New Update Is Awful

This new update to Duolingo is awful. I am on a nearly 300 day streak, but with this new format, I have lost interest. I used to look forward to engaging in a lesson every day. But now, I find myself having to force myself to get through it. And what is with the "earn hearts" system, and getting punished like some five year old when making a mistake? Have to "earn hearts" just to start a new lesson? What idiot thought this kind of system was a great way to learn a language? I will be looking for something else, and thank you for making this change now, before I wasted money actually paying for this.

This is one of the worst content management systems I've ever used. It logs you out for no reason right in the middle of creating or editing content, and doesn't save your chances. This is maddening! The SEO features are extremely limited. Do not use this. Get on Wordpress instead.

The worst company I’ve ever booked with…

The worst company I’ve ever booked with ruined my holiday completely I booked for myself for my nine-year-old daughter to attend the Roman Colosseum today. I preplanned an itinerary and booked for myself and my daughter to attend the Colosseum at 11:30. It took me over 30 minutes to locate the tour and tours officers due to the sign being incorrect. I then had to ask a local street seller to show me the directions of where to go. He then wanted paying for this. There was nobody at the meeting point or in the square for me to liaise with and I suffer with a mental impairment and this caused me no end of stressing upset my daughter is nine years old and I was then told that her ticket would not be given to me as they do not have a printer of it this was due to the incompetence I believe of the company I’ve been demanded for somebody to come down to the Colosseum with me as I suffer from a mental impairment and was getting quite upset at this point as I was confused as to why other people were getting children’s tickets but I wasn’t the ticket that was given to me presented that I only paid £18 when a actual fact I paid £45 through get your guide. I was then told that I needed to wait in a queue at the Colosseum which was more than likely full of over 300 people this then meant that I missed the time to enter the Colosseum and was then asked if I would push in the queue. I was so disheartened and upset. I spoke to an advisor at the Colosseum and they informed me that it was the issue of the tall provider. It was nothing to do with the Colosseum to provide the child’s ticket at this point. I’m very frustrated and it’s getting very hot. I then have to walk back to the tour and tours officers and I demand that I am given a new ticket at this point my daughter is so disheartened as she is currently learning about the Romans in our history lesson and we wanted to attend earlier on in the day so we could follow on the itinerary that we had planned. This ruined my whole day it then meant that I had to attend the Colosseum at 2:30 in the afternoon in the strong and powerful heat. This just shows the incompetence of the company and the fact they have no duty of care I am absolutely disgusting and would not recommend this company to anybody especially somebody with a mental impairment or disability. They have no compassion. This was all booked through your guide. I would never recommend that company either. I’m totally dissatisfied. I would never recommend this. Absolutely anybody.

Lately my VPN has been disconnecting on its own and staying disconnected until I manually reconnect it. It only happens on my phone but it is still disappointing. Without these issues my review would be 5 stars.

LinkedIn Provides NO Customer Support

LinkedIn (LI) allowed another LI user to utilize my recovery phone number - AKA my multifactor authorization. As a result, LI won't let me log into my account. Meanwhile, LI won't allow a user to enter a trouble ticket without being logged into their account. So how do you get help??? I create a secondary account to enter a trouble ticket. After 8 days of no help on my trouble ticket, I steal my cell number back on my backup account and then delete the account hoping that the now released cell number will allow me to log into my account. It didn't work and it is obvious that LI doesn't care, and won't help!!!
