I bought two routers from ASUS the…

I bought two routers from ASUS the first one crapped out in the first week so I sent it back to amazon and they gave me a new one. The second one lasted almost a year then it died. Now I sent it in for repairs and they can not fix it and they don’t have any in stock and no idea when they would get anymore. So they said I can pay 177 for the next tier or I can wait for it to maybe be in stock or the best option get the next step down in model for no additional cost. Wow thanks! 🙄

Website Down and other issues - AVOID!

I decided to use Wordpress for a new blog. I was going to write a review initially but decided not to as I eventually got up and running even though my stats are complete rubbish. Today my site is corrupted and so this is the last straw, I am writing the review to warn other prospective users.Today my site is completely corrupted, the header is the footer, the footer is the header, font sizes have randomly changed, tables no longer fit the data in posts and text wraps horrendously. My site is effectively down, it is hard to navigate and just looks rubbish. It is a terrible advertisement for my business and I cannot get hold of support apart from email (see below) which is not acceptable for sites that are down, it should be live support not email for something as serious as corrupted sites.The very first problem I had was that it was not intuitive to build the site despite the templates, it's a completely foreign language and I mean completely. Good luck, simple things take hours and most of the things you want to do you have to pay more for despite me opting for a paid account!The second problem I had was that the statistics were complete rubbish. For example they told me I had no subscribers despite emailing me that 2 people had signed up, well which is it?! Now they are telling me that 60 days ago I had 15 subscribers and that is just complete and utter rubbish! I have the timeline order of when people subscribed so know who signed up when.The help desk is completely and utterly useless and basically told me I would have to wait as there can be a delay in updating stats, not a few minutes or hours or even days, my stats were still wrong after 2 weeks!The email helpdesk is a complete disaster, you engage with a support agent, reply, and then a different agent replies to that and so it goes on, there is absolutely no continuity. Replies only seem to come once a day so it can take weeks to try to resolve an issue, it is quite simply staggeringly frustrating and it totally unacceptable.I am on a paid for account and this is the level of service?

Terrible

Terrible. I’m a host that now very much wants to cancel. Their website has so many bugs that I can’t log in & despite changing my passwords with them.They have no email address to contact them & the only way I can get through (as given up waiting half an hour on their chat help) is to phone them at my expense…ie a phone call to the uk. Atrocious. Bookabach nightmare. Don’t bother.

PayPal obscures any means to escalate problem with buyer

PayPal doesn’t seem to even have a method to allow buyers to escalate a dispute to them for resolution under their buyer protection program. Attempts to do so simply circle me back to the seller who is the entity I am complaining about.I thought PayPal was a safe and responsive way to make purchases but it seems I was wrong.

expedia booked my room for the wrong month.. when i tried to call the automated system kept hanging up on me. it also plays a typing sound to pretend its a person but then takes its time playing 20-30 seconds of typing sounds to tell me it doesnt understand and to call them back anytime!

They charge you for things without permission. I subscribed to Ubisoft+, and they set up 2 subscriptions for 2 different amounts, but only 1 is on my Ubisoft account.

An unpleasant experience..

There are so many ads (advertisements) on Pinterest that the page continually flicks and jumps about as new ads are added. You can't see what you want and there is no logical system. You have to log in every time and this is only so you are exposed to the numerous ads. Extremely unpleasant and a total waste of time.

Misleading Membership Offers

After paying for and receiving results of the DNA test I was offered 50% off a one year membership. However, when I clicked on the link the discounted price was not available and I was only offered a short, free trial. I firstly emailed Ancestry and then spent half an hour on chat sending screenshots and being told to try various things. When none of them worked the advisor said there was nothing he could do apart from offer me a 25% discount for 6 months. Obviously unacceptable. Why offer something that you are not going to honour? If the advisor wasn't able to solve the problem surely he should have passed it on to someone who could?

Shadiest company I have ever worked with

Shadiest company I have ever worked with.Somehow, it's impossible to obtain a business phone with any less than 10 users. I was trying to get a phone number and 1 user, but the checkout page was unclear and no confirmation was asked before they charged my account.Following this I made a ticket to ask for a refund as this was not intended and the UI should be made in a way where this is easily avoidable. I made that ticket a week ago, have since opened new tickets, those tickets have received responses, and the original ticket about asking for money back never got any response.Stay the hell away from this company. If you want to give them more money they are happy to help, but god forbid you need to refund anything. They will leave you out to dry.Thankfully PayPal and my bank both refunded the payment, and I was able to close my account and cancel all subscriptions.I'd highly recommend Google Meet, Cisco Webex, Vowel, or really anything over Zoom.
