Avoid booking through Booking.com partner deals!

We booked a hotel through Booking.com partners and paid booking.com in advance. When we had to return from our holiday 4 days early due to a family emergency the hotel kindly said that they would refund us the money but we had to do it through Booking.com who took our payment.Booking.com could not have been less helpful. I rang 4 times and on the 3rd time I was promised that they would contact the hotel and email me back. However all I got was a generic email back saying we had to contact the hotel. On the 4th time the customer service agent hung up on me!We were caught in a ridiculous catch 22 situation and each time Booking.com refused to do anything even though it was them who received the payment.I have never had such bad customer service. When I emailed explaining our situation in great detail all I got was the same generic email response! Simply not good enough!

Truly disgusting service as always

I am writing to complain about an order to be delivered on 3rd April. Your driver did not attempt delivery. Over the next few hours, both in app and on the phone you confirmed it would be redelivered (100% definitely) on the 8th April, then on the 4th April, and finally on the 7th April. It's as if you really don't know what you are doing. I cancelled the order that evening over the phone and said I no longer wanted it as you were unable to guarantee getting it to me even close to on time. Even when today you confirmed again that you could possibly have another delivery today you couldn't give any time scale making the whole offer a complete waste of my time, (to be fair I don't believe for a moment given my conversations with your staff today that you could have actually had it delivered to me same day at any time, in my heart I truly believe that was just a lie to try to appease me)Either your driver was just too lazy to attempt delivery or he didn't bother because my delivery hours and days on your system for this address had been changed. Either your staff changed them so you could cover up his deficiencies or your systems had at some point changed them without my consent. This delivery address is for me at my place of work in a restaurant. We are open from early to late, there would be no reason for me saying deliveries need to be by 5pm, or saying we are closed on days we are clearly open. Even doing this accidentally is not possible as I would need to locate the place to make the changes, scroll down, choose each day individually and edit them one by one (not something that could have done as a one click error), and as nobody else has access to this account, any changes were clearly made by you. So I really need this complaint escalated. This behaviour is disgusting and for customers to have to suffer because of your attitude, lies and deception is truly outrageous.It took a day and a half to get a refund which I will be waiting 3-5 days to receive because your bank doesn't issue immediate refunds.It took three phone calls and multiple live chats to have confirmation the order was actually cancelled, ridiculous it that long. Even today you had it set for redelivery on 7th April, even though I had yesterday told you that it would be too late, that I probably wouldn’t be around to receive that order and would be unwilling to accept responsibility for alcohol delivered when I am not there. Yet you still did not cancel the order when I requested you do it for me.Eventually you offered to give me compensation. First you offered the value of the item, for what its worth I have already spent four times the value of the item trying to source it again for today as it is needed urgently, so no that's not acceptable. then you offered the value of the item plus the item for free, again which is of no use to me as I do not know yet whether I will ever even need any more of this product, a free product I may never use is really just a waste. Had you just offered twice the value I may have accepted as it would go someway to covering the excessive costs incurred because of your errors, instead your manager ended up just hanging up the chat.When I eventually got through to another manager (who eventually confirmed my refund had been done and that a formal complaint had been raised) they couldn't confirm what was actually in the complaint. Was it about the driver, was it about you (potentially a manager) changing my delivery details without my request or consent? I have no idea because you had hung up on me and nobody could see what was previously written. I was then offered a pathetic 10 bucks by way of compensation for all my wasted time and expenses. Yeah, no thank you.You claim to have issued a refund, too damn right.You claim to have offered a refund, an absolute pittance. Accepting that would be like accepting you have done nothing wrong, no thank you.You claim to have found errors in my delivery days and hours. Neither are set as would have been by myself, all those hours being minimally within the working hours of the restaurant I am in, and show us as being closed on days when we are clearly not. Changes were made by you, either recently following this complaint to cover tracks or further back in error. Either way, as nobody else has access to this account and that being changed by myself would have required a deliberate action on my behalf changing entries day by day it's clear I couldn't have done wholesale changes in error just at a click of a button. I would like to have access to any records if at all possible so I can find out which of your departments is responsible for these changes and when they were done.This treatment is disgusting, You haven't solved anything other than showing me how to fix the changes you made to my account without my consent and eventually refunding my money.It just isn't good enough.

the most horrible translation program…

the most horrible translation program I've ever used in my life but not because the product itself is bad, no. Deepl is amazing at translating and correcting mistakes in writing. However EVERY SINGLE TIME I buy a new membership there is some problem. I am not exaggerating when I'm saying this but the last 10 purhchases, in all of them there was some issue that prevented me from using the deepl extension so I had to call the customer service, then they usually fix it in 2-3 days. But literally imagine that happening 10 times in a row in the past 10 months. I'm just left here thinking how is that even possible? I've never had issues like this with any other product ever in my life. Oh and also these people won't be refunding the days back deepl was unusable. So they are basically in a way stealing my money as well.

The worst online shop ever

The worst online shop ever, whenever you order they always have an excuse to be super late, I personally had to cancel my last 2 orders, and I am not the only one from what I heard This time they said the xmas rush was to blame but we ordered from many shops and everything came on time, except for them. I highly suspect them to sell as available stuff they don’t actually have: « Order today, get it tomorrow » but 5 days later the order was not even sent, yet it was still labeled as on stock on their website m, just a waste of time. I won’t bother anymore and I advise anyone to do the same until they enhance their logistic and costumer service.

It's the same as most stories here!

It's the same as most stories here. You pay your fee and within days the account was suspended without defined cause, just mombo jumbo about what YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE. When a refund was requested the account was restored with a stern.... whatever you did don't do it again! Like anyone would ever post anything again under those terms?don't waste your funds.

I bought two routers from ASUS the…

I bought two routers from ASUS the first one crapped out in the first week so I sent it back to amazon and they gave me a new one. The second one lasted almost a year then it died. Now I sent it in for repairs and they can not fix it and they don’t have any in stock and no idea when they would get anymore. So they said I can pay 177 for the next tier or I can wait for it to maybe be in stock or the best option get the next step down in model for no additional cost. Wow thanks! 🙄
