreme diarrhea. Mind you this was a Saturday and I only had a bagel and tea for the morning, some oatmeal for lunch. And chipotle for dinner. The only thing out of routine for the whole week was Chipotle for dinner which I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch everyday. Now it was early Sunday morning, and I was sick like a dog. I finally began to vomit what was in my stomach. It was all Chipotle food that was sitting in there for hours. I was finally strong enough to go to the emergency room where they labeled it as food poisoning. I contacted Chipotle a couple days later by email, they did an investigation, and a week later, claimed no responsibility for my illness and threw my case out. Needless to say my family have never touched another Chipotle and whenever I go out I recommend no one eat Chipotle, especially coworkers managers strangers on the street, homeless people... everybody! I let that situation go despite being sick for4 whole days and missing 3 days of work and running up a $1,500 emergency room bill.
