I am deeply disappointed with VRBO's customer service following a distressing experience at a property in the Cantonments neighborhood of Accra. After enduring a situation where the accommodation provided was not only substandard but also unsafe, VRBO's response only compounded my dissatisfaction.Firstly, despite the clear misrepresentation of the property and the owner's failure to provide the advertised amenities, VRBO allowed the host to post an unfounded negative review about me. This review was allowed to remain on the platform even after I presented evidence of the owner's mishandling, including false accusations and the double booking of the room.Furthermore, when I was forced to leave the city due to the unsafe circumstances created by this booking, VRBO also refused to process a refund for another property I had booked, leaving me both financially and emotionally strained. Their lack of support and failure to hold the host accountable are alarming, showing a disregard for customer safety and satisfaction.This experience has revealed a lack of proper oversight on listings and a disinterest in mediating issues fairly. I would caution other users about relying on VRBO for secure and truthful vacation rentals, as their customer service has not demonstrated an adequate commitment to user experience or safety.

Booked an apartment at 23 Rue De La Reverence Brussels for first Christmas away.On arriving greeter was unfriendly/unhelpful, basically handed us the keys and left us to it.The apartment was large but five floors up(75 steps).The decor was minimalist, white walls black wood floors.Kitchen light was broken.Shower was broken.Fridge door broken.Lounge settee(large L shaped)and its throws/cushions were filthy.Smelt and looked really bad.Dining chairs, lifted cushions to discover crumbs/nuts etc.Bedroom one, mattress is to small for divan and constantly slid about as did the sheet which was to large for the mattress.Water for bath was somewhere between lukewarm and a few degrees higher.Pressure was so low it took ages to run a bath.We had asked for a tree as it was Christmas and we had our 5 year old Grandson along.A tree was present on arrival put no pot or stand for it and no decorations(despite telling us we would have both).The heat in the apartment soon dried it out and the needles fell.We ended up buying a small imitation tree locally.This could be a great apartment but sadly is neglected and dirty.We continually tried to address issues with the owner but clearly he had no interest.He just wants the money and no fuss.I strongly advise you do not stay at this apartment.We presented our concerns to Vrbo but they also showed no interest whatsoever.

Kitchen was supposed to be delivered today, got an email this morning saying delivery changed to next week... I rang Ikea before placing the order and explained I had tenants due to move in amd they assured me it would be delivered as I had a delivery slot.. I had a kitchen fitter organised to fit the kitchen this weekend, the kitchen fitter is going on holidays on tuesday for 4 weeks and is fully booked for the next 6 months so now i have to cancel my new tenants until I get it sorted and loosing out on 1250 monthly in rent. Going to publish this all over social media,newspapers and the radio station.

STAY WELL CLEAR. I ordered a hair curler and waited weeks for it to arrive. It eventually arrived today and what I have received is a box with absolute junk inside. I would not pay in washers for the vurler they have sent. It's absolutely disgusting. They have never answered any of my emails and trying to work out how to send things back seems you have to be a genius to work it out with no return address. There was no invoice in the package and no instructions. The description said it had numerous temperatures but all it had was an on/off switch and to make matters worse it was sent with a 2 pin plug!!!!I live in the UK. They are nothing but scammers so beware.

It has its ups and downs. It’s still a decent way to stay connected with friends and family, and I like the group features for shared interests. However, the platform feels cluttered with ads, and the algorithm often prioritizes irrelevant posts over content from people I care about. Privacy concerns also make me uneasy, as it’s hard to trust how my data is handled. Customer support could be better too. It’s an okay experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

I had an exposed nerve on a molar, and the pain was excruciating. Dr Perez Patron made time in his busy schedule to assess me, give me an initial injection for the pain, give me a subsequent injection, and them remove the offending tooth. He explained all the optins very clearly, pointing out that if the tooth was cracked below the gum, the only option was extraction, which he duty and deftly performed. I am deeply indebted to him.
