Review of emirates
I have used this airline for long haul for over 20 years now and although they are not the cheapest, previously i used them as i was totally satisfied with them. I had flown both economy and business class and was happy with the service provided. That was until after 4 years of not flying due to Covid when i decided to treat my family to a holiday in Switzerland. The flight from Bangkok to Dubai is the reason for me now deciding to use another carrier. As a family of 4, we flew economy and i had pre-booked seats. Not long before our flights i showed my wife the seats that i had booked and she asked me why i had chosen these seats. I looked online and saw that these seats were not the seats i had booked. Emirates had changed the aircraft and the new aircraft did not have rows of 2 seats so they changed us to normal seats without telling me. The changed seats were not acceptable so i re-booked alternatives. Some time later i lost my credit card that i had booked the flight with. I paid and was charged in UK sterling as i used my UK credit card. When i returned from holiday i completed the online refund request form and after a long time eventually got a reply that showed that they had not read my email properly. So i tried to phone and complain but this is impossible with Emirates. You have do everything online. I was given an email for complaining so i sent them an email and actually received a prompt(ish) reply! When i tried to reply to their reply it bounced back as a non reply email address! So back online with online forms!!I have now been sent a promise of a refund in Thai Baht! Or should i say 4 refunds for 4 seats! They are sending the refund in Thai Baht to my UK credit card which means i will have 4 foreign currency conversion fees to pay! Not only that i have lost the card and previously reported it as stolen so it will be difficult for me to access the money, if indeed they can still send it to that card. In short from being an airline that i have recommended for over 20 years, Emirates has gone to an airline that i warn people about. I have been happy to pay a premium for my flights before now with Emirates. Now i have already got 7 business class travelers to look elsewhere. In short why pay a premium for a better service when that better service is a thing of the past.
Review of chess
I've been giving them the benefit of the doubt up until now but it's getting harder and harder to do that. The website seems to function ridiculously badly for playing actual chess. I have at least one game every day rendered unplayable due to connection issues, despite every other site/application working flawlessly (urban area, fiber 100mbs tested). I've had opponents regularly disconnect in winning positions due to what can only be connection issues. The support is a joke - takes about two weeks and all you get is a copy paste email that doesn't address anything mentioned. Not to mention the huge amount of people who just disconnect or stop playing in lost positions. Chess.com doesn't seem interested in addressing that in any meaningful sense. It seems like they're so focused on selling premium but I don't understand why they don't invest some of the money they recently have coming in into making the actual chess enjoyable? Surely a flawless chess experience is a better sales pitch than endless popups and getting the odd GM to play on their site on twitch? I can honestly say that it's not enjoyable at this point. I love chess whether I win or lose, but watching me or my opponent auto resign while simultaneously running a speedtest to make absolutely sure that it's not my internet connection is a drag. It's bad for players and it's bad for the game.

Review of bestbuy
Best buy is absolutely a disaster. I purchased a Norton antivirus. They sent me link to down load . There is no link to download and the product key is disabled. I called twice . Every time they say It will be escalated with Supervisor. Then I don't hear anything after. Absolute garbage company. They can't handle a simple order. Their business plan is a chaos.

Jaina Grey's review performance was bad enough, but I rather put blame squarely at the feet of the editor that approved it. Jaina's logic eats itself and actually harms the folks that she attempts to uphold. She goes out of her way to say that "All the things you know and love about your favorite games were made by queer people." Well Jaina, I wonder how many queer people worked their asses off to create this amazing game which almost every legitimate review source besides you is hailing as incredible. What about them? Total toxic narcissism at work here powered by agenda-driven woke jet fuel. Fire Jaina and fire the editor. Stop reading Wired.
Review of royalcaribbean
My husband and I were booked for a March 23rd cruise out of Bayonne. As the date approached and the virus became frightening, we postponed the cruise because that was the only option. A few days later RC cancelled the cruise and offered a refund or a future credit at 125 percent. We chose the refund, but were denied. They insisted that we "chose" to postpone the cruise. No choice was involved. We had no other option a few days earlier. They just told us that their decision was final. We are out $4,000! After cruising with them for decades, this is how we are being treated. To say that we are outraged is an understatement. That is a great deal of money that they are taking from us. We are in our 70's and don't expect to cruise again given the pandemic and other issues with regard to health. RC repaid our trust in them by treating us like garbage. Furthermore, when I tried to tell my story on their blog, I was refused registration and could not comment.
